Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly.
Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….
@Silverback_Guerilla, 1 gals now. It strikes an even balance given that I’m losing a lot of headroom with the flood table. I did 2gals initially but on the first cycle the resulting plants were insanely larger than I would’ve expected them to be. We talked on it actually - I had an fb cheese auto that ran outta control and had to do a late flower surpercrop. This size is definitely better for clones but I have yet to fully test it from seed. That’s coming this run👍. Regardless - I max out strain selection with more plants and smaller pots. No real supply issues for now so yield can suffer a little - especially when testing crosses👌
@TheBudWhisperer, I think I am in the same vote , I need to do something about my next run , to make it more convenient, and get the results I'm looking for.....👈 still they be looking good , hope they chunk up for ya ....👍
@Tropicannibis_Todd, meh - this grow was always gonna be a bit risky and I knew it. Alls good just sucks going back to the drawing board on a grow system I’ve been working on for a whole year…
