Well Well Well. we are almost close to chopping day. I have started flushing and planning to continue up until the 16/19th. after nearly 1 week I am noticing little to no nutrient deficiency signs in the plant. I can see a faint paling of the main fan leaves and light yellowing of the bare eyes of the smallest star leaves (top canopy only). So far I see no elegant pigment change I was expecting with the final stages of one of my plants. If that wasn't obvious by the look of this diary in particular, I can confidently say that she is my absolute favourite strain of all times, period. The smell and terpene profile is completely out of this world. The plant has now started to drink less: the coco medium is still visibly damp after 24 hours, may reduce watering to 1L a day. I can clearly gauge that we are in final 10days (at most). trichomes are 10% amber with a still large amount of cloudy. considering 2 weeks for flushing I should stop on the upcoming march 14th. then one final trichome check and then 36 hours of darkness with no water. Little update: I have now started to defoliate (more of a wet trim while still alive actually). I now have no fan leaves (both major and minor). I have kept all small and large sugar leaves and will contemplate doing some dry ice shake. If you have experience with trim and sugar leaves uses, do drop me a DM. Also I have snipped a tiny flower in the process: Oh well! I am already 7 days into flushing I might as well see at what stage we are in flavour profile before curing. I have set march 17th as dark period without water start date, 18th chop and dry until the 25th. Then cure for 3+ weeks.

Wet is less messy but bud drys faster and can over dry loosing taste and smell. Dry trim is slower drying and can help retain more smells and tastse. I hang with trim on in sections. Then in a few days I like to clip all fan leaves off when they served their final purpose. Then final trim when dry. Is my method.

@Growpotkin, thank you, I have already scheduled the next 2 grow, that is how excited I am to do this all over again. I have been told that for being my very first rookie run it looks ok. They are all alive, all pumping, all in pretty ok conditions considering that massive nute burns and anything else in between. learning everyday with coco coir and wouldn't do soil no matter what. very pleased overall

@KingSalomonsWeed, excellent thanks! I am noticing my Tangie becoming quite ready: lots of cloudy trichomes and few clear. may wait until I see 10% amber just to be on the safe side. it will be super stressful to gauge the right time as it is my first grow ever.

Dann ernte.. Eine Woche Dünger. 2 Wochen Wasser und dann den Rest. Dann kommt da noch Ordentlich was nach.

@KingSalomonsWeed, I was thinking about doing a couple of harvests, as you suggested. Wouldn't harvest #1 shock the plant sop much that she wouldn't recover AND finish off the smaller buds?

Hey, friend looking good. Next time try and open up your temp gaps once the plants finish growing vertically. This will send extra energy into the budding process and resin production. So normally we want our temp gaps to be no more than 9 degrees less with lights off, At this stage, we want to open it up past that to 10 , 11 and more each passing week until harvest. Also simulating cloud cover with light deprivation and colder feed temps on the last week of flush will really help you get a nice craft cannabis look. Check out VPD, Vapor pressure deficit and how it relates to growing cannabis it is a great tool for all growers to utilize. All growers should be able to read a VPD chart and use one daily on their grow. Also, grab yourself a PAR meter & A thermal laser temp gun to better help you read your plants and grow to their needs. If you ever have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me I am always willing to help out. Check out my 200 light 7,000 plant diary I just finished by posting up dry bud shots, I am currently working on a youtube tutorial series for all levels of growers. If that interests you subscribe to my channel it is linked off my growdiaries profile. Happy growing and great job!
