Paper towel germination. Roughly 3-4 days. Planted directly into 4 gallon pots filled about 2/3 with Foxfarms ocean forest (75%) and perlite (25%) and a tbsp of azomite mixed in per pot. 5 plants total. Currently under 30 watt 6400k LEDs for about a week or so until I put them in the grow room
Hey friend, Looking good so far. Would you be okay with me offering some pointers to help you out? So cannabis plants love heat and humidity. The buds hate it, Your temps right now are great for seedling and veg stage but one thing you could improve is, When our plants are small our roots are small. Due to this in the early seedling or plant life stage, they grow small through this phase. We can speed that up by supporting the roots with some foliar intake from the leafs. The humidity of 60-70% really helps them get moving along through this slow phase of development.
If we look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on, Which you got going on good right now. But we want no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature fluctuation between lights on and off, More than 10 degrees less our plants will stretch a lot in response. So I would recommend shoring up that temp gap if you are able to.
If you have not done so yet, Get yourself a thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 62 MAX & a PAR meter. These pieces of equipment really help you grow to your plant's needs and get the most potential out of your lights. Also check out VPD, Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to growing cannabis, All new growers should get comfortable with a VPD chart right away.
