Pretty bad results with germination. Starting off Money Shot got 5/5 (one dying weeks later) Purple Satellite only 2/12 still working on some that may have a chance and Anaphylaxis I got 2/4 to germinate but one died just after germination and one still hasn't developed fan leaves lol so pretty much 0/4. I think some of this was due to pest issues in the soil so I eventually germinated various other strains with the paper towel method with much better success although the purple satellites have still been stubborn.
Plants have been growing vigorously. Since the transplant a week ago they've quadrupled in size. Have been popping seeds over the past week and now have most of the space filled up just trying to get one or two more purple satellites to germinate which have been very stubborn- Ive tried soak in water, paper towel, abrasion with sandpaper, cutting off the ridge and am getting ready to just slice the things open haha. In two weeks this tent should be looking solid.
Pretty much ideal conditions at the moment, everything going smooth and the tent is filling out. Finally understanding what people mean when they say sativas are hard the grow, the purple satellite seedling has been growing an inch a day and just overall way more monstrous than the rest which will be difficult to work with especially in such a tight space.
Had a rough time in transportation, lost a branch or two but the plants are settled in now and will be ready for flower in a week or so as soon as the smallest plants have 4 nodes :)
Got the tent mostly filled out and flipped to flower. Things are looking happy and healthy for the most part but the smaller plants are starting to get shaded out. Should start seeing signs of sex on the reg seeds pretty soon so will be able to make a bit more space after that.
Flower is kicking off well and the tent is filling out. Im a bit anxious as to whether or not they can really flower out in the 1 gallons but all has been good so far. The male purple satellite has really been stretching, pretty sure its grown 2 inches per day since the flip. Im going to separate males soon before they dump pollen but will hopefully get some good seeds. I culled some of the weaklings to free up space and the whole thing should be smooth sailing soon.
Got all of the males out of the tent now and have started collecting pollen. I'll pollinate a branch or two on each plant some time in the next week. The females are doing well, probably would like more room for their roots but they're looking like they'll make it to the end in the 1 gallons.
Plants are in good health! think I might've overdone the fish shit cuz the big Money shot is showing what I think are signs of Nitrogen toxicity which surprise me I the 1 gallons. So now im planning on just doing plain water from here on out. I pollinated a branch of Money Shot #2, Pak Man, and Slurpeez with the Money Shot and Purple Satellite males and they're just now showing signs of being pregnant. Overall looking solid
the grow is on cruise control, everything is moving along smoothly. The plants have bee pretty thirsty, I've been watering with just plain water every 3 or so days. Only issue as of now is that its looking like they're all going to finish at different times and I don't have a separate tent to dry in so I'm not too sure how I'll deal with that.
Not too much to say, everything is coasting along smoothly. The Slurpeez looks like it will definitely be the first to finish, could probably come down in 2 weeks but the rest of the garden is looking like it will go a lot longer. I have the dry it all in the tent so I was thinking I could dry the first plants to come down in a cardboard box with airflow to block the light and try to drop the temperature below 70.
Not much to say, everything is looking great and really starting to fill out. Im starting to see a bit off a fade on a couple plants so the harvesting will probably begin in a week or two. Im thinking I'll try to drop the temperature as close to 60 as possible then dry under a cardboard box inside the tent to prevent any light damage. Not sure how well this will work haha
Looking good after going out of town for a week. Getting a little light burn so I dimmed them down a bit today. A Couple of the plants are just about ready to come down, so will probably start harvesting in the next couple days
I was about to start the harvest on the first few plants then thought I guess I should check the trichomes-turns out they aren't quite ready yet despite a couple of them looking pretty ripe so I will wait another week before I start chopping them down. I bought a mini evaporative cooling fan that's actually done a good job at getting the temperature down 5-10 degrees so I should be set for drying.
Harvested the first 3 plants and everything is looking good! looking to harvest the rest next week. Ghetto dry box appears to work although Im a bit worried about light penetration.
the final 5 plants came down at day 70. Everything is now either drying up or curing, should be some good smoke with some good variety. I think Im finally figuring out the photo techniques, and am excited about getting more into the photography side of things. Really stoked on this Cambodian x MB and Moneyshot.

Week 16. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!
Slurpeez - EZ bros genetics - Custom Breeder & Strain
This strain grew pretty well. it was pretty average speed in veg then in flower it was super quick. I harvested at day 56 but easily could have taken it down as early as 45 days. I made a couple crosses on the lower nugs of this plant, one with money shot and one with purple satellite and harvested roughly 60 seeds.
I started these late and they caught up to the rest of my plants so I gotta say they are pretty vigorous. Not too much lateral branching, they grow very sativa upright with large spacing. The first pheno I thought was going to be the winner based on the looks but I think I prefer the second now. Will have to smoke some more to know for sure. They both have similar smell, taste and high but they looked completely different from one another both in veg and in flower. pheno 1 appears to be the Cambodian leaner with a hybrid look in veg then complete sativa look starting in flower. pheno 2 was one of the most pretty plants I've ever seen in veg with beautiful deep green glossy thin 7 fingered leaflets but then in mid flower it started to look more mediocre. I have a feeling these are the types of plants that really benefit from a long cure and will only get better with time but we will see.
I hard a hard time growing this one but also expected nothing from it. I started this last minute then had a though time on germination so this plant was still a seedling off to a slow start while everything else was flipped to flower. This is also an auto flower so the 11/13 lighting cycle obviously was not ideal. I would love to grow this again under proper conditions. It was amazing it required essentially no trim and the quality actually came out pretty fantastic.
These plants grow easy and are very vigorous. very bushy with medium stretch and most phenos have dense frosty bud. lots of grape and blueberry aromas with some funk/fuel added in depending on the pheno. potent but mellow stuff. high bag appeal for sure.
This was very easy to grow. Its has a short bushy stature that's easy to control and never seemed to need too much nutrients to the point where I couldn't even get the plant to fade out before harvest. The buds have an airy fluffy structure but were covered in resin. Little odor just earthy and weedy.
