All the seeds were small and quite light in colour. Other diaries on here growing this strain look good so fingers crossed.
Soaked for an hour in tap water then put in a folded wet paper towel and put into a takeaway container and placed in the boiler cupboard.

2 out of 5 seeds have popped 24 hours later, 1 looks like it's about to, we'll see about the other 2
2 days after starting the seeds 3 have popped, the other 2 are most likely duds at this point
Planted all 3 in coco coir with 2 hand fulls of worm castings worked in into 20 litre pots and covered to up the humidity.
Gave the unpopped seeds a light squeeze, I heard a little crack with one of them, left for another few hours and came back to a little tap root on the one that cracked,still nothing for the other,decided to plant in a pot double the size of the others, see what happens.
The other seed still didn't show any signs of popping so it'll be getting discarded, 4 out of 5 ain't bad.
One of the ak didn't open up after the seed came off while the rest stretched up a bit

One looks a bit sickly with tiny little holes on the leaves, they were there as soon as it started growing
Should probably invest in a ph pen and some up and down but going to stick with straight tap water to see what happens
they're looking nice, 1 of them has a more sativa look than the other 2, has stretched taller and has much thinner and longer fingers on her leaves, cant wait to see the difference in the buds, everything's been easy and has went as expected
1 looks like it leans more towards the sativa side, pistils have started to appear on them all now, cant wait to see how they turn out, they're on 12/12 because ive got them in their grow space with a photoperiod so hopefully it doesn't slow the process down too much
All flowering nicely now, the one in the fabric pot is much bigger even though its a smaller volume. They're all looking good to me.
I was just having a shuffle about in the grow room, checking all the bud sites where getting enough light, i snapped the main stalk toward the top of the tallest plant, I've taped her up and put a splint on her, been 2 days and she still seems ok so hopefully she's not too stunted.
the tall girl is nearly as tall as me so i folded her over to keep the canopy a bit more even, snapped the stem on the main cola so i patched her with some duct tape and made a splint out of zip ties, she pulled through it with ease, clearly a very resilient plant, smells a bit hashy, looks like there should be alot of bud on them
They've got a lovely, gassy, hashy smell to them now, they've filled up the canopy now, haven't changed anything I've been doing, got an oscillating fan on medium because of all the foliage, don't want any wet damp patches forming, smoking a joint watching the leaves sway in the wind is what its all about.
She smells outstanding, the snapped stem didn't seem to slow her down compared to the other 2, growing amazingly uniformly, she's a resinous beauty, leaves with with super sticky fingers
i freed up some space last week so I've spread them out a little bit more to expose more bud sites, they're just starting to gain weight and smell potent as fuck already
There is definitely 2 different phenos in here, the smaller girls smell super potent and gassy, the tall girl has a much more mellow smell and isn't quite as sticky, the big girl is also seems to be maturing slightly faster than the other 2, not long left now, just a few weeks, 4 at a push
chopped one down, probably a bit early but still looks like a nice amount, letting the other 2 go at least 2 or 3 more weeks, ran out of bud so it was out of necessity.

There were a couple of banana sites on some upperr buds so they all got chopped a bit early, even so, she smells nice, cakey and sweet, slightly peppery, smoked up a few joints and it weighed me in, straight asleep. Probably wont grow them again

Nice green healthy plants , I’ve grown AK420 before and it is our fave smoke , so motivational and creative… obv we smoked it all and I reminisce hard for it ..
@0ldToby, it’s one of the ones that people bring up long after it’s all smoked lol . Yeah I recall mine being mad bushy at the time . You’ll enjoy it fir sure .
@Rangaku, I've been hearing alot of good things about ak420 lately, thanks buddy, they're getting alot wider than i was expecting them to now, cant wait for the smoke sesh
