Got COVID during last weeks of grow so wasn't able to provide updates, but finally updating with harvest results. WOW, this strain smacks. What a fun strain to grow. Slow vegger probably didn't need as much LST as I gave her, but she really shined in flower with beautiful pink/purple coloring early on. Nice yielder with big golf ball sized nugs. Very potent strain with beautiful effects. I'd put this one at about 60/40 Indica leaning as it gives a nice body high thats slightly sedating but also very strong heady effects. I'm guessing THC on this one is 28%+.

Any ideas why newer growth on Slurricane looking pale/light green? Pre-veg soil test didn't show any deficiencies and was ammended properly. PH is in check water in typically 6.4-7.0. Plenty of calcium in soil. Feeding Micronutrients once weekly.

In new leaflets, chloroplasts (the part of the leaf that contains chlorophyll) are still in development. So newest growths don’t have as much chlorophyll as oldest, which means less green pigments. You’ll see them get greener as the chloroplasts will gone more mature.
