The producer, Super Strains, tells us about it: Enemy of the State is an old-school Indica full of incredibly rich flavors. A powerful variety that develops compact plants. This famous Indica genetics originated in Afghanistan. Fast flowering times, high resistance to pests, and generous yields. Enemy of The State is a very potent indica strain in its own right, with extremely high THC levels and a great resin production. This dense smoke will induce a strong high without turning you into a zombie. 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️ Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at a pretty slow pace... thanks for the TIP! I confess that when I bought this seed, I did it also for the name they gave it, Radical? Presumptuous? Empty? The case is that it will allow me to start a growing journey to find "Enemies of the State?" 😁😂😉 I placed the seed directly in the substrate moistened with water, honey, and homemade auxins; the seed is having a hard time sprouting, it showed itself after 5 days, and currently, it doesn't show much activity. I've also noticed that on the surface of the substrate and around the seed shell, a mycelium is growing; life is emerging everywhere!! I hope and wish that the seed thrives, I'm a bit worried about the appearance of those fungi, but I trust both that microbiology and the seed; microorganisms do not attack living organisms. Nevertheless, I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on the surface, it prevents stem rot, absorbs excess moisture, protects against crawling bugs, and provides silica. This season, I’m going to grow 4 plants in a single grow tent, with more light intensity per plant than last season, and larger pots (11l). While the vegetative growth lasts, I will keep the plant during the night with 12 hours of artificial light and the rest of the hours in the windows. The idea is to finish these grows between March and April, to then start the spring-summer season with 4 autoflowering plants, to take full advantage of the spring sun. I'm not a fan of autoflowering plants, but between the photoperiod indicas of this season and the autoflowers of the next, I can fill jars with marijuana to smoke during the day and give my sativa harvests as much curing time as possible!!✋😁 See you soon... It seems to have definitely accepted growing and staying with me. I love not leaving any crop behind!! 😎🌸 After 6 weeks since germination, going through hardships, flirting with death, but asking for peace, the seedling is giving me back the trust I placed in it and is growing wildly!! 😁... let the party begin! 💃 Water consumption is minimal, and it seems I'll have to pay attention to keep the pot's humidity in check, we'll see when it expands its roots more. Two days ago, I started with foliar applications of amino acids and lacto-fermented auxins and minerals, the seedling's response has been immediate, I'm doing two daily applications and will continue until it forms more leaves and starts increasing water consumption, meanwhile, the seedling is happily living between the grow tent and soaking up the sun from the windows. Currently, I'm growing 4 plants in a single grow tent, with one tall and large plant in flowering, what I'm doing is raising this pot and the other two, which are similar in size, to bring the seedlings closer to the light canopy, which I have at a high intensity, I hope it helps me compact these young crops. The truth is I have big plans for this crop, and I don't mind extending it, also, because I'm really enjoying looking for "enemies of the state," for now, I'm going to keep it all I can in this 3L pot, which always finds a spot in the grow tent, until I harvest the biggest plant, which takes up two spots! 😡, and can transplant it to the final pot, as it seems the strain grows slowly, but in return has a short flowering period, I hope everything works out for me! 👨‍🌾 See you soon... Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at quite a slow pace... yes, I've noticed, thanks! 🤷‍♂️😡 A week of wintry, cold, cloudy, and humid days, my plants and I are living sheltered and cozy until the weather improves. The metabolism of the crops slows down with the cold, water consumption decreases, but still, with regular foliar applications, the plant has made a great stretch, its leaves are expanding and the branches are growing, albeit timidly; nonetheless, I'm happy with the evolution of this survivor plant. I've started shaping the plant with some ties to the side branches. This week, two waterings mainly aimed at inoculating microorganisms into the substrate and promoting root mobility and growth. For now, I'm going to wait for the transplant to its final pot; at the very least, I want to see the roots at the base of the pot, and I'm surprised they haven't appeared yet, as the plant has very little soil. But the real problem is space in my grow tent, where I’m growing 4 plants, and one of them, in flowering, takes up exactly half of the tent, while the other three are crowding into the other half during 12 hours of indoor light. After that, I take the 3 plants in vegetative growth out to the windows, and on these cloudy days with low light, I'm turning on, as support, a 36w panel with blue diodes at 450nm, which is excellent light for promoting compactness, leaf expansion, and strengthening the side branches. Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at quite a slow pace... yes, I've noticed, thanks! 🤷‍♂️😡 It's been a week since I transplanted to the final pot, the plant has responded positively, water consumption has doubled in the last two days, today I will do the second deep watering after the transplant, the leaves are expanding and the branches and stems are strengthening, every time I look at this plant it reminds me of old landrace seed grows. I will wait at least another week before moving to flowering, or maybe two weeks, I would like to fully develop this strain. For now, the plant spends 10 hours indoors plus 9 hours of direct sunlight and 3 hours of brightness, the pot size allows me more mobility through my windows!🙋‍♂️😁 The goal now is to develop a powerful and very efficient root system, this week I have been regularly moistening the mulch, to encourage the creation of adventitious roots from the first centimeter of substrate and promote microbial life in the organic matter of the mulch and the adjacent substrate. Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at quite a slow pace... yes, I’ve noticed, thanks! 🤷‍♂️😡 Two weeks since transplanting to the final pot, an old school 7L, the plant is taking its time... and I’m going to give it that time because I really like the morphology of the plant and because I know it’s going to be a champion in the end. I’m extending the vegetative growth for another week; for now, it doesn’t take up much space in the grow tent. All week with very cloudy days, I’m taking the opportunity to compensate for the little light coming in through the windows with a LED panel with 450nm diodes. I want to maintain compactness and strengthen branches and trunk. I’m also trying to root the two lowest branches; I have them in contact with the substrate, I think it will work. Other than that, the plant is in very good health and the buds are reaching for the sky. Two waterings this week, with varied components and a lot of microbiology inoculation to the substrate. I’ve also added dry amendments and more mulch... all to make my girl happy and grow really big!🙋‍♂️👨‍🌾 See you soon... Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at quite a slow pace... yes, I’ve noticed, thanks! 🤷‍♂️😡 I’m going to continue in the vegetative stage, I want to enjoy as much time as possible with this lanky strain, also because it’s currently the only plant I take out into the sun and it keeps me company, I’ll wait another week... 🤷‍♂️ The plant has increased in height and width, it’s a plant with large leaves and a very bushy morphology, it still needs, in my opinion, to strengthen its branches and trunk. This week I’ve started using a soluble fertilizer with this plant that I made 10 months ago and opened yesterday, it’s a lacto-ferment of 3 guanos (Bat, Birds, and Meal Worm) with Azomite and Chitosan (AQ), a solution that has chelated the minerals present in the Azomite and has solubilized the nutrients from the guanos, I hope it’s a great nutrient for the final stage of vegetative growth. Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at quite a slow pace... slow but steady, thanks! 🤷‍♂️ Five days ago, I switched to a 12/12h schedule, and the plant has since made a great stretch; it’s clear that the night inspires this plant... just like its grower! 😋😁 This Afghan landrace strain has a scraggly appearance, is very branched, with short internodes and large leaves; it’s during these days that the plant is starting to show all its potential! I’m eager to see the formation of buds from this strain. Water consumption is increasing, watering every 3 days, this week two light waterings, one of them just with alkaline spring water (pH: 8, EC: 0.4), the pH of this water helps dissolve nutrients in the substrate, this way I also lighten the EC load of the substrate, looking ahead to the nutrient waterings I will be applying until the end of this grow. I can’t let my guard down, as the producer assures a flowering period of 45 days...🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ I’ve made two foliar applications with Horsetail to prevent the appearance of fungi, as the relative humidity in the grow tent increases a lot when the plants are sleeping. The sunny days this week allow me to take the plant out in the sun for 3 hours, three hours less of artificial light, in exchange for the fantastic solar spectrum, full of energy and warmth... Do you know of any better lamp? The fun is guaranteed; every morning I chase the sun rays, as if it were a game of cat and mouse!! See you soon... Indoors, this plant requires a long vegetative period, as it grows at a pretty slow pace... slow but steady, thanks! 🤷‍♂️ Second week since the switch to 12/12, pre-flowering has begun!!🌸🌸 My girl is becoming a woman!!😢😋 This plant has taken a while to develop, but now, it’s growing wild and free, this week it has gifted me with pre-flowering and 13cm of stretch! I’ve subjected it to concentrated watering for the last 3 waterings, and I think it’s a bit saturated, today I’ll give it a flushing with mineral water, the pot size is 7l, which doesn’t help with concentrated waterings, as there isn’t enough root mass to absorb so many nutrients... that’s what I think! 🤷‍♂️ Finally, I just want to say that this landrace Afghan "old-school Indica," which maintains asymmetrical growth and a rustic appearance, is the MOST SATIVA INDICA I’VE EVER SEEN!! big, thin, pointy leaves that droop slightly, spiky flower buds, and long branches forming a big bush! It couldn’t be any other way! The rebelliousness of this strain, which I share, has done everything to become "an unexpected and wonderful sativa spider!" in my garden of joy... hallelujah to all the enemies of the state! I'm curious to finally see the formation of the colas, for now, they seem to be pointing towards being long; let's see if I can make them thick and dense too! This week I've maintained nutrient watering with NPK, Bio stimulants, and micronutrients to strengthen the plant and prepare it for the flowering menu! The growth of the tails continues, the polyploid bud stands out from the rest, according to the producer it should be ready in two weeks, I’m going to give it varied food during this time, at concentrations around 1/1.2 EC, because even though I’ve been careful with the watering, some tips have burned, nothing serious, but a blockage after all, I’m expecting to harvest a more advanced plant, to move this one to the most illuminated part of the grow tent, and see if I can promote the center buds, as they are very small, this is a delicate-looking plant that isn’t going to be very productive, I hope the smoke makes up for it. A plant with a delicate and rustic appearance at the same time, a phenotype with sativa morphology, despite being 100% indica, the plant grew tall and slender, with fine branches that supported the weight of the main buds thanks to its great elasticity. The main bud developed a polyploid mutation... beautiful! After a week of drying and two of curing, the buds retain all their density, the smell is now more stable and at the same time complex, with predominant aromas of eucalyptus, mixed with fresh mushrooms and pastry cream. When grinding the herb, it doubles in volume, resulting in an intensification of all the aromas. The smoke is easily inhaled, leaving a taste of earth and wood in the mouth, accompanied by a very strong and stimulating effect, clearly sativa, making this strain something special, and I believe that the greatest potential of this strain would be obtained in outdoor cultivation.

After having the plant under indoor light for 48 uninterrupted hours and the magnificent sun of these last few days, I played my role as a raider, and without pain, I cut the flowers for future enjoyment, happy to see a free space in my tent and glad to see my marijuana stash recover, this plant was the last of the winter/spring season, the slow growth of the first weeks extended the cultivation, although the flowering time has been short, as the producer announced. You've burned that plant, stop watering it and apply some rooting hormone via foliar spray, you'll notice big changes! In the first 7-9 days of life, don't water the plants, just keep the substrate and the plant moist with a spray. You can apply rooting hormone via foliar spray. You'll see spectacular results. Overwatering is very bad for plants in substrate, and if you have LEDs, they heat less and dry out the soil much less.

@420DeepGrow, thanks for the advice. I only watered the substrate the day I planted the seed to germinate. As of today, the seedling still doesn't have enough leaf area for this type of application. The seedling is alive and sprouting, although very slowly, I think it will survive.

@Jobbie Thanks mate! I cannot have mother plants, due to lack of space. In the case of this plant, as it has a slow growth, I am making it grow before flowering, and incidentally it accompanies me on a day-to-day basis.🖐️👨‍🌾
