Soaked seed for a bit more than 24 hours and put in 1 litre pot with 100% BioBizz All-Mix.
Day 1 - Spent first day in soil outdoors as my tent was still full of drying buds.
Day 2 - Light schedule set to 18-6. Still no seedling showing through soil.
Day 4 - Seedling showing through soil, let the fun times roll!!! :)
Day 5 - Plant lost the seed shell. We seem to have a tri-leafed seedling. Will upload photos later as did not have my phone with me.
Day 6 - Seedling growing nicely. Third leaf does seem to have some kind of problem. Looks like it still lacks chlorophyll around the tip. Interested to see how this lady develops. A mutant on my 2nd grow. Feeling kind of lucky :)
Day 8 - Seedling seems to be doing just fine. The tri-leaf mutation seems to have reverted to normal growth as only two "first true" leaves are showing as of now. Watered her yesterday with 100ml of bottled water.
Day 10 - Seedling doing great! Tri-leaf mutation reverted back to normal. Only 3 cotyledons and a slightly deformed "first true" leaf remain. Would have been interested to see the mutation develop for at least a bit longer, but she still going to be loved unconditionally! :) Watered again with around 100ml of bottled water and switched on the oscillating fan to harden those stems.
Day 12 - This lady seems to be more thirsty than the Purple Punch Auto growing next to her. This morning I found the top of the soil quite dry so I watered and misted her. She is still growing nicely.
Hello guys not really a problem, more of a question. Any feedback on Plagron's AlgaGrow and AlgaBloom? Thinking of trying them out on top of my homemade living soil. Thanks in advance.
I would go with Bio Vega and Bio Flores made by Bio Canna, both are well tested and well proven by me and made by a company that has decades of experience making cannabis specific products.
These are organic, no doubt an important consideration if you are interested in growing with "livig soil".

Day 15 - Plant seems to be loving life. Third set of leaves showing. No signs of side branches yet. Watered her yesterday with 100ml of bottled water.
Day 17 - Transplanted in 7gallon pot with 20litres BioBizz All-Mix, 2litres Plagron worm castings, 1litre month old rabbit manure and 0.5l cow manure pellets. Used Mycorrhizae to help with the transplant shock and to kick-start life in the home made living soil. Watered everything in with 3litres of bottled water with minimal run-off. Will put on second light in about 2 days to give these ladies some time to recover from any transplant shock.
Day 18 - Used nutrients for the first time. Gave them half-strength doses of both Bio-Grow and Fish-mix. Plants seem to have no effects when it comes to the transplant. Gave first round of LST to reduce general length of plant. Switched on second light, now each plant has a dedicated 100W of light.
Day 19 - Noticed some form of growth under the cotyledon leaves! They seem like the beginnings of two side branches but I never imagined that cannabis could do this. Check photos if you cannot imagine what I mean, quite unbelievable actually! If anyone ever experienced anything like this or has some explanation please do tell.
But other than that everything seems in order. She recovered from transplant, side branches started developing as well. Really happy with how she's doing.
Day 21 - This C4 lady is doing fantastic. I cannot say anything about her except hoping she (I mean me 😅) stays on the right track. Main branch and all side nodes are growing daily. The two "mutant" nodes growing from under the cotyledon level are also growing daily! She is a very vigorous woman! Will water tomorrow with half doses of BioGrow and Fish-Mix to keep the whole soil ecosystem happy.
Day 22 - Watered her with 1 litre bottled water and mixed 0.5ml of BioBizz BioGrow and 0.5ml of BioBizz Fish-Mix. Bent main stem downwards again to start training her in a hopefully even canopy. She is growing beautifully. Vegetative period in full swing! Leaves went from having 3 blades straight to having 7 blades! She is showing great vigour. Side branches also keep developing daily. Hope she keeps on this track!
Day 24 - Happy women's Day to all the ladies in the world! Human, animal and plant alike!!! Did some more LST and some light defoliation (2 fan leaves) to remove leaves touching the substrate and expose side branches to more light. She is growing like a beast. Taking the nutrients like a champ. Thinking of going full strength next watering to give her as much strength as possible in the last days of vegetation before she starts to flower and I'll have to slowly switch to flower nutrients. I am really happy with the way she is developing.
Day 26 - Performed some more LST and light defoliation on this lady. Also removed the 3 lowest side branches. The two "mutant ones" plus the one on top that ended up pointing downwards due to LST. From a previous experience I know that these branches would never reach the top of the canopy and produce fluffier buds so might as well chop now. Other than that she is still growing like a treat! 🙂
Day 28 - First signs of flower! Did some more LST and moved some leaves around to try to expose as much tops as possible without defoliation. She will soon need watering. Will slowly transition to flowering nutrients next grow week.
Day 30 - Watered her yesterday with 1ml BioBizz BioGrow and 1ml BioBizz BioBloom in 2 litres of bottled water. Today performed some more LST and light defoliation to create an even canopy and expose as much growth tips to more light. More pistils showing on the main stem and on some side branches. She is still growing like a beast!
Day 34 - Watered her again with 2ml of BioBizz BioGrow and 2ml of BioBizz BioBloom in 2 litres of bottled water. She looks like she might start stretching as internodal space looks taller. Still growing everyday with lower branching developing nicely. Will lollipop after stretch phase to avoid any fluffy lower buds. I learned my lesson from the previous grow. 🙂
Day 35 - This girl started stretching! Going to let her stretch out for a bit before I do some lollipoping to try and avoid any larf. Planning to keep only top-most buds and focus all the plant's energy on them.
Day 36 - This lady is not stretching as much as my last auto grow so far. I am pretty sure she has more stretch in her but after a small initial stretch bump it seems like she stopped. Vegetative growth still on point with all nodes putting out side branches. Did some LST and some more LIGHT defoliation (removed 3 fan leaves) to expose growth tips to more light. White pistils popping out of nodes here and there! ☺️
So on another note, currently facing a bit of a fungus gnat problem but top soil is never moist for more than 1 day whenever I water. Placed yellow sticky strips to try reduce them fuckers as they are a nuisance!
Day 37 - Today only some light canopy maintenance via LST and light defoliation. She started stretching again 😅
Day 41 - Watered with 1 litre of plain bottled water to give her a short break from nutrients. She is in full stretch swing. Everything going as it should.
Day 44 - Plant's lower third was cleaned up properly now removing any leaves and side branches that would not have given nothing substantial come harvest. Watered her with 2 litres of water plus nutrients listed above. Nodes filling up with white hairs now. Let the proper fun begin with this lady!
Fungus gnat problem seems to be correcting itself since I removed a lot of plant mass and installed the yellow sticky pads. Other than that, everything seems dandy... 😃
Day 48 - Watered her again with 2 litres of water adding nutrients listed above. She is up taking water faster now. Most bud growth and a few small new "sugar leaves" turning purple slowly slowly. Smelled bud growth today; hints of mild sweet citrus and berries. This is exciting! Stretch slowed down, still has not stopped though! I am really happy with how this plant is growing.
Day 51 - Watered this beauty with 2 litres of plain water. Bud sites keep turning purple and trichomes are increasing around bud sites. She smells fruity currently, very mild in smell. You have to touch her to actually smell something. But keep in mind she still has a long ways to go and develop into her true self!
Day 59 - Watered with 2 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Cut out both BioBizz BioGrow and BioBizz Fish-Mix. Giving her only BioBizz BioBloom from now until I start flushing. Buds started to swell, some pistils are turning orange but other white new ones are popping out everyday. Buds have a deep purple colour with some lighter highlights here and there. She smells like artificial sweet candy, reminds me of childhood sweets but I cannot pinpoint which one exactly! 😅
Removed a couple of fan leaves that were blocking light to bud sites. Other than that it's easy work from now on. Thinking she still needs around 3 weeks. Scoped her for the first time, most trichomes are still very small and clear with a very few cloudy ones.
Day 68 - She is getting close. Most pistils turned orange and buds are swelling up. Most buds are rock hard. All buds have a deep purple colour with some lighter hues here and there. Trichomes are still mostly clear but also swelling up and turning cloudy. Gave her a proper flush in the shower today and she stank the whole apartment 🤣🤣🤣
She smells like the slightly sour jelly babies we used to buy locally as kids. Sometimes I get a hint of clove when I move the plant and all buds swing around. Can't wait to taste her!
Day 73 - She is getting close!!! Rock hard buds, full of sticky resin that smells so sweet and sour at the same time! Trichomes are 50% cloudy, scoping everyday to cut at peak potency. Watered her with two litres of water to keep the flush going.
