Setup: Fox Farm Coco Loco + 10% Perlite + 10% earthworm castings + 10% bat guano for my soil.
5 June: Put 1 seed into a small cup of PH'd water for it to soak for at least 24 hours.
11 June: She emerges from the soil wanting to play. I gave her a root drench with Mykos in the morning.
Hey mate, I think you will need to add calmag to your mix mate. Organic ones won't cut it, as they take too long to be available to the plant. Go grab some CALiMAGic and 150% dose with every feed - also cut back on the nitrogen and hit it with more PK and Sulphur to help it go into flower properly. I'd love to be able to say that Autos can grow well in just Soil using only organic non salt based nutes, but they don't - especially under high powered LEDs - the soil can't give them enough of what they need to photosynthesize all those photons - so you have to supplement with salt based nutes - at least your CalMag anyway - as this will green your plant up and help it uptake available nitrogen in the soil. Anyway mate, you might just have a phenotype that is a late flowerer and veges for longer - or it might have very weak auto genes and you might have to put it under 12/12 to stimulate its flower properly. Who knows.
Nice grow bro. I’ve done a few diesel autos and they are notoriously hard to get right. They are a Sativa strain though, so expect slower flowering and stretchier nodes.
Usually by 7 weeks your Diesel should be well into flower, so I’m not sure what’s happening with this one.
Be careful as this strain can hermie quite easily if it’s is stressed.
However it’s worth it as the smoke is super strong and give a true head high that lasts.
@TheBudWhisperer. I haven't topped her. I am still on the fence about topping Auto's, but something is telling me to try it on my next grow, and maybe with a SCROG setup
