Isle_of_Weed 12 hours in a glass of water then placed between moist cotton buds inside 2 plates at 25 degrees Celsius.
24 hours later the tap root sprouted and I have placed them in the final medium, a 12 L fabric pot filled with 80% Grow Mix and 20% Perlite. At the bottom of the pots I placed clay pebbles to have proper draining at the bottom.
For now I have placed the pots under small day-light led lamps and covered them with a DIY dome I recovered from some bottles of water. Temp is around 20 degrees Celsius and RH is about 80%
.... and after approx 3 days ... I found these little cute babies sprouting out into life β€οΈ

Nothing much to report, seedlings growing steady.

The little girls are growing and doing great on Day 6. Watering them slightly with spray bottle to keep some moist within their reach.

Removed the plastic domes to give the girls some space. Watered with only water at Ph 6.4 around 350ml each girl.
This will be the last time I water without a run off. From the next round will start watering until I get a decent run off of about 10%
I grow in this substrate, is it considered soil or coco ? What Ph should I water it at ? Had loads of problems in first grow with nutes due to over feeding which lowered my run off Ph to 4.7 and gave me problems. This time I will go slow with those but at what Ph? π
I would water between ph 5.5 and 6. I would also use a different soil to start them off in as this one's quite heavily fertilised and could burn your seedlingπ±π
5.8 vegging, 6.2, 6.3 flowering. Best If ph going in matches ph comming out in run off. You should not have any over watering issues either. Coco and perlite hold air.

Both ladies are growing up healthy on Day 8. Medium still humid so no water given.
Day 10
Medium still a little moist so I decided not to water yet. They seem to be doing good and fine.
Day 12
Watered each plant with 2L of water at Ph 6.2 with .5ml Power Roots and .5ml Pure Zym. Watered until 10% run off.
Day 13
Plants seem to be happy after yesterdayβs water. Growth can be noticed daily at this point.

Growing strong πͺ Both ladies still moist so no watering needed. One Gelato noticeably is growing faster than the other

Watering day today, gave them 2L each with .25ml/ l Cal Mag. They are visibly different with the one on the right growing bigger leaves. Both look healthy and growing steady.
Day 20
All going great on day 20! I decided to defoliate the larger plant of its 2 largest fan leaves to expose the branches underneath to light.

Last day of week 3 and the ladies look great.

Ladies growing daily! No water today however I tucked in a couple of leaves here and there to expose some nodes.
Day 23
Watering day today! 2L of water each at Ph 6.1 / run off is Ph 6.0. All seem to go fine till now with some little signs of nutes burn on the tip of the fan leaves. The medium Iβm using is heavily fertilized and it might be just a little over the limit for these plants at this stage. However growing strong πͺ
Day 24
Today I performed LST and some defoliation on the large lady however I decided to leave the other one grow naturally. We will see how both will run thru.
Day 26
Watering day today. 2L each of only water at PH 6. Been checking run off EC and the large girl seems to be eating more than the smaller one. Will keep that in check to make sure nutes are added at the right time.
Day 28
Seems like the shorter lady is switching to flowering mode on day 28. The taller lady is doing fine too.

Watered today with the addition of some Calmag. Run off EC is showing me the plants are eating away the slow release nutes found in the grow medium. Soon they will need some extra juice ... but not there just yet.
The ladies look healthy and growing daily. They are so different yet both come from the same pack. The large one reacted well to the LST tie down, I might do some more this week. The βvirginβ one is more of a bushy girl. We will see how they will turn out.
Day 32
Both ladies have these black spots on some of their bottom fan leaves. The smaller plant has a little more. I gave them water with Calmag again today and am trying to raise the medium Ph a little.
Day 34
Black spots at the bottom seem to have remained relatively the same. Iβm convinced that itβs a Ph issue and need to raise the overall Ph above 6.5. Medium still wet so I need to wait an other day for watering correction.
Day 35
Watered with nutes today, both ladies got their dose of grow and bloom. Tried raising pH but the medium buffers it to 6.1 Defoliation of all leaves effected with spots on both ladies. Mostly bottom fan leaves which could have been some funghi. Anyways ending week 5 looking great IMO, letβs hope they flourish π
Personally, I wouldn't worry about it! And I'd probably trim them off ESPECIALLY since they're on the bottom! If you see the same thing happening higher up, then you know you have a problem but for now - meh! π
Probably not getting enough light and maybe needs a dose of calmag π€·ββοΈπΌ

Ladies look great on the start of week 6. Yesterdayβs feed went in well and they both seem stretching their nodes.

Watered them with water only today. They look happy and healthy. The red stems on the taller lady are genetics as kindly confirmed by Fast Buds. π

Water day today / mixed different cocktails for both with specific needs. Run off Ph and EC improving :)

All looking good today π - both plants have some slight rust spots on some leaves but I think itβs Cal/Mag deficiency and yesterday I both gave them some. Today the spots seem to have remained the same so maybe itβs solved.

Ladies are stretching their tops during these days and filling up slowly but steadily. All looking good till now for the Gelato Sisters π―ββοΈ

The start of week 7 and the ladies are thirsty for a feed. Girls looking good and are currently stretching. The smaller one reached the bigger one in height. Defoliated some leaves from the bottom from the large plant and left her sister as nature intended.
Day 45
Buds bulking up and the first trichomes have started to appear. The larger pheno is bulking up bigger till now but itβs not a race :) I love them both just the way they are π
Day 47
Feeding day today! They both seem to be doing fine! Smaller plant has a little rust spots on some leaves, but itβs not worrying me too much. Buds are bulking daily and looking better too.
Day 49
Ladies are doing great! The larger purple pheno is building up β¬οΈ BIG colourful buds while the smaller pheno is surely following suite however is a little back. It has been a great week for the sisters ... looking forward to WEEK 8 πͺ

I continued with their scheduled feeds and ladies are looking great. The big pheno has big buds full of purple and orange and coated in trichomes. The smaller pheno is more bushy but has smaller buds which are also sugar coated.
Day 55 - Gave them only water today, ladies looking great ... loads of trichomes becoming milky and full of goodness :)

The start of week 9 and I gave them a feed today. Buds are filling up and exploding with trichomes. The tent smells delicious π canβt wait to finish them. Had a look at the trichomes and there are still some clear ones.

Feed day and girls looking wow. Really glad with this second ever grow... I can see the finish line and everything is smelling of Gelatos!
Day 61
Had a look at the trichomes and they are ready. I harvested the large pheno and tomorrow is her sisterβs turn πͺπ Didnβt weigh her wet however looking forward to her dry weight. She was massive
Second grow ended well! These Gelato Autos were impressive to grow and didnβt give me any major troubles.

Isle_of_Weed It took me hours to harvest ... didnβt manage to get the wet weight but i believe itβs a high yield grow. The smell and colours of the buds are amazing and they are full of sticky trichomes.
After five days of drying the first plant is done and placed in the jars for curing. She gave me 75g of dry buds π
Healthy looking plant, I grew the same strain a few months ago and was really pleased with the results. The stuff is absolute π₯
