Feb 06 Soaked seeds for 18 hrs in cup of water. placed in paper towel and let sit over night. All 10 popped open and tail roots came out. placed in jiffy seed pods with a tiny amount of growth plus added and placed in humidity dome with small light above, as well as heat mat below. Holding humidity around 85% with temp at 27. Waiting too see how many sprout. Feb 07 Forgot to set my timer on the light, they ended up with 12 hours of darkness, lots of growth in all 10, three of them have discarded shells. some have grown long with not very strong stalks so I am hoping with light on them for the night they strengthen up or I may have to manually stand them up. I added some water to the bottom of the humidity dome as my humidity dropped to 72% while at work. I have had a lot of issue in past grows with killing them at this point by over watering so im being very cautious this time. Feb 8 Set the timer to 18hrs on. all had lost their shells besides three, I manually removed those ones except for one that is still not opened enough. The long drooping ones are the ones i was able to remove the shells from. I unplugged the heat mat before work and temps stayed around 26 during the night cycle, humidity dropped to 70% So I added more water. Im planning on starting to slowly lower the humidity in the next few days to get them ready for their next grow area. Feb 9 Growing conditions have stayed the same. I have a few plants that cannot support themselves yet, hoping they will strengthen up. No water added today. Feb 10 They have been stretching too much and not being able to support themselves, im guessing the seed light is to weak. So today i moved them into the next area which is the stealthbox. Installed supports on them and will blast them with a stronger light too see what happens. Gave them some direct water today instead of adding the pan of the humidity dome. Feb 11 Most of them have stretched to much to support themselves.
