Flipping night of 6/6. Day 1 is 6/7. I will be doing a 1 node on the kush cake on day 5. This way I really pack on the weight top wise. Should also slow down the stretch. I'm pretty sure the 240 watts will really push these flowers. Time will tell. The kush cake was root bound in a 5 gallon for some time. Shes now in a 10. She has recovered enough to flip. My tent has filled in quite enough. More than enough tops/ colas to form.
This week we are cruising. No issues. She is dialed in at the moment. Turning the lights up gradually. Turned them up to 75% now. Should reach 100% by the end of week 2. Next defoliation most likely near the end of week 4.
We ended up adding flower fuel early. Only a slight amount. I'm going to kick off the real feeding by week 3 start time. Developing a nice stacked structure with the 1 node method D5
Shes cruising along. I was skeptical on the 1 node for this cultivar. I have no idea the stretch. Seems like she would respond better to a 1 node and pluck on day 1 flower to day 3 rather than 5. She still is stretching hard however. I should add a few more nodes before going into full flower. So far no intersex traits as EVERYTHING I touch will get some kind of stress to see of they withstand shit. I need winners not crap shoots.
Roommate ended up leaving temp off. Tent reached 107 degrees for a few hours.
I ended up dimming the watts down around 40% I've noticed that the top leaves are losing color. I believe this is possibly light stress since they are only a little over a ft away from the canopy. I've upped the feed as well as supplemented other additives to help bounce her back. I believe this should solve the issue before it gets worse.
So it was the lights. Too powerful based on the distance and stage of growth. I can see the green going right back into the leaves. Issue avoided. Time to steer this to the end.
Also cutting back on the amount of water as well. Looking a lot better. Slight overwatering.
I'm going to keep upping all my feeds. She eats FAST.
I believe I finally hit her sweet spot. Looking at a 65 to 70 day harvest window.
Week 5. We finally have a good ground. I have PLENTY of green left in this plant so she will easily make it to the finish line.
I see tip burns. Finally. A sign of meeting her needs.
Switching gears now. She looks like she will be done at day 63ish. Going to dial back on grow. She is fattening up and has the craziest terps. I definitely want to run her clone.
The leaf claw is only from the top leaves affected from the early light intensity. Not overwatering.
Cutting the nitrogen. Micro has enough within it. Not to mention she's got plenty of green left. I'm shooting for a week 9 to 10 harvest. Should have some lowers to smash for terpy rosin as well as very nice headies. I'll reveg this cut as well due to the fact I want to double down and not lose her. I'm defoliating the last big set of leaves. The rest will be as they go or see fit. I'll stop giving bloom around day 56.
Nothing but water till chop. I'm thinking day 63 or 65. I can't wait to see what the clone has in store. Definitely going to be a nice harvest full of headies and squish material for days.
This strain was grown in used soil. I vegged her for around 5 months while testing my own Pink Sugar Breath F2s. She is a very resilient strain that did not need much until flower. Week 2 to 3 is where she starts needing more. I believe she is somewhat light sensitive aka less is more. I have a beautiful clone that will be shown in another diary to see if I can get her dialed in and collect more flower and rosin. The finished product is filled with hints of Blueberrys, floor cleaner, and cakey dank. I ended up squishing the whole plant due to the nice outcome of rosin. It hits you like a freight train. I cough and spit every 1st of the day dab with this one. Leaving me in a trance with a couch lock hardcore. Too much and you will go to sleep. She truly is special and translates amazingly from smell to smoke.
