LegacyMarketFarm First week of flower mixture of Gaia green glacial rock dust & Power bloom are troughed between the plant rows and raked gently into the surface of the soil. This greatly helps with root development and completely encourages the roots to use up every last inch of soil. The c02 burners are now active on both floors. C02 levels represent 300ppm less than current PPM in feed for first week of flower.

LegacyMarketFarm Week 2 of flower the roots are developing like mad by this point from the top dressing. The first feed after the top dressing of Gaia green products is a Flower microbe / Enzyme / Cane molasses tea.
Defoliation is now done to allow more light to reach the bud sites we are wanting to develop. All undergrowth and unwanted bud sites are stripped during this defoliation period.
Getting a solid 1200 PAR on top of the plant tops. Our temps are at this point aimed at 82 degrees on all plant tops as close as possible. We allow for a 4 degree variance down or up at this stage, but as we pass into week 4 and 5 we begin our LST. We pamper our plants and do our best to remove any and all forms of stress from the grow so that when we begin to induce LST it has a much more profound affect on the plants.

LegacyMarketFarm Bud Sites forming nicely by week 4 going to be a big harvest. The divine banana by this point is the furthest along in development along with the buffalo breath. The pink 2.0 is forming up nicely as well.
LegacyMarketFarm Buffalo breath surpassed all other strains in the room at this point for speed of finish. It could have been cropped and cut down at this stage but we are letting it run right until the entire room is pulled on weeks 9 or 10.

LegacyMarketFarm So this week we noticed mites on about 6 plants in the middle of one of the beds upstairs. If you watch my youtube video you will see me plug up ducting on the wall. This was newly added the week before to help cool the rooms down more by the master grower. When he cut the hole in the building some insulation fell on this specific group of plants and it looks like it had some mites in it from previous grows.
We made a group decision to pull out the affected plants, Spray any that were touching them with insecticidal soap very closely and continue to drop room temps to stunt them out and go for the full 10 weeks.
Stay tuned for harvest shots & cured pics. If you haven't checked out my youtube go ahead and pop over and subscribe! Thank you everybody for all the support and such a warm welcome to grow diaries.

LegacyMarketFarm This is it guys pull down time! This was always a very busy time for me as I have to manage the work crews to make sure their all doing their jobs right & I would also lead by example trying to be the hardest working one in the room. It motivated everyone else to see the grower actually working with them as the last assistant master grower / on-site manager did not. Beds flooded 24 hours previously with really cold feed temp water loading the beds right up, 24 hours of darkness then chopped whole and hung in our cold slow dry/cure sea cans kept at 45 degrees & 65 percent humidity. This takes 3 weeks to complete.
My job is done here now guys, The next time you see a facility like this from me it will be my own craft cannabis facility. My planned phases to reach this goal will be coming out soon in a youtube video I will be using as a promotional video to attract investors & funding. Next week I will post up the final bud shots of some of the smalls I got from this crop as this pot is not mine I will not be able to take photo's of the big batches.
First and foremost we want to do something all Licensed producers at least here in Canada have not done. We want to take our time to build a relationship with the cannabis community both here in Canada and abroad. We want to show everybody what we are about, I want everyone to know the kind of person I am, How passionate I am about growing cannabis & how much care I put into growing it. Since I began growing cannabis I have always wanted to help others learn to grow. Now I can do this and also accomplish my goal of getting to know the community and the community getting to know me all at the same time. Our tutorial series will continue into a web series of all of our grows so we can share our experience of learning to grow in a tent and hopefully share some insight and ideas I have from my background. We want all of you to be able to watch our journey from the beginning until we reach the market & you can help out by sharing our content and making sure to support us by following us on growdiaries and subscribing to our youtube.
Thank you all so much for such a warm welcome to the community it has gone better than I could have ever hoped. Next, I will be uploading a diary of a greenhouse experiment my wife & I did this past summer in our spare time and hopefully soon after that our tent tutorial series should be starting up. We will be at first covering simple grow techniques and learning the life cycle of the cannabis plant with autoflowers. Our next series will be a slightly more advanced one using photoperiods covering more in-depth techniques, Cloning & mothering. Our series will continue on to review equipment, tents, strains and our progress towards reaching our eventual goals.
Make sure to hop on over and follow us on youtube. Thank you Growdiaries for all the support and I hope you guys continue to enjoy my diaries in the future.

This stuff came out like serious ditch weed for a lot of the phenos. I dont know if it is to be blamed on the strain or the clone guy, I would say out of 100 plants there was maybe 20 keepers. Some were colorful and nuggy others were more lanky bud but all of the keepers were caked up hard. It does show there are some incredibly weak terrible phenos in this strain. I would stay away.

We did have some weaker phenos of this strain again I am thinking it is down to the clone guy. But the phenos that were good are killer smoke and absolutely beautiful buds.

Had a whole bed pop bananas my wife & I had to watch for a solid 2 weeks and remove them all as soon as they showed before they opened. Luckily we prevented any seed from showing up in the bud but I would say VERY difficult strain to grow but well worth it if you nail it. This one was called " travis cut "

LegacyMarketFarm I would say this is a definite Instagram strain in the very definition of the term lol. Some of the craziest weed I have ever seen but flavor and smell is EXTREMELY muted. Potency is there but I did not really enjoy smoking it due to having such a muted terpene profile and nose. Grew super easy and had some giant phenos and some smaller phenos. All very dense.
50 plants 1 bed 2 800W LED buffalo breathe = 5.38 LBS ( Average yielder but dense, dense buds. )
Majestic alchemical beauty. We are all alchemists, just forgottenโSmiths at the forge of creation.
This week we will be removing all red light/warm white, I'm going to oversaturate with the blue wavelength this will send flavinoid/terpene production into overdrive, reflecting the blues in the sky of winter. The plant is hardwired to prepare for the worst, in nature if she was still not pollinated she would increase terpene production in hopes of attracting animals/insects/pollen, she is getting desperate. Naturally, the plant only stores so much, but by dropping the RH% the plant closes its stomata, extreme drought stress will send the plant in a death spiral not only producing a last burst of thc. Without the ability to perspire the plant will store all the flavinoids/terpenes.
3 days of pure blue(replacing all flowering lighting), dropping temp after day 2 of blue and keep it below 67, terpenes can start to degrade above 67. All drying will be done as cold as possible, curing will be done refrigerated.
After 3 days (8)hours/day of blue they will slide right into 72 hours of complete darkness, harvest should be ready after that. Immediately upon harrvest
Atomic decay chains, no matter how you shake it, cold slows things down, this includes metabolic rates, rate of cell decay, just like it slows bacteria growth on food/organic biomass.
I want to preserve at allllllllllllllllllll costs every last atom of flavor and smell, keeping them below 67 is essential, I am in no hurry with cure/dry.
Last harvest I done some personal testing with various dry/cure methods, also I have been reading up on the biological process involved since, the cured buds that spent their life in very cold refrigerator by far the most desirable results, so preserved and smooth, smoked directly from chilled adds a nice touch too.
Like smoking a fine perfume, minus the hacking ofc, really takes it to next level in terms of smell/flavor.
Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants.
The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried
Cannabis flowers increase with a โNo Redโ light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from growspace for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers.

@felixthegrower, Yeah it was a once in a life time opportunity. It gives me the credentials of having produced some of the best cannabis in B.C and been at the highest level. So now doing a tutorial series & my own company people know I am not just blowing smoke, Pardon the pun :D
That way it gives me a bit more legitimacy than just being another tent grower on youtube commentating over a montage of less than optimally grown plant's, Passing it off as educational. I am actually here to teach people the how's, Why's and what for's.
@LegacyMarketFarm, I see it bro, it is really clear that you're a professional ๐ช๐ฑ
Congrats on this new chapter bro, I'm pretty sure that it'll be an amazing journey! I'll be watching and learning ๐
Gran trabajo!!
@Mrs_Larimar, This was my retirement grow at this facility. You can see the videos of it on our youtube page of me walking through the facility showing the operations for waking the one floor up and putting the other to sleep. I retired to make legacy market farm with my wife & now are building up our brand and reputation with these tutorial series and contributing to this community before we launch our own craft cannabis brand here in Canada. The next series is moving onto photoperiods & beginning the pheno hunt and mother hunt for our strain's on our menu we will be building out.
@Mrs_Larimar, Thank you! I look forward to seeing you over there and hearing your feedback. We have a long term plan of 2-3 years before going to market so the demand is in place before hand.
Did I read 7000 plants correctly bro?! ๐คฃ I bet this was a life stretch in trim jail ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ every one of them looking FIRE brother amazing job ๐ช๐ป๐ช๐ป
@Se7en616, Yeah lol, This diary was a pain to do because grow diaries wouldn't let me do 200 lights & the harvest plant count wouldn't go high enough XD. My wife & I lived on site and ran the day to day for 2 years, Prior to that we where the main plant techs for a year. Work crews would come up for the defoliations, take down & repopulation & the trim. 100 dollars per dry pound trimmed all hand trimmed by selected crew's.
It is why I feel I bring a different level of experience to the tutorial series that I am now doing having learned from someone who had his masters in horticulture and grew for 20+ years.
It was 3500 in pre veg 3500 in flower
@Se7en616, Also, There are videos of this grow on our youtube channel. I do a whole 15+ minute walk through of the morning routines of waking up 1 floor & putting the other to sleep.

Question Bud, you're using the Terpinator. How much are you using? The recommended amount? Less than this? Your reviews for this product made me go out and buy it to try it. I'm organic so this will technically make it not so anymore. But if it noticably increases the terps, I'm all in.
@PapaNugs, No worries my man! I hope you enjoy the results :) After a heavy feed in watering on these 2 floors the entire facility would just reek like terpinator oozing through the plants
@LegacyMarketFarm, wow! And my missus pulls her face when the 600's on 20hrs a day!! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ tidy little investment there tho! Mega impressed with the grow bud, proper goals to work towards! Would love nothing more than having enough plants to keep me busy every day! ๐คฃ๐คฃ Still much learning before then tho! Posts like this deffo help and get the inspirations goin tho! And nice of u to document such a big scale (I know a lot of people get paranoid while dealing with this amount of weight!) Think you got a lot of people drooling over these pics! And nice to see interaction on here off people as high scale as yourself within the business ๐
@Sider79, Thank you so much friend ! my wife & I lived on site and worked it 24/7. It was a once in a life time experience and something I will always be able to look back on and draw knowledge from when creating these tutorials that I feel most people dont have the perspective from due to the lack of experience scope.
@COUNTDOWN, I am glad you enjoyed the content. I thought it would be really interesting for a lot of people to see the in's and out's of how production works in a facility like this. It was an honor to be able to grow for the place & work there, I learned so so much. It is kind of funny the people, Or persons on here all 2 of them that are so insanely butt hurt and jealous that they try to say " it wasnt even his grow" like it is some kind of big deal when even from the first post every mention I have always thrown respect to the owners and made clear my role in this facility.
It is sad really because 1 of the people on here has a relatively large following but when you expose yourself for who you are, People will stop respecting you & caring about what you do. EVERYBODY else has appreciated & enjoyed this diary and to those people, Thank you for the amazing support.
@GYOweed, 100% fact. VERY hit or miss, The owner of this place I used to work lived on IG & spent tens of thousands of dollars on seeds from there randomly. Then planted them all sporadically and had us take care of them and never did anything with them, They all ended up going to complete waste & getting tossed out XD lol.
