Nice week of growth for all 3 Mephisto runs so far. Really happy with the results I’m getting from Mega Crop. One of the things that’s nice is the smell is really strong for just barely showing Pre flower. Really looking forward to seeing how these finish up. Thanks for checking them out.
LST and Defoliation today (day 36)
Week 5 flower time!! Beautiful growth coming from the Canna Coco and fed with Greenleaf nutrients. Some moderate training and defoliation has these nice and open. Great intermodal spacing for LST on all 3 of these.
I am very excited to try these strains out in a joint having never even smoked a Mephisto strain before to growing 3 beautiful plants with no breeder or nutrient experience with really any dry nutes let alone Greenleaf. The whole process has gone amazing. The nutes have done exactly what they advertised and were incredibly consistent. Any issues people had with them were cal mag/ph at this time of flower. We will see how the weeks go, but I’ve researched these well and think we will carry this right through with the amendments I’ve made. Anyone looking for info using Greenleaf I have had a great community help me and I’m happy to answer any questions. Thanks for checking it out appreciate all your likes and comments and will always return the favor. ✌️🏼
Great week of stretch for the Mephisto Crew. I’ve been doing a cycle of feedings Greenleaf MC/Sea-K/Sweet Candy (1200ppm) and Cal Mag/(recharge low feeding) (500ppm) alternating days. It’s been really great but I think I will combine this into every feeding for mid flower and remove the recharge. Really happy with the size of these plants. The forum stomper needs to be defoliated again one more time in the next few days but is a very big girl. 3 bears OG has had a great stretch and has a lot of room to fatten. The double grape will be the smallest of the 3 from the looks of it, but still should be a great yield. Feel confident saying this will be a 1+lb tent. Thanks for checking them out ✌️🏼
3 Bears OG: this grow has been the best of the 3, definitely a big plant and the buds look like they have the most potential. This should finish up really nice
Forum Stomper: Love the way this one looks, it didn’t stretch the way I had hoped and stayed lower but other then the foliage showing a slight yellowish color this should yield great results and the buds look healthy and happy.
Double Grape: the smallest of the 3 but still a nice plant, has shown some struggles with spots on leaves though. All 3 girls received the same nutes so it’s tough for me to pinpoint, I’m guessing a cal mag or ph issues. Coco reads 6.1 when tested so I think I’m okay now. We will see how it finishes, not going to do anything drastic at this point. The smell coming off this one is incredible though, and I’m really excited to smoke this one.
Thanks for checking them out this week. Appreciate you all.
Running 3 mephistos each with their own diary:
3 Bears OG: this is the star of the show with size but not trichomes, an enormous auto with bulky buds that are still growing. I’ve added a UV (a+b) bar for 6 of my 18 light hours to increase the trichomes. It’s been 24 hours and I can already see the difference. Hoping this really frosts them up. I think 2-3 weeks left here. I have began the water molasses and signal only feeds to slowly flush the last weeks.
Double Grape: I have been so excited to try this strain. I hoped for bigger buds like the 3 bears as that’s what Mephisto photos show this is capable of producing. The buds on this grow really froze on me and began fading early. All 3 were on the same feed schedule. I can’t pinpoint why this happened, but I know I can do better here in the future. The buds are decent don’t get me wrong, they’re covered in trichomes and this has about 10-14 days left. Maybe less. The purple fade is beginning to show. This is new nutes and breeder this grow that I had no experience with previously so I’m not too upset at myself here. It’s all about learning on the tough ones and appreciating the great ones.
Forum Stomper: mephisto took a cut of forum Girl Scout cookies crossed with their popular sour stomper. This plant is a trich factory. It began producing noticeable resin very early but the buds have lagged behind the other two plants by about 10 days in size even though they popped at the same time this one has a longer schedule. So impressed with the trichs on this and hoping the buds really fill out for me, because these will be special. Probably 3-4 weeks still left here.
Mephistos are a very fun grow and learning experience so far. I have samsquanch OG, sour stomper, chem de la crème, skywalker, and mango smile I’ve yet to grow from them. Looking forward to sharing those with you as well.
3 Bears OG- the photos speak for themselves on this one. Just beautiful from height to bud structure to slight red fade coming on. Late trichs coming on very nice (that’s the story with this one they come late). Should be an incredible yielder with top notch buds. I’m expecting a really good yield here, with limited popcorn buds. Can’t wait to show this one off when the fade finishes. The star of this tent by far, so far.
3 Bears OG: what a beautiful run this was. The colors on this were unexpected. I had expected this OG dark leaf purple vision at finish, and this thing just reminds me of a sunset with the colors it’s so hard not to stare at all day. The trich production is 100% late on this plant, it puts on so much at the end. Be patient if you grow this one. The Mephisto site has this info but until I saw it the experience was unique to other grows, had very little trich production early. About 2-3 days left and this will be having the harvest info and pics next. Thanks so much for joining me on this one. 🐻 🐻 🐻
It was great all the way through. 10 stars… This grew into a really stellar plant and it took all of those qualities through harvest.
One of my best grows to date.
