The seed came above the soil. It grew upward towards the artificial sunlight gods. It sometimes gives me looks when I open the tent. I wonder what she thinks when the lights are out.

The plant grew bigger. The growth is spectacular and not surprised since it's coming from in-house genetics. We chose this particular cultivar cross because of the Mendobreath and the Dosidos.

Incredible growth speed on this lady. They call it.....just smoked a bowl...gimme a minute...... explosive?....aggressive?...let me hit another bowl......with Kief.....ha! knew that would help..... They call it vigorous growth. That's what she's got.

She looks to be growing pretty vertically so I may go ahead and do some LST work on her just for the fun of it. Don't really think it's necessary with such a short veg time I am planning on giving her. Threw some B-52 into the mix this week because even cannabis likes Flintstone vitamins.

Topped and did some LST with her. My hamstring is sore. I was jumping around dancing to some music making spam and coffee and think I pulled something. Either that or I just need to dance around more often.

Incredibly fast and vigorous growth. She's ready just after 6 weeks to go into the flower tent. If any of you play league of legends add me. My username is Tamed Fire.

When it comes to flower time I take all of the LST off. This makes for easier flood and drain watering. I talked with a friend today about an automated system for watering. This will be something I will need to design in the future for my grow so that I may go up into the mountains hiking for a couple weeks without having to worry about the plants back home. I one day hope to die under the great blue sky. Fuck dying in a hospital.

You can see in these past two weeks that this Jelly Pancakes is quite a stretcher. She's looking to triple her original starting height when she was brought into the flower tent.

Somehow I got really stoned, imagine that, and did not take the photos of week 3. The rest of the pictures will start to impress I'm sure. She looks like a winner.

This girl got big. It's amazing to see how vigorous the growth was in veg from seed just 6 weeks and then an explosion of growth in the first three weeks of flower. I'll have pictures of the full plant so you can see what I mean. I'm not sure if it's the switch to the five gallon or just the plant but it seems it's mostly the genetics that made her explode so much.

You can start to see in these photos that she's turning out special. She's got lots of frost and tons of color coming in. I've been running much cooler temps than normal to bring out her colors. 60-65F at nights 70-75F during the day. She can eat a ton. Much more than previous plants I've grown. This is the real beginning of my understanding of giving the plants too much light. In the past I've given the plants a set amount of light with no variation in the amounts. I have learned with time that they want less in the early weeks, more in the middle weeks, and tapering off towards the last weeks as less photosynthesis is happening. You can also notice by them taking in less water towards these last weeks.

Yeah buddy, she's gettin it now. Amazing plant and she looks like she's going to yield over 4 ounces too. You'll notice some curling of the leaves the the color changing and that's the amount of light and the spectrum of light I am giving that is causing this. I really learn about it on my next plant after this one but want to point it out so it may be noticed in the future grows how I have improved. Dialing in the perfect amount of light without a light meter has been a challenge but rewarding. I have noticed the product is turning out better and better with each grow as I learn more and more about the process from start to finish.

Started the flush this week. You can see the curl of the leaves from giving her too much light. It's not that bad because she seemed to be able to handle it but I would prefer to have better looking fan leaves towards the end of flower. She's a frost factory that's for sure. Probably the most impressive plant I have grown so far. Excited to get her in my lungs.

This plant vegged like a champion. 6 weeks and she was ready to go. I put her in a 5 gallon so she exploded when she went to flower and gave a great harvest.

Hey man, Absolutely beautiful ladies you got there. I love your clean setup, Would you mind me sharing some advice to try and improve the crop? You got a lot of things right here man so I do not need to say much, Your temp ranges in veg & early flower are spot on and your keeping your temp gap between lights on and lights off under 10 degrees less when they go off which is perfect. One thing I did notice is once your plants finished their vertical growth which usually happens between weeks 4 to 6 of flower depending on strain, Then and only then do we want to begin to widen the temp gap between lights on and lights off. The reason for this is now that the plant has finished growing vertically it will send signals to the plants to instead of stretch, Put more energy into the budding process and resin production. The theory being that the female cannabis plants genetic responses to stresses change depending on what phase of its growth it is on. Once it has finished doing all of its upward growth so it can cast its seeds out and reproduce effectively it will then want to form up nice big dense flower clusters to make seeds in and to get as sticky as it can to attract as much pollen as possible. If we exploit these responses we can get a much better end result from our flower. One other thing for the wattage of lights you have they seem a bit far away. If you do not have them already get yourself a PAR meter and a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 62 MAX. These 2 items will really help you get the most out of your lights onto your plants without overdoing it. If you got a minute would you mind checking out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary and following my profile? Thanks a ton man. If you should ever feel you have a question or need any help do not hesitate to ask. Happy growing!

@TamedFire, you're doing great with what you got. I use a apogee quatnum flux MQ par meter As it reads in Micromole. Keep up the great work.
TamedFire
TamedFirecommented3 years ago
@LegacyMarketFarm, Thank you. I can't control the temps. It's in a house in a room I am living in so it's mostly for the comfort of humans and not the plants. My lights are definitely at the right height. The lights I have are actually overpowered and I can only run them at 60% max. It's basically two HLG 300 Rspecs in a 3x3 lol. I want a light meter, one that measures in micromoles. They are just a bit pricey still. I run different cultivars and each one requires different lighting requirements so blasting them all at 60% doesn't make sense when only some can take it. If I had more control over the environment and could customize it and tailor it to the plants needs it would be much more optimal.
