Germination Process
Day 1 05/02/2022- Soaked seeds for about 18 hours
Day 2 06/02/2022- Moved seeds onto paper towels.
Day 3 07/02/2022- Seeds are starting to crack open, showing root.
Day 4 08/02/2022- Seeds doing great at the moment, by tomorrow will place them in their pots.
Lets see how it goes 😌
Day 1 of vegetation 09/02
The Mimosa Evo was ready by last night with their roots popping out a few inches so I placed them in cups, when they will be ready I will move them in their final pots.
Now we wait for them to come above the soil and show themselves. 😀
The rest of the strains which are the auto's are also ready with their roots popping out, so I will place them in their final pots.
I will be using 19L fabric pots for this grow, both types, Auto's and Fem.
I placed another cup on top of each cup to have about 65% to 70% humidity for the seedlings since I don't have a humidifier and they enjoy more humidity at the moment. :)
Fingers crossed all goes well 🙏
Day 2 10/02
The little ones still haven't showed themselves :) Just keeping the soil moist by spraying them every 6 to 8 hours with PH 6.8 by tomorrow we should see them coming out of the soil.
Day 3 11/02
Happy day today!! The Mimosa Evo showed themselves, 8 out of 10 have sprouted, so far so good 😌 We should see the autos in the weekend sprout as well.
Day 4 12/02
Mimosa Evo are doing great. The auto's are starting to show themselves too.
Day 5 13/02
5 of the pots have not sprout yet, will wait and see.
Day 6 14/02
Mimosa look stronger day by day and some of the auto's looking good too. Nothing from those 5 pots yet that did not sprout.
Day 7 15/02
End of the first week of veg, seedlings looking good, just a few are turning a little yellow, must be lack of Nitrogen. Mixed small dose of nutrients in a 1.5l bottle and then sprayed them.
we will wait and see how they react to it.
Day 8 16/02 Second week of veg
One week past, Mimosa evo looking very good, Critical Kush auto as well, Gorilla cookies auto has a slow grow at the moment, we will see how it goes in this upcoming week.
4 out of 5 orange sherbet auto are looking good, one of them did not sprout. Lets see how it goes. Today gave them also a small dose of cal/mag.
End of the 2nd week of veg and all looks pretty good, I was busy this week with work so I couldn't really keep my diary up to date. All I was doing for this week was watering them with PH 6.5.
Also the Mimosa Evo I have repotted them to their final pots.
3rd week of Veg
Day 18 26/02
I'm very happy how they are growing so far they look healthy so lets keep it this way 😁
Today I gave them nutrients, I mixed the nutes in 8ltr bucket of water, had to be a dose of 16ml of each nutrient and gave 2 cups to each plant.
Excited to see how they will go this week, all good so far.
Day 21 01/03
Its been 3 days after their feeding, they are growing day by day strong and healthy :)
I used LST on some of the auto's, some of them are still not ready for LST, by the end of this week they should be.
For the Mimosa Evo I used Topping technique on their 3rd node.
Also gave them water with PH 6.5 about 3 to 4 cups each
Day 24 04/03
Another 3 days past and they are rapidly growing. Mimosa Evo has been 3 days since there topping and they are already showing signs of recovery.
Today I used LST on all of the auto's. The critical kush auto that I used LST on them 3 days ago are doing very good, I also cut the fan leaf that blocks the light from the bottom stems and now they are stretching for the light 😌
I gave them their nutrients today same dose as before I haven't raised it yet, probably next feeding I will.
Day 31 11/03
Getting into the 4th week of veg and these girls are doing great.
The auto strains are showing white pistils so they are getting into the flowering phase. They look like they got a hung of the LST especially the Critical Kush auto, she has some thick stems.
Overall I'm happy with all the autos.
Mimosa Evo had there topping I also used LST on them to help the bottom colas spread out evenly. Some of the girls showed deficiencies of Nitrogen so I have gave them another round of feeding today with a raised dosage.
For the Mimosa evo its the 5th week of veg overall they are doing great. Had some issues with some of them, with deficiencies gave them what they need. For the ones that are fully healthy I gave them the second topping and a little of defoliation.
Today I gave a round of nutrients to the Mimosa Evo.
Yesterday I gave a round of nutrients to the Auto's and some defoliation.
29/03/2022
6th week of Veg for the Mimosa Evo
Previous week I gave them their second topping, not on all of the plants, just the ones that looked stronger. After a week of their recovery
they were bushy so I gave them a good defoliation and I also cut off those shoots that would have been a waste of energy in the flowering phase.
Now I am waiting for them to recover.
The Auto's I gave them a good defoliation, tied some of the colas down, gave them their feeding also some Cal/mag. They are starting to need more Cal/mag now that they are flowering.
I will wait for them to recover from their defoliation and we will see how they will go.
04/04/2022
6 days gone and the auto's are packing up 😋 I lowered the lights gave them a round of nutrients and a dose of cal-mag. Its going to be the 3rd week of flower for them starting tomorrow.
The Mimosa Evo I gave them a round of nutrients as well, I placed a scrog net to even the canopy. Im not very happy with the type of scrog net I used but it will do its job.
11/04/2022
Getting in the 7th week of Veg for the Mimosa Evo and they look good. I removed the scrog net because it was not a good quality net but, it did actually do some work. I gave them a really good defoliation because they were very bushy and I removed a lot of stems that were going to be a waste of energy for the bud development when they will be flipped to flower. I gave them 4tbsp of worm casting and 4tbsp of Mykos. Now I will just give them water until they fully recover and see what else they will need. I will not flip until the auto's are done so that gives me time to train them a little more.
The auto's are looking great and are packing up pretty good and the smell is amazing. You can feel that sweetness and fruity air once you open the tent. 😁 I gave them 4tbsp of worm castings, 4 tbsp of Mykos and a dose of Monster bloom PK 50-30 1ltr each plant. I cant wait for the end results on these auto's.
For the Auto's, Harvest day is not far, I gave them a dose of micro, cal/mag and monster bloom pk 50-30. I checked the trichomes, some of these girls can be flushed but I gave them their final round of nutes and in a week I should flush. The smell of the Orange sherbet is amazing, you can feel the orange and sour all over the growroom. Gorilla cookies have a fruity and creamy smell its a bit of a mess with all these beautiful smells. 😋
The Mimosa Evo I gave them another round of nutes and also some defoliation. They look ready to flip to 12/12 but ill let them another week or two max and then I will flip.
04-05-2022
This is now the 9th week of Veg for the Mimosa Evo, They fully recovered from the previous defoliation I gave them and they even got taller. They are ready to flip but I will wait until the auto's are harvested.
For the auto's I already gave them their second flush but they need more, I checked the EC and it is still very high. (1700ppm) The trichomes are already cloudy so by next week I will have them drop to
300-700ppm and then Harvest day. The only ones from the auto's that need a few more weeks are the Critical kush, the others are good to go. 😎
About the smell it's out of this world, there is tangerine and sour and creamy all over the place, Cant wait to give it a taste too. 😋
12-05-2022
For the Mimosa Evo I have gave them a high defoliation again and removed some stems that would be a waist of energy in the flowering phase. I also watered them until they make a good drainage so the roots will clear from the nutrients I gave for Vegetation phase. Once they recover I will flip them to 12/12 and start the flowering phase.
The Auto's I have fully flushed until they drop to a 500-700 ppm and now they are back under the light to absorb what's left from the nutrients and then harvest day.
This strain is amazing and easy to grow, The LST method works perfect on this strain and the smells and aroma's, as I expected, tangerine and sour exactly how Fastbuds have them written in the strain description. 😎
Growing this strain was easy and enjoyable, using LST method made it even more interesting because this strain accepts it and gives you a good outcome. The smells and aroma's made you open the tent with a smile cause you know what's going to hit your nose. 😁 Using Advance nutrients made it even easier for me due to the phperfect technology, saved me some time from checking the PH every time I feed them, which is good. My job here is not done yet, I still have the drying process and curing, then it's taste time. 😋 Overall Fastbuds is on the top of my list for growing Auto's.
This strain was easy to grow as well, the awesome part about this strain is the colors it gives in the end of flowering, you can see the leaves turning purple and parts on the buds get a purple blue color. The smell on this strain, gives you that creamy aroma and sometimes it gave me fruity vibes. 😌
Getting in the 11th week of veg for the Mimosa Evo, I could have already have them flipped to 12/12 but because I had the auto's growing with them I had to wait for the auto's to finish.
So far I have only the 3 Critical Kush auto's left and as I can see they will be ready for harvest in 2 weeks max.
This gives me the time to work on the Mimosa now that I have placed a scrog net. I will spread them around the srog in this 2 weeks and then I will flip them to 12/12.
20/05/2022
Today I have flushed the Critical Kush auto's, those trichomes were almost fully milky. 😜 Now we wait for the harvest day on these girls.
Growing this strain is very easy and works very well with LST method. The aroma I get from this plant was earthy and pine, now I will have to wait and see for the taste when it will be ready.
I haven't been able to update my diary for about 2 weeks. The critical kush auto is already been drying for about 10 days. I feel the stems are ready to snap, after that trimming and curing time.
Will update on it once done.
09/06/2022
It has been 2 weeks since I placed the scrog on 6 of the Mimosa Evo and it looks like they took it pretty good. As my first time to scrog I'm satisfied.
They have done their stretch and now they are starting to flower. I gave them a round of feeding plus monster bloom and some worm casting.
The other 4 plants I didn't place a scrog because I wanted to see how it will go with no scrognet.
18/06/2022
It has been 9 days since this girls finished their stretch, they are looking very good. Although there is some yellowing on the bottom leaves they do seek more nutrients now that they are in flower, so I gave them another feeding today and cut off a few of the yellow leaves. some of them are falling by themselves. I will upload photo's soon...
10/07/2022
This girls are starting to fatten up and those smells are out of this world!!! 😎
I haven't been able to update my diary in time but ill catch up :p
All I can say is that this strain is full of surprises and cant wait to see the outcome!!!
20/7/2022
Its been 10 days since the last feeding, I have checked the trichomes and they are getting cloudy so its time for flush. The smell is amazing and very strong and also some of these girls have sick colours!!! 😎
