these were freebie seeds from Seedsman seeds. popped them into my rapid rooter plugs and soaked them. humidity dome in place. 1 seed popped up after 24 hours. still waiting for the other two. I have never seen this before... i didn't externally start my seeds, just popped them right in the rapid rooter, the last two seeds tried to come up in search for light and wrapped around themselves and pinched the cotyledons off from the tap root. and just like that there was only one.

Stick with photoperiod plants, autos aren't all they're cracked up to be.

One of the things you might want to consider is adding some microbes to your next watering... What those guys do is to create a magnificent environment for your roots and keeps the roots able to take in nutrients (i.e., avoid lockout!). I do 1tsp Microbes (I use FoxFarm) per gallon of water and I add 1 tsp of molasses per gallon as well... the molasses helps feed the microbes so they can do their work. And, btw, I hope the 2-gallon container is your final pot... autos do NOT like being transplanted! If you've potted into a fabric pot and want a larger one later, just put the entire pot into the larger one with your soil surrounding it... the roots will grow right through the fabric and you won't have disturbed the plant! ๐Ÿ˜€ Good luck with your grow... she looks really good for 1 week old!

I'll just say you should experiment with the size of your pots... personally, for the space I have available, I like 3 gallon pots - but I'm trying a grow now where 2 plants are in the 3 gallons and 2 (same strain) are in 5 gallon pots... I want to see if the larger pots produce a larger yield! My first grow was in 3 gallon fabric pots and the root ball was so incredibly dense when I harvested, I tried to get it out of the pot just to look at it... it was impossible! This is why I went with a test of 5 gallon pots - especially since I know the roots need good oxygen levels and packed pots probably hinder that. Just my two cents! It really depends on the space you have available!
