Week 7 flowering
Stopped feeding my plants, watering with plain water
They really seem to fatten up sience last week π
Brain cake disapointingly small harvest it's gonna be, seems to need a lot longer vegetative period. With the other plants im near happy as it seems now. Brain Cake also hevily overwatered due to drainage issues, bucket under filling up ππ
Can't wait to get to sample these.
Hairs starting to turn brown, so i think 2-3 more weeks. Need to find my loop so i can check trhichomes in 2~ weeks. I think it could also take 4 weeks before chop, lets see what happens.
Have a nice one growmies! π

Im using BioBizz All-mix soil, Don't want to switch to coco coz im pretty sure this tastes as good, Also soil isn't that pricy. Also the easinyezz of everything needs water once per day, in the morning just when the lights have come on. If growing bigger plants i water once per 2 days, but give much more at that time.
About my flush wich have raised concern in 2 growmies, i'll just paste from https://www.growweedeasy.com/flushing
Soil Growers Flush 1-2+ Weeks β Soil growers should flush the longest, from 1-2 weeks. This is because there is still some amount of nutrients left in the soil. For super soil growers who havenβt used any nutrients from seed to harvest, you donβt have to worry about flushing because youβve been giving plain water from the beginning. Your microorganisms in the soil have fed nutrients directly to your plants as needed, and itβs very unlikely you have any type of nutrient build-up.

70/(44) - Seems like Brain Cake bud is going a bit purple, would be nice if it were purpelichious too π Fingers Crossed it will turn mo'sre
71/(45) - Hairs turning brown on every plant, let's see when they enough to bring out the loupe. Purple Sugar Breath almoast ready, the other green pheno seems thricomier but takes longer to finish (Hard to say, both are full of thrichomes). Brain Cake had the longes flowering period but this pheno seems to finnish alot faster than 65~ days. Wedding Gelato almoast ready also, this should have been the fastest, and may hold up to it! Took two testers to dry for 4/20/2022 so i get some primo for weed day (Purple Sugar & Wedding Gelato). Think all will be near ready untill May The Fourth be with you! π
73/(47) - Added pictures, all ready for week 8 of flowering
Beautiful plants!
Your spot on with the flushing, that is my understanding as well. Water soluble nutrients more often than not will leave behind leftover salts that the plant wasnβt or isnβt able to use, these same salts also cause a gradual drop in pH as they build up, threatening a lockout if it gets too bad. At least thatβs my understanding.
@LoganatorDude, Thanks for stopping by! Yes that's also my understanding, also been doing this like this for 5~years or more. So nice when the taste is smooth and it feels near mint..
A bit overwatered but thats to tweak for next gro. (the one plant is in moss as my biobizz run out -Brain Cake), actually 2 plants are in plastic cotainers&" moss biobizz mix" due to my other cloth pots were frozen to the ground and i didn't want to go to hydro store/order more of them. Next gro everything is in the 25l cloth pots because they breath much better!
Please stay tuned for harvest pictures in 2-4 weeks π
Hiya π·βοΈ ,
All this looks like will be pretty good smoke π ,
I do rekon ditch the soil bro , grab some coco and high vertigate+drain, hyping up the feed schedule in later veg and into wk 4 flower, u should then have some absolute monsters in ya closet @wk10ππ·βοΈ ...
Ya just cant feed or correct the beasts enough in soil/indoors/drain quickly enough, really if on soils indoor just take your time double the timeframes and u good ππ .
Anyways looks pretty decent πππ·
@Medical_Cannabis_Australia, Thanks for stopping by π Harvest pictures in 3-4 weeks π
Bud size happens weeks 2-4 when buds evolve and the hairs starts to grow.
Here is also helpful RQS information about flushing, should begin in week 6 if 8 week strain. (this is 8-9 week strain)

Here is what i replied to an other user about giving much nutes(I use BioBizz All mix will test coco sometime but this is so easy):

@Growlady, There is plenty of nutrients in the soil after everything. Smoke is just so smooth when they have time to use up everything.
Please check back in 4 weeks and see that the flowers are dense and full of Thrichomes, just a bit "lighter fed. Also taste will be better than envoking full usage of nutrients.
I don't either like to sponsor the nutrient brands that much, if you feed your plants much they will withake much, if you feed light it get's used to it. But yea, there is a bit deficiencies shown on Brain Cake. But im fine with it.
Also proper "fall" should be in every growers room. (The colors/deficiencies). This is the normal way what happens outside in the nature. No vegetable is full blown with nutrients their whole living cycle!
But there is debate wich school is better. -I choose the cheaper, not so nutritious way. That taste superb! π -I don't flush in the normal scent, just stop feeding them nutrients and water them only for the last 3-4~ weeks

@MrVogelfutter, Thanks! A few weeks more vegetative growth is what would have been needed, i do not have the time this spring. Next fall i have better time to vegetate my Ripper Seeds Limited strains.. Also using my larger Mars TS 3000 lamp too.. But this works good as summer stock π. Thanks for stopping by, please check harvest pictures in about 3-5 weeks.. Depends on the thrichomes
@XII_XII_EarlyRaver, Thanks Bro! Now the Finish line is already visible! Only 3-4 weeks and it feels like im going to have a nice summer enjoing these π. Please stop by to check harvest details!!
Good luck with your grow but you will get loads better results if you let them flower longer I think you will need a good 3 or 4 weeks yet before you flush

@JohnnyBarrel, Thanks! Would have been nice to vegetate longer. But we are on a tight schedule here.. Atleast i have time now to flower them properly. Think i'll go for 10 weeks flowering period π
Hiya βοΈπ ,
I hear ya on the nutes,
lol please dont think im a heavy nutes+additives kinda dude, and im stingy too ,
i make 10-15lt batches of nutes,at a time, use it all, then make more next time, a 1lt bottle of a+b last me 2 grows, 90 for 5l bottle or prob 10 grows ? , im usually under in measures and only really use a generic coco A+B (hy-gen), i do use aloevate till late flower, and marine cal mag in varying amounts throughout, only other product is purecrop(foliar) throughout.. then a 7 day flush, iv also fully reused the same coco for 18mths, which was 35 for 50l , so a once off 70bux ages ago for coco and 90 for the core supply of ya nutes for 2.5 yrs , combine with a modern 200watter quantum led board, some modern effecient fans,
lol we need mouse for the precise specs here π§βοΈππ , but it adds up to being able to live a little ππ
i did see your on soils, so i got it βοΈπ , each their own i spose , and there a 1000 ways to do it blah blah blabbitty but its kinda time for soil+indoors to fade,
COCO tastes cleaner and it stands alone qualitywise way more than dirt in alot of peoples opinion, is quicker to grow in, looks the same for the classic garden look, is clean, basicly is the same to use just more effecient, is 100% hydroponic, doesnt break down/dissapear, only coco i lose is what blows away or i drop,is 1000 times quicker,
Ahhh the colours conundrum, my last grow was in 35'c (summer) so i dont see alot of purpz, but that same plant in winter, where i can get as low as 10'c , its a rainbow of colour,
i also have strains that without even flushing look nearly dead by the end, and some that just refuse to lose a single leaf and stay completly green right to the leaf tip.
I agree your dudleys look fantastic to smoke. Lol and im jelly thinking bout that breath thing ohhh and that gelato.. ππ€ππ€―ππ
Lol check my last summer braincake, its nearly 1.5m tall and chunk , πswap u a nuggie for a nugg of that gelato or breath shit ,
not much purps but nice yellowing patterns on the leaf, they were all the same age, lemon ice stays kinda green
My friend βοΈπ ill put a cake in for winter, for the colour π·πfor you next
@@GreenGlowes,
Love this ,
I believe we agree πβοΈ , in super soil nutes have been fed as the plant needed it,
same as ever other method, u provide the nutes it takes what it wants at that moment, and there is some left in soil , if there is strong full strength nutes+additives in ""media"" u have to be carefull reusing it immediately with young plants, without flushing first then u can reuse it ,
@Medical_Cannabis_Australia, Well everyone does as they want, i said that there is two schools in this π , Ive always done it this way and it seems to work for me,
One friend who used biobizz feed schedule to the nut, and gave till the end. He's flower tasted harsh & i don't want that π.
But yea, everyone is able to grow in anyway they want, thats the beauty. I prefer wormcasting&soil&perlite as my medium.. Then i use organic nutes, with bloom boosters. The results are awesome, Hope you have a nice one and please be back to check harvest pictures in 3-4~ weeks π

@@GreenGlowes,
Love this ππ ,
Do dinafem or rqs have annny interests in nutrient companys?
There a study by canna ? Or someone big , saying they found no difference in any levels, or smoke tests , but then found that 1 week was optimal for something else ??
It actually seemed like a speil to keep u using the nutes just abit more,
Yeh i spose looking back i did used to flush on plain water for 10 days - 2 weeks sorta , but i do use kyrstal klear and its a week ( sorry i forgot that before π€―βοΈ) , i assumed it busts up any salts,
Iv pulled with no flush and its been 100% perfect , it was really fully mature buds tho was really good smoke βοΈ , small young buds unflushed are bad ππ ...
But big outdoors gnarly beasts in soil naturally, not in a pot in the ground, how does mother flush those , id fancy they actually get fed more due to size of leaf+stems holding back, roots running free ,and late in the cycle dead leaves dropping at base and d3composing back in near top roots,
i spose winter and rain flushes abit but we get our rain in summer too ππ ..
I also thought that really the flush was just a hydro thing, save a tiny touch on nutes but to make immediately reuseing your media easier next time, like your cleaning the media in the last week, so when u rip them out u can use the media right away with young little plants+roots ..
It gotta be neglible amount of sugars what is stored in the plant in late flower, as the minerals/whathaveyou should be converted by the roots and regulated by the plant or left unused in the media, where salt buildups and lockout can happen, lol sorta the plant doesnt want that much this today it wants that stuff abit more, but now it doesnt, as it in late flower it knew it was dying 100%ππ
