Started her (Betty) 1/3/22 when I was drinking and pissed that one of my double grapes 🍇 seeds didn’t pop. I’m trying to start 2 new autos every month so I can get a cache of bud stored up.
Betty shed her helmet on 1/7/22 and looks like a lil banana 🍌 she’s so cute
Betty is growing up, moved out of her studio solo cup into a deluxe apartment in the sky(Or a new 2.2 Gallon airpot on 1/10/22. Sterilized the soil FFOF before she went in, and watered her with a lil BTI after just to be sure. Betty and her tent mate Henrietta(Mephisto®️Double Grape) will have the lil tent to themselves these next 2 weeks as my Jack Herer’s finish up in the big tent. Then the Jack’s will go in the small tent to dry, and I’m gonna move all the lights to the big tent, I need a new humidifier…
She had been doing really good till I was watering on 1/18/22 and noticed fucking fungus gnats hoping and flying around in the dbl grape pot. Her being in the airpot with those things scares me 😱. So I wrapped the airpot in a garbage bag and covered the soil with pumice stones and a little DE. Fingers crossed cause I want to move these into my main tent and use this to dry my jack herer’s.
Now this girl is coming along nicely! Just steady growing, no issues no gnats. I topped her today 1/26 2 days before I topped my lime daiquiri, if she handles this well, next week I’m gonna top each of the new nodes if far enough along.
This girl is 1 month old today from seed hitting water! She’s just growing beautifully! I discovered when I topped her on the 26th, I also fim’ed her at the same time. She hasn’t skipped a beat, I’m tempted to try 1 more topping, but I think she’s about to start pre flowering. Can’t wait for this one!
She’s just plugging away, she got a recharge, plain water, light veg, plain water. She’s started pre flowering, her next feed is gonna be a 75% veg, 25% flowering feed. Her roots are coming out of the bottom of the airpot, looks healthy
I’ve trimmed a lot of lower bud sites trying to get the main colas to be the focus. She looks hungry though, I’m gonna attempt a small nitrogen foliar spray and see if that helps.
I took her out of the auto pot, and put her in a fabric pot, the root system was insane, I think she’s got lock out I’m gonna flush her soon, but she’s putting on some weight in all the right places 😂
She’s looking a little rough, she’s just barely limping to the finish line. She also is right next to the most beautiful plant in the tent, so I think that takes away from here a lil. Interesting smells coming out of the tent though…
She’s not the most photogenic of the bunch lol! Went to flush her on 3/13 fucking fungus gnat flies out! Killed it sealed up the tent to protect my littles, and put her into my drying tent with my spare light. Went to cover her up today cause my double grape needs to go into the darkness for a few, checked her trichomes and said fuck it, close enough can’t let gnats spread to my main grow. Can’t wait to chop
