Pheno Hunt - Project Mars 2

Welcome to the start of an excellent pheno hunting project I have going with some really cool genetics! With many plants started and growing it wont be long till we see if we got some real winners! Be sure to follow along and stay tuned! Huge shout out goes to @MarsHydroLED for making such amazing equipment for me to grow with! -The Projexx Day#1 Transplanted into solo cups, watered 1/2 cup each at 550PPM. Day#2 Pictures N/A. Plants getting used to their new homes. Day#3 Pictures N/A. Watered 1/2 cup each at 550PPM. Day#4 Pictures N/A. Ladies working their second nodes now! Day#5 Most of the plants are pushing their 2nd node wont be long till were in veg. Day#6 Pictures N/A. Watered 1/2 cup each at 550PPM. Growing along nicely. Day#7 Lots of healthy looking ladies. Growing along very nicely at a good rate. Recap: Things went well for our first week , it won't be long now till I look to transplant these fine seedling into a bigger home for them to spread their roots.

Welcome to week 2 on our Pheno Hunt project. The plants are growing with haste so it wont be long till we look to transplant into some 2.5 gallon buckets. With them growing so quickly it seems like I will be jumping from seedling to veg very quickly! Be sure to follow along and stay tuned for more updates! I will be looking to transplant in a few days for sure. Day#9 Leaves are starting to pass the edge of the cups transplant is near!! Watered 1/2 cup each at 550PPM. Day#10 Pictures N/A. Last day for them in solo cups! Day#11 Transplanted into 3 gallon homes and watered 1 Cup each at 550PPM. Day#12 Pictures N/A. Plants seem unbothered by transplant and just continued to grow as if nothing happened. Day#13 Watered plants 1.5 cups at 550PPM after pictures where taken. Plants growing along , we had a cold snap they didnt like it but they will survive. Day#14 Pictures N/A. Ladies are really starting to pick it up now! They are loving the water increase. Recap: Things went well this week , we transplanted all the plants into their next homes except for 2 of them which joined the party later from the germ dome. It wont be long till I look to transplant those either into their next home. With no complaints onto next week!

Welcome to week 3 of the pheno hunt! We have lots of lovely looking plants to choose from as they get older. We seemed to have some 5 finger leaves coming along indicating to me the start of actual veg is happening, shouldnt be too much longer until I look to top these plants to start making them branch out and expand. Day#16 Pictures N/A. Plants. are growing along nicely! seem to be stretching the node spacing to allow the branches to stretch out! Day#17 Pictures N/A. Plants are getting thirstier by the day going to up water to 1L next feed. Day#18 Plants are praying pretty hard under their FC4800. Watered 1L each at 550PPM 1 hour before lights out. Day#19 Pictures N/A. Growing along nicely may have to transplant sooner then later. Day#20 Pictures N/A. Plants are growing along with no real issues , some will deff need training. Day#21 Watered 1L each at 550PPM , going to look to top them soon to get the branches going strong! Recap: Things went well this week , I once I transplant I may try feeding from the bottom to see if there are any changes to amount of water being used up. Pretty excited to see how many ladies ill get this run and if any will be clone worthy!

Welcome to week 4! The plants are really growing along now so we will be looking to transplant as soon as possible into their final homes ( 5 gallon ) I will be topping the plants this week to get some of that branching going and we will be looking to start the flowering process sooner then later. Im aiming for 2 weeks more of veg then flower time if things are in order. Huge shout out to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass equipment! Huge huge shout out goes to all my followers and to the people who stop into the diary alike you guys are kick ass keep on keeping on! -The Projexx Day#22 Pictures N/A Things are starting to grow along nicely , aiming to transplant in a few days! Day#23 Pictures N/A Transplanted plants into their 5 gallon homes except for 2 went into 7s and 2 stayed in their same buckets. Watered 1/2L each at 550PPM Day#24 Plants are digging their new homes , we took some video action. Its getting hard to fit all the plants in 1 frame haha. Day#25 Pictures N/A Plants are just growing along , going to top in the near future. Day#26 Watered ladies 1L each from the bottom at 550PPM. Going to be bottom feeding from here to see if it makes a difference. Day#27 Topped the plants let the branching begin! Day#28 Ladies look unhappy but thats them adjusting for their new nodes! Recap: Things are pushing strong this week we topped the plants and they are growing like nothings happened. I dont know that Im a fan of bottom feeding the plants but well see how things develop in the near future, I may have to practice the technique until im comfy with it as I would normally top feed.

Welcome to week 5! Things are progressing along as some plants have started to display sex. I've removed some of the males that have shown themselves so far as we aren't looking to breed this run. Going to let them veg for this week and then I will be flipping the lights to get the flowering cycle started. Huge shout outs go to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass gear! Keep on inspiring. -The Projexx Day#29 Ladies are growing along and recovering nicely from the topping , Watered 1.5L from the bottom. Day#30 Plants seem to be doing ok from the water increase. Things moving along nicely Day#31 Pictures N/A. Plants are growing along remove 2 males Day#32 Watered 1.5L from the bottom , Plants arent very happy. I think the issues is i'm not waiting long enough between waterings. I will have to practice the technique more for now I may go back to top watering. Day#33 Pictures. N/A.Top fed 3.5 L each at 550PPM I knew I wasnt giving them enough water. Things are about to change heavy duty now Day#34 Pictures. N/A Plants are ridiculously happy now. Im going to cut away all the dying leaves and flip the lights. Day#35 Pictures N/A Last day of veg for this project. Im excited to see what these plants do in flower! Welcome to week one of flower!!! This should get super interesting super quickly! With all the males pretty much weeded outta the room we got left with 9 plants that im 99,99% sure are female. I will be adding some nets in a few days after I ensure everyone in the room is female. Huge shout out to Hidden Vault Genetics for all their great work with genetics! Watered 3.5L each at 550PPM Day#2F Ladies are praying and starting to react to the light change. Day#3F Ladies are praying and changing , so far only 1 plant left im not sure what it is in terms of sex. Day#4F Pictures N/A. Organs on plants are getting more pronounced won't be long till where in full stretch. Watered ladies at 3.5L each at 550 PPM Day#5F Pictures N/A Ladies are starting to really pick up now! Day#6F Going to look to install the nets in a couple days just giving one plant a little more time to display sex before I lock the ladies into place.

Welcome to week 2 of flower on this lovely project! The ladies are stretching like crazy and it won't be long till we see some lovely flower tops starting! Some really cool genetics featured this run by a really cool breeder Hidden Vault Genetics. Genetic breakdown: Banana Smoothie ( Banana Split x G.O.S ) Creamy Cereal Crunch ( Watermelon Z x G.O.S ) MacMelonz ( Mac Burger x Zour Watermelon ) Huge shouts go to both the breeder and @MarsHydroLED for the awesome gear they make! Huge huge shout out goes to all my followers and supporters you guys inspire me to become the best grower I can be! Be sure to follow along for the latest updates cause this shows getting juicier by the day! -The Projexx Day#8F Put in net , trained down some of the taller plants. Plants are stretching along nicely. Day#9F Plants bounced back from the scrog training very quickly. They're picking up the pace with stretching! Day#10F Plants are just bursting in new growth, Creamy Cereal Crunch is getting huge! Day#11F We got the start of cotton balls going! Day#12F Pictures N/A. Ladies continue to explode in growth, defoliated some of the older leaves that aren't getting any light. Day#13F The ladies continue their stretch! Creamy Cereal is absolutely beasting out! Day#14F Cotton balls are getting bigger and bigger. Plants continue to stretch with minor signs of slowing down. Recap: Things went extremely well this week , the plants absolutely exploded in growth and have developed cottons balls. With some time left on the stretching period and lots of time left overall on this grow I'm very excited to see the end results with these cool genetics.

Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Keep inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#15F Ladies continue their stretching, will be looking to remove some leaves to open the plants up soon. Day#16F Watered ladies 4L each at 550PPM. Things are moving along as the plants keep stretching like crazy Day#17F Ladies are producing more and more size on their cotton balls while stretching up and stacking hard. Day#18F Ladies are producing quite the frost levels for their age. Watered 4L each at 550PPM. Day#19F Pictures N/A. Plants continue to stretch and stack. Day#20F Ladies look like their slowing down on their stretch hopefully haha. Watered ladies 4L each at 550PPM. Day#21F The plants are still stretching abit while putting mass on their flowers slowly. Wont be long till we see some giant flowers covered in trichomes! Recap: Things went very well this week, some of the plants are starting to put out a smell and everyone's pumping trichomes like crazy! With about a week or so left on the stretching period I will be looking to place my secondary nets very very soon. I'm looking forward to seeing what the plants smell like and how they continue to develop their flowers!

Welcome to week 4 of flower!!! I expect the ladies to slow right down in the stretch and start to focus on fattening up those flower sites. The plants have been going hard since day 1 of flower and I expect they will continue to go hard until the very end! Follow along and stay tuned wont be long now till we got monster flowers! -The Projexx Day#22F Ladies continue to stretch along , MacMelonz still has some stretch time on her. Day#23F Pictures N/A. Some of the plants are beginning to focus on thickening up their flower sites! Day#24F Ladies are still stretching it out , some are almost 4 feet tall now! Day#25F Banana Smoothie is throwing off the wildest Banana Cream terpenes, the other plants are starting to throw smell too but not as hard as Banana Smoothie. Day#26F Lots of the flower tops are starting to put on mass now. Day#27F Pictures N/A. Creamy Cereal is deff pumping milk and fruit terpenes now. Day#28F Ladies are just cruising along and mostly starting to focus on flowers now. MacMelonz will still stretch for a week or so. Recap: Things went really well this week , the ladies are absolutely exploding and starting to put on mass. With 6-7 weeks left it will be quite exciting to see the end results and the terpene profiles of each plant! Overall really happy and cant wait to see what next week brings!

Welcome to week 5 of flower for this lovely project! The ladies should start to put on some serious weight over the coming weeks as I've noticed most plants are done their stretch now (except macmelonz). We got lots of crazy smells coming from these plants some are harder to tell then others but some are extremely pleasing smelling already. Banana Smoothie is really putting off that banana cream smell accompanied by berries as an undertone. Creamy Cereal Crunch smells like Fruit loops and milk , its very unique and very pleasing if your into cereal anyways haha. Over all excited to see what this week will bring! Huge shout out to all my followers and people who stop into the diary alike , keep on inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#29F Ladies are starting to display some bulking up. Day#30F Pictures N/A. Plants seem to be stretching a bit more but concentrating on bulking up flowers. Some really nice smells coming out. Day#31F Macmelonz is still stretching along but stacking hard and the rest are starting to put on noticeable weight. Day#32F Ladies are grooving along nicely, going to look to trim up some of the middle allow for more air flow to the plants. Day#33F Banana Smoothie #1 and #4 are really starting to put out Banana Cream aromas its quite intense now. Day#34F The canopy deff needs a light defoliation. Going to defoliate slowly but surely over the coming weeks. Day#35F Pictures N/A. Ladies are really thirsty going to be upping the water next feed. Flowers are bulking like crazy! Over all very pleased with the performance of the plants its going to be exciting to watch them grow over the coming weeks!

Welcome to week 6 of flower for this lovely project! Last week was exciting this week should be even more exciting! With the ladies beginning to put on serious weight it's only a matter of time before I'll have to install a second net to help support the branches. With this being about the halfway point I'm excited to see them at the finish line! Huge shout outs to @MarsHydroLED for making epic lights and tents for people to grow in! Keep inspiring to grow! -The Projexx Day#36F Creamy Cereal is PUMPING frost now with its undeniable smell of fruit loops and milk. Day#37F Ladies are putting on mass and quickly! Day#38F Macmelonz continues to stretch and stack but looks like its nearing the end for her stretch phase. Hopefully she pumps HUGE kickass flowers for me. Day#39F Flowers are almost the size of a soda can now. The trichomes on these plants are wild like trichomes over trichomes. The flowers have really picked up on the aroma department as well very please with the plants. Day#40F Raised the light abit, Flowers are starting to display colour in them now can't wait to see them in a few weeks! Day#41F Pictures N/A. Ladies are still beefing up flowers some of the pistols are starting to turn. Day#42F Ladies are still putting on mass daily. Lots of lovely unique smells coming from the plants. Welcome to week 7 of flower for this lovely project. Things are moving along and hopefully we will be looking to start flushing soon so we can harvest these beautiful flowers around day 70. I'm very pleased so far with the way things are going for this run looks like I'll be pulling in some big numbers when it's all said and done! Still putting on mass and trichomes daily! Day#44F Some of the plants are starting to throw some colour around now. Won't be long tell we're looking to flush I'm sure. Day#45F Some of the ladies are starting to slow down now while other push on gaining mass daily. Day#46F Pictures N/A. Lowered temps in room, increased water to some of the plants while decreasing some for others. Day#47F Pictures N/A. Ladies seem to be enjoying the temp decrease. Most plants are still gaining mass. Day#48F Pictures N/A. Creamy Cereal #1 starting to fade. I will be looking at the trichomes of all the plants in the coming days! Day#49F Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 are still going strong putting on mass daily these ladies will be closer to 80 day finish I willing to be. Recap: Things are going good , with some plants showing signs of slowing down on mass its time to start checking trichomes to see if we can begin the flush period. I will be looking at the trichomes in the next couple of days to see where things are at on an overall level. The more time passes the more excited I am for the race to the finish line!

Welcome to week 8 of flower!! Things are really starting to get heavy and loaded in frost! I will be checking the trichomes this week to see what plants are nearing the end and which ones will still need a bit more time to mature and finish. To say the least Im very excited to get to the finish line with these ladies! Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will deff need more time to finish then the rest of the ladies in this room! Day#52F Started removing some leaves from the bottom , I will be looking to continue this until harvest day. Day#53F I knew I should have installed the second net, Some of the flowers are leaning right over now haha. Going to get some stakes to add into the buckets for some support. Day#54F Checked the trichomes looking like 6 of the 8 plants will be starting their flush while Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will continue to feed for a bit longer before starting to flush. Day#55F Really digging trichome production on Creamy Cereal #2 , she's got a wild Lucky Charms aroma to her that's quite unique.
