Dropped seven beans in pH'd dechlorinated water. Soaked for 24 hours. Then dropped beans directly in their final homes.
Two - 5 gal pots.
Five - 3 gal pots.
2/7 germinated in 3 days after planting.
5/7 germinated in 4 days after planting.
Official Start Date: 1/24/22.
100% germination.
10/10 seeds germinated from this batch. Shoutout to Seedsman!
Tent environmental condition is optimal at this stage. Averaging at 73.2F and 75%RH. Lights currently at 30% 200-300 ppfd across the grow area.
Note to self... Make sure soil is moist when prepping medium. Especially if using soil that has been in storage.
The ladies look alright after 7 days of growth.
I haven't watered them once... I may have over saturated the soil when I watered while the seeds were germinating.
Two of the seven doesn't look like they're going to make it. I'd hate to pull the plug on them... I'm not stressing over space right now, so I'll give them another week. Maybe they're just not in the cards this time around.
RH is keeping steady at 80%. Temp is averaging around 76F.
The ladies are vegging nicely. Gave them about 2 cups of water each, just outside where I think the root balls would be.
Two runts are still runts, though showing some life. Some crazy mutation going on here. All seven were germinated the same way. Medium are all the same across. Maybe just bad genetics?
This grow technically being my "second" grow, I'm feeling more confident on what to expect. I don't check up on them as much as my "first" which is about 3 weeks ahead.
Check out the Season 1.3 diary! =)
The ladies got to experience LST for the first time today (Day 18). Had some good growth this week.
Aside from Recharge, they haven't received any nutes. Just watering to runoff, then letting them do their thing.
Taking about 5 days in between watering. Very low maintenance these gals.
These ladies are nearing the end of week 4 (currently at Day 26). They received their first feeding of pre-flower nutes - FF Trio at a quarter dose. Added some CalMag and more Recharge. They seemed to have responded well.
These gals will be flowering soon, one of them is a bit ahead... she's one promiscuous gal.
They've taken well to the LST. They were mostly tied down and leaf tucked.
Did some very minor selective defol to open up the top canopy.
The two runts made it out alive, but they're obviously stunted. Just kept them in the tent anyways to fill-up the space.
More bud sites are popping everywhere. We're well into the pre-flower stage.
Ladies are drinking more and asking for some attention.
Gave the ladies light defo and LST'd one last time before they stretch.
They received another feeding, adding Open Sesame to the mix. They'll be receiving FF Flower nutes line up on top of the Trio.
Some ladies' leaves are showing discolorarion. Not too worried at the moment.. hoping they're just going through puberty and trying to adjust to womanhood. I'll keep a close eye on them for sure...
I'm experimenting with Recharge to circumvent any lockouts. I'll boost the microbes next watering and see how that goes.
One last thing... the runts. I topped both of them. Just because. The runtiest looks like she topped herself from germination. But they both actually lived... surprisingly. They are some tough mofos.
