Hydro Mastodon Kush - SP6500

Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope u are well and having a good day.. 😁👍 I decided to go with Mastodon Kush on this run as she preformed really well in soil.. This clone was raised up in mother cupboard and transferred into the 40L NFT tray that was pre set with feeds, oxygen bubbler and spreader matt on top tray.. I let it run for 30mins before taking plastic cover off rockwool cube and adding blackout mylar covers to stop any potential light leaks into rooting zone.. The Sp6500 led was set at 75% and placed 135cm away from top of NFT tray(very low set systems that are only 25cm tall).. Keeping check of the pH and ppm levels daily and making slight adjustments to the pH to keep it as close to 5.6 as possible.. Taking out the delivery pipe from the res pump, good mixing with a few drops of acid and using pH pen to evaluate.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Been topping up the res with 10L fresh nutrition every 3rd-4th day now as she's starting to drink alot more.. PH and ppm have been keeping pretty stable so ive not had to make any adjustments.. Pictures are taken about 17days after transferring into hydroponics, so a little in between 2nd and 3rd weeks but plan to run her for 56-60days in total.. I did a res clean and basically forgot to put the nutrition delivery pump back into the top tray.. She went about 6hrs without water and the light was in day mode so it damaged her quite alot as u can see from pictures.. My heart sank when I seen her.. My initial thoughts were to put her to rest and replace her with a fresh clone of same strain.. I decided to drench her in GreenBuzz Liquids "Fast Plants Spray" and give her a day in full darkness to see how much of her would come back🤞.. Next day all her stems/branches had lifted up again but a huge number of her big fan leaves which are her solar panels have been damaged (now removed) so im unsure how she'll cope but im going to continue with her.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. This strain is super resilient and preforming like a real champion.. The spray down last week with GBL's "Fast Plant Spray" definitely saved her from completely drying out and gave her the necessary additional boost of essentials to help her through the huge shock.. Her root system has started to show great signs of new growth again which is a massive relief.. Started to give her small doses of PK booster and will gradually increase over the next few weeks allowing her glands to swell as much as possible.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. She was a bit on the high side of feed when i checked her today so just simply added some plain pH adjusted water to the main res to dilute the ppm.. She's been getting regular top ups this week at least every 2-3 days and i will be cutting back on the main A&B base feeds to half strength this coming week whilst still giving her boosters/PK's/additives and start the flush the week after.. 👍😁 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Really glad she made it to the end!.. Had to harvest her a little bit earlier than hoped, but the jars are running low, again!.. Not much to report but Im trying to keep up with diaries and bit busy atm offline so will try make updates brief until i catch up.. I nearly "accidentally" killed her in early weeks of bloom but she bounced bk whereas I have seen other strains less afflicted and not last a few days (i left the res pump out in hydro!).. Clearly a sign of a very strong genetic background and didn't try to hermie or go weak.. She fought for me and did me very proud.. I also really appreciate this strains fast flowering time which gives tight buds, great flavour and extremely high trichome productivity.. I think she's in the region of about 17-22%THC and has a beautiful smooth finish on her when smoking and i get a very sweet kush flavour on a dry vape.. Lovely, sticky, smelly.. Nothing bad to say about this strain and will keep it goin for a while..
