This is my first time playing with aeroponics. I started with this seedling I had started just for this grow. It is a fast buds gorilla glue auto. Should be a fun one. Please feel free to leave any advise. I added the fertilizer per recommendation by labeling of 10ml per gallon and it is in a 1 gallon bucket. With a micro nutrient teabag made and set in the bottom of the bucket with the air pump.
Not a lot of change still settling into its home. Except for the roots. They have grown almost 6” into the bucket in just 1 week. Pretty amazing! It is on its regular feeding schedule. I listed what’s in the mix above but I’m following the fox farms nutrients chart. If anyone would like a copy I posted it in the pics above it really is a good chart. I also found a common issues chart online. I posted it as well in the photos.
She is doing very well her roots have exploded and she has doubled in size she is the same size as another that is a soil grow and and it is a full week older. So far so good keeping my fingers crossed. Please like and follow if you enjoy watching it I try to update twice a week if work lets me. Check out my other grows. I might be able to top her next week we will see. I want a little more growth on both ends first. She really looks great for 2 weeks old.
Topped plant 2 days ago and she is really taking off. The roots have gone crazy and she is sucking nutrients from the solution fast have to top the tank off every 2 days. She has made her home and about to start stretching. I topped it in a way to maximize the colas should be 4-6 mains no secondary’s I plan on removing them early so all nutes go to the main ones.
The topping went very well she never stopped. She started to flower on 2/17 right on schedule with an auto. She has been switched to the same grow chamber as the rest of the flowering plants I have since she has went to flower and so she can stretch her wings it is 8ft tall in there so she can grow till she takes over and rules the world hahahah. Not really she is going great and has been a lot of fun learning this new method. Thanks for the love and take a look at my other grows.
@2highforu, when I moved her from her original soil home and transplanted into the hydro set up it did slow down for about 2 days while the roots started to stretch I transplanted the first week of vegetation after she started stacking nodes. She has been a very robust plant takes stressful situations well.
@2highforu, yes and I usually wait till around the sixth nodes appear then I take it right above the fourth node. Only seems to stunt if take before the fifth node appears and yes severely stunts. You could loose two weeks on the stunt.
