Firs time using fish 💩. Really easy to use and helpful, I think.

Learned my lesson about light burn on my last grow so I kept it up high this time. And I didn’t burn my plant this time. Woot!

I loved growing this strain from @Sweet_Seeds! I’ll definitely try their genetics again. She’s beautiful and vigorous and smells amazing with pine and citrus notes that remind me of my time in Colorado. My best grow yet.

Grow Questions

Why is my seedling so pale? It is cold in my grow space in the basement. She has been growing slowly and I figured the recent cold temps are the reason for that. She’s in the same soil mix as her dark green roommates. The pH meter shows a little on the acidic side.

Hey, I have a few questions and suggestions. If you need more help after this, or want to add in any extra info start another question. We don't get notified of tags in the questions or of replies its weird. Looking at your diary I don't see PH number for when your watering? and that your using recycled miracle grow substrate. if that medium was not prepared and cleaned it could be part of your problems, sometimes pathogens can hide in there if its not composted or heated before hand. It also might be depleted in terms of nutrients. As the baby sprout in week 1 and 2 it was looking proper, real good. Now as its growing up its looking a bit sad and lemon lime vs green. so the seeds where good makes me think its in the medium more so. How are your monitoring the PH of the soil to know its a bit acidic? and what PH did you get for it? Few things to try that may help you improve your grow. 1)Try and heat the room a bit in the day, 18c/64.4f is not bad, but wold be nice to get that around 21c/69.8f, Night time temps could also be boosted by a few degrees as well. 2)Start monitoring the PH of your water. What PH you want will depend on how your feeding them. Dry amendments like Gaia Green/Dr.Earth or liquid feed like BioBizz/General Hydroponic. Normally dry is anywhere between 6.4-6.8PH and liquid is anywhere from 5.5-6.2. 3)Give your plants some food, the lemon lime green colour to me says I'm hungry and need a bit of food daddy. 4)Try lowering the light a bit to give it more to work with, 2"-4", they are not stretching so that's a good sign the light is descent, If you have a light meter use it and try and find its PPFD or PAR rating at your current canopy level. Sometimes some plants are better off at establishing themselves vs others. In my grow right now one of my plants is BOSS as its root game and everything else is the same for all the other plants, its just genetics sometimes. but we should be able to tell how to give them a boost by the symptoms they are showing us. I think you can recover this and it will be a balling plant once your try some of the steps above and give it a day or two to eat. Might be best to use a fast acting fertilizer right now and mix in some organic stuff if you want to go that route. Best of luck and happy growing!

🌷🌼🌹I’m curious how you all think about this. What do you consider to be day 1 or week 1 of flowering in an auto? Is it when the pre flowers appear? Or when the buds appear? This is my 3rd grow and I have this question every time. When does vegetating end and flowering begin?

With photo period plants, most people say their in flower after they switch their lights to 12/12. They go through their stretch for a couple of weeks and then you notice button size buds. Thats when their finally in true flower. With autos you will first see pistols, then they do their week or couple week stretch and then show button size buds. Thats when their truly in the first week of flower and they can finish anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks. Depending on genetics, health and grow environment.
