I initially gave a fairly low rating to this strain, BUT I have substantially changed my opinion after a 3-month cure. Unfortunately, I can no longer change my rating, otherwise I wouldn't have rated this 9-stars.
While the bud structure was a little fluffy (they're autos, so...), the nose really came through and the effects are AMAZING! Judging purely by effects, as the scent/taste is below-average, this is some of the best cannabis I've experienced. To all you psilonauts out there, there's a healthy touch of psychedelic thinking/pondering/reflection to this strain. Very enjoyable high :)
TCH0808 Back in the states and pushing through my second grow/second run of Seedsman Northern Lights Auto. Organic grow this time around. Unfortunately, I replicated a cal-mag deficiency on this grow as well...~Week 6-7 flower, she started showing rust spots near top colas. Decided to use epsom salt hoping it was a magnesium issue (have organic cal-mag on stand-by now); however, I don't think it did much. The deficiency didn't spread as quickly as in my last run, but it did impact almost every large cola. A little bummed, but she smells really nice (fruity/citrus).
Chopped end of week 11 flower. She took forever to finish and even after 11 weeks in flower, her trichomes weren't exactly where I wanted them (75% cloudy, 15% clear, 10% amber/dry/broken). I made the decision to chop given her fox tailing and trichome state on main colas (seemingly drying/breaking). Weird finish.
Quick wet trim to remove the low-hanging fruit, now slow drying cola stems for 10-14 days @ 60F and 60%.
Full post-harvest thoughts after cure and smoke :)
NL: 68g premium flower (@ 17.6% THC), 95g trim (tincture).
Good effort for your second grow! I would look to get a light meter and get those lights right on top of those plants for higher PAR. 150W LED's should be squatted right down on the plants almost. As long as your plant tops are under 82 degrees you are fine. The more light the better the buds. Good try and I hope your next grows continue to improve.
@TCH0808, I recommend the Apogee Par Meter https://www.amazon.com/Instruments-MQ-500-Including-Lightweight-Waterproof/dp/B0988WSR59
And as for thermal gun I'd get the Fluke 59 Max

I'll check out and comment your other grows later when I have more time to look.
@LegacyMarketFarm Thanks for the input -- Much to learn! :) I used the "Photone" iPhone app to get PAR readings, which assuredly won't compare w/ a PAR device. Worth the purchase now that I have the cannabis fundamentals down and am looking to fine tune every step of the cultivation process. Any particular device you would recommend? Any other thoughts on this grow or my Amnesia Express grow? (Same tent)
