Due to quick changes of temperature and humidity, leaf edges are dry and yellow spots appear on the leaves. So I moved my tent to other room which has cooler and stable humidity.
I am trying to start LST method for the first time on my very first auto flowering plant (rainbow candy auto).
I heard this method of training can get equal amount of light on nodes and buds.
So let's try it!
6 weeks old Indica strain with many errors and growing in DIY tent without air vent but 2 fans.
These are my first time LST training and growing cannabis.
I moved my tent to other room when she was 2weeks old. And that room get lower temperature than the past room. So I tried my indica in summertime and I got lucky because she can survive in that environment I give her which has 29 °C in daytime.
I think she is ready to bloom buds and it's in 8weeks from sprout. Let's see how she reacts to bloom nutrients and act. Moreover, I am worried about nutrients efficiency because the leaves turn into dark green colour. Is it normal or not?
Because of my personal case, I left her 10 days without caring. After I left day 4&5, my friend give her water twice. When I get back, she started thirsty and the pot was very light.
But she didn't die and it's such a relief.
Defoliate some lower small buds and stems in this week.
One more nute week left and I will flush it for 2 weeks.
Let's see how she can ripe and change.
The last week of feeding nute.
Buds are obviously fatter than last week and trichomes are cloudy/milky.
Some get mix with cloudy and amber.
I think it's time to flush the chemical nutrients out And I hope she is ready.
I'll chop it in 2 weeks.
Flushed twice in a week. Need one more ice flush and 48 hours of darkness. After that I will harvest her for my first time growing cannabis. I think she's ready to chop.
This Rainbowcandy auto strain is good for beginner grower. She can grow well in warm climate which I have. As a indica strain, she bloomed short, wide and dense bud. This auto strain made my first growing experience easy and confident to grow more. She gave me more than I expected. What a nice season!
Happy harvest after all !
Although it's my first time growing, the bud's rich flavor, smoothness, smell, colour of ash, volume of smoke and the effects (chill, relax, focus, stoney, manchies) are satisfying. It takes 4 months to smoke from seed and I got 85 grams of dry weight.
I love to grow this Rainbowcandy auto strain by GrowersChoice.
