Here we go Bruce banner!
I won these seeds in the summer; I have no experience with Bruce banner at all.
I hope these will be strong seeds , with a heavy yields 🤞
I’ve got them all nestled into their seedling container, I’ll watch very closely for length of root so that I can get them into their 4.5 litre buckets as soon as possible.
I find it very hard to keep the conditions stable in a nursery container that is so small.
It is obvious which is the stinger sister coming out of the seed; hopefully little sister will keep up and perform well.
The larger seedling I’ve decided to name Ursula; goddess of the sea.
The smaller is Ghanima, which means “soils of war” in Arabic , named for the daughter of Maud’Dib.
I have high hopes for these little beauties 💜
So… some of the hydrocorn fell out of the net pots into the reservoir for about 24 hours, more Ursulas container than in ghanimas.
You can see how that had affected them, the damage was done very quickly and has since been rectified.
Hopefully that puts an end to the burn you see here.
They seem to be happy with the change from the nursery container to the 4.5 litre buckets, the hydrocorn soak however; not so much 💀
This week we’ve noticed a good amount of growth from these ladies.
Today we changed our solution to 4 ml/l for the micros A and B , dropped the voodoo juice, and the B52 stays the same.
Ursula seems to be growing out of the damage that was done by the hydrocorn soak, I have continued to defoliate her damaged leaves.
Ghanima is plump and cute, about 2 inches shorter than Ursula at the moment.
So far both of them have a beautiful deep emerald green colour; my favourite 💚
These girls are starting to change, and quickly.
Today I put these ladies into their 48 litre circulated tubs, tons of leg room for them to grow into. This is where they will flower out.
Ursula is tall and looking strong; Ghanima is beautiful and formidable.
They are now on a completely different set of nutrients; connoisseur bloom A & B as a micro, and all the week one additives.
I’m excited to see how these ladies progress and I hope for the absolute best! 💚
These ladies have suffered :(
So a few days after giving them bloom nutrients; they got root rot.
So I purged my tank, flushed and sterilized my reservoirs and all my tools.
I gently rinsed off the rot and soaked them in a solution of 3% H202 and water.
When I reintroduced them into their tanks I did with revive, voodoo juice and tarantula, hopefully some beneficial microbes will help the issue.
Well; since last weeks brush with root rot, we saw some recovery.
Things were looking good, we got some new air supply; we really dressed our lids to completely shut out any light penetration and keep temperatures low, roots recovered some and the plants said they were ready for some real food.
I gave them half strength micro and additives; two days later… root rot again.
So rinse and repeat; soak in H202 water solution, really wash those roots, sterilize the system, new water pump!
Really trying to pull out every stop here for these ladies.
It’s been just over 24 hours since my last fight; I have half micro, big bud, and a little bit of 3% H202, so far so good, things seem to be stabilizing.
I hope we can kick this and continue 💀💜
I culled these girls this week; one week without recovery and no root regeneration is enough, I can’t waste time and nutrients on plants that aren’t making an effort to regenerate; judging on the one seed from this pack I put into soil, this may have been a dud batch of genetics; rotten luck but we’ll be starting something new very soon
I’m sorry to see these two go; it’s easy to get attached. ❤️
