Running 3 mephistos each with their own diary:
3 Bears OG: this is the star of the show with size but not trichomes, an enormous auto with bulky buds that are still growing. I’ve added a UV (a+b) bar for 6 of my 18 light hours to increase the trichomes. It’s been 24 hours and I can already see the difference. Hoping this really frosts them up. I think 2-3 weeks left here. I have began the water molasses and signal only feeds to slowly flush the last weeks.
Double Grape: I have been so excited to try this strain. I hoped for bigger buds like the 3 bears as that’s what Mephisto photos show this is capable of producing. The buds on this grow really froze on me and began fading early. All 3 were on the same feed schedule. I can’t pinpoint why this happened, but I know I can do better here in the future. The buds are decent don’t get me wrong, they’re covered in trichomes and this has about 10-14 days left. Maybe less. The purple fade is beginning to show. This is new nutes and breeder this grow that I had no experience with previously so I’m not too upset at myself here. It’s all about learning on the tough ones and appreciating the great ones.
Forum Stomper: mephisto took a cut of forum Girl Scout cookies crossed with their popular sour stomper. This plant is a trich factory. It began producing noticeable resin very early but the buds have lagged behind the other two plants by about 10 days in size even though they popped at the same time this one has a longer schedule. So impressed with the trichs on this and hoping the buds really fill out for me, because these will be special. Probably 3-4 weeks still left here.
Mephistos are a very fun grow and learning experience so far. I have samsquanch OG, sour stomper, chem de la crème, skywalker, and mango smile I’ve yet to grow from them. Looking forward to sharing those with you as well.
@superskunkyfunk, for sure. I got that from a guy on Instagram canamatoes. You can square a 7 gallon round fabric pot in a milk crate and they are perfect. That guy deserves the credit but hope they work for you like they have changed my grows for the better! ✌️🏼
@northernMike, Thanks Mike, really appreciate it. Gonna stop by and have a viewing party on your page. Been busy gotta get caught up. Hope you've been well.
@Vincent_Van_Grogh, very nice I’ll check it out and follow yours. Double Grape will be a lower yielder in comparison to the other two but the smell coming off it is amazing. Really good and frosty too. Smells like a sweet grape into a wine when you stand over it and let it sit. You’re going to love it.
