They both need another 3 weeks.. I don't know if plant 1 has that much life in her though. She needs to survive at least another 2 weeks. Her leaves are getting wrecked quick though.. hopefully she can fight on. Plant 2 is really living up to its name.. it is short but very stocky. You can't see it through all the foliage but there are a lot of buds coming on her.. especially considering how much I messed her up at the start

Grow Questions

The crystal meth has started going yellow very fast. The buds still have at least 2 weeks of growth needed to fatten out and pack the trichomes with thc.. I know it is normal to start dying but isn't this a bit early? Should I let her keep going as long as sugar leaves are alive?

Firstly. Idk where you are getting they have 2 weeks left? They aren't even flowering 2wks. Flowering period isis 45-55 days or around that range for auto at min they need at least 35 days of flowering. And yeah, it's not showing late signs you are only in early stages of flowering and what you are using Westland I've used, it's only good enough for 5-6wks of grow and that's now showing in your plant. And the fact that it's missing PK it's showing that now in spades. You need a bloom nute and with autos and their ruderails you'll also need a micro nute. Good luck pal

That is a shame about the Crystal looking so scraggly and sick... But you have one or two good buds by the looks of things..! The royal dwarf is looking good and healthy. Looks like a few good buds forming up and down the stem :D

@Namlah,You're welcome :D Bags are good for stuff like potatoes and carrots and other roots, maybe tomatoes and peas. I guess it is a cheap and quick version of a raised bed. When you take the plant out, it would be interesting to look in the bag and see if you are right about the water pooling or to see if it is very muddy. It's all a learning experience, and we learn best from mistakes and fails - when they are all done, we get it good and don't have to think twice! :D

@@Teh_Saccade, that makes sense.. and perhaps there is a slight gradient pushing all that moisture to the right which is why the left plant did well and the right one really suffered. As dumb as it sounds - I didn't think it would make a difference. But in the future I will definitely grow only in pots and not straight from the bag! Thanks for the advice and help!

@Namlah, When a plant goes yellow like that, it is the chlorophyll vanishing from the leaf. It is usually because of over-watering (also due to poor roots, which get the water) or, less often, over-feeding. It might be that planting it straight into the bag is what was the problem - there's no way for water to evaporate to easily or air to circulate, so perhaps it is all soggy and rotting in the bottom of the bag? When the water squirts in, it is not checking if it actually needs more water or not. There's also not much space for roots to develop in a bag like this. They can not be so deep at all. Even tomatoes I do not grow from bags like this - they always do better in a planter with the surface open. The bags always end up all gunky like mud. I'm not sure why you chose to not put the plants into their own pots and instead keep the bag like this with them together, but I hope that you get something from the Crystal..! I would say to pinch off the yellow leaves, but it looks like they have all turned yellow :(

Hi! I'd like to ask how you germinated the Royal Dwarf? Did you just put it in the bag straight off..?
Namlah
Namlahcommented3 years ago
@@Teh_Saccade, all my grows I germinate the same way. I wet some tissue and put the seed on the tissue then fold it to cover the seed. I keep the seed in this wet tissue until the root is fully out - then I bury it in the soil. Why do you ask mate?
