18/01 - WEEeeeeeeeeeeelcome to my new diary, hope you are fine 😍😍😍 :D
I will grow solomatic from RQS at cheapest tent available on maazon (trafika) 60x60 cm . For the light i picked a niello full spectrum white white color temperature to record a great timelapse. I have heard that some users had problems germinating solomatic, never used before so lets's how it goes.
For nutrition i will use flora series from GHE/Terra aquatica which is working great at my first coco try
About the light, they advise the panel with the typical fake wattage (led blabla 1100w) for 50$, of curse it doesn't have 110w of power; ok, so i mean let's try that because i had previously used niello as led supplier due to competitive lights; at the amazon site description it sais 120w with +-5% Mmmm ok, so as you can se at the picture of the river, it says 150w, and furthermore it gets 85W observed with w monitor.
I guess 84w full spectrum light will be more than enought with 1 auto plant to get a goood harvest.
6 days and plant looks healthy and with vissible root throught jiffy so transplanted to final bucket with expanded clay. 5.8 ph and 1,2 ec
Day 6 and plant still look really small so i have removed some expanded clay and moved the jiffy more to the bottom. I saw some roots outside the jiffy so good news i guess but not happy at all
Plant keep growing great.
As you can see at the leaves there are some of the tips of the leaves with bad color, thats because teh EC reached up to 1,8 so I added ph leveled plain water with 0,4 ec to lower the ec to 1,5 and the plant is responding really well, growing faster and with a healthy root system.
The temperature was high also (near 30 degrees celsius) so i moved the lamp upper and i will setup an 100mm fan for extraction. The led panel is really really hot
Plant is growing really quick, it started slowly but with a good root system it started to grow and grow non-stop. As you can see at the timelapse of the last week it also went outside of the recording frame.
As commentedbefore it had signs of some over fertilization and it still has a bit of it, but i think it will go further.
day 27 update. the signs of over fertilization are increasing at some leave tip, but i will wait more to take action. One thing is secure now, this plant needs less nutrients than the GHE table shows. I will wait about 1 week more which according to seed bank and some diaries is the aprox time remaining to start flowering and will apply 70-80% recommended dose.
5 week vegetating. The nutrient overdose is still there. I was outside the weekend and the plant growed too quick (doubled in size in 5 days) so it got burnt with the lamp as yo can see in the pictures. I think it will act likea a topping but i don't know the real impact yet.
I have set up an scrog to try to contain the height (1 week later due to logistic problems).
The root system is insane and healthy.
I think she is near to start flowering maybe this week or the next week.
Day 36 update- as you can see the plant is preflowering. I won't change the nutrient solution yet to avoid another fertilization excess. when the plant recover from scrog and prunning i will change to flowering nutrient dose at 80%.
day 42 - I used lower dosses of nutrients to avoid overdose as i commented before and now i Have a phosphorus defficency which i am trying to solve. Today I have added 20 ml of microbloom and there is still another 20ml to the maximum dose according to information provided by ghe/terra aquatica. Let's see how it evolves.
day 45 - It seems that the situation is stabilizing slowly
day 52 update- the nutrient problem is apparently gone now and the buds keep growing so I did nothing special this week- The scrog mess is nicely covered with tails and there is not more burning issues.
la planta continua desarrollandose y engordando los cogollos, Parece que de nuevo hay algun tema nutricional que hace amarillear las hojas, pero no creo que merezca la pena corregir nada porque ya esta en tiempo de descuento de acuerdo con lo que indica rqs. Con la malla scrog se han desarrollado una cantidad importante de colas y cogollos buenos en ramas secundarios, están bastante compactos, va a ser una buena cosecha sin duda. He detectado algo de moho en las superficie de las bolas de arcilla, imagino que materia vegetal que se ha caido y se ha pudrido por humedad. Retiraré esas bolas y listo, no parece que sea una afectación profunda
buds are getting fat and smell is more intense now. the watering level is low and the leaves are yellowing so i won't refill it because the plant is near to harvest. I recorded a microscope video to see trychomes (sorry for my bad pulse) but enought to see that buds aren't ready to harvest, maybe the next week.
This last week the plant have ended the water of the reservoir so it has consumed itself to keep developing larger buds, on day 72 ut has been harvested.
With my first time with this strain i had some troubles with nutrient dosification, nice buds anyway, y will try this another time for sure if i like the effects
