I transplanted from red cups to 1 gallon fabric containers this week. Added Great White on roots of each. Roots were nice healthy white when I could see them and clearly wasn't root bound or having any issues.
Added small auto-drip system to each of the 6 plants this week. Testing it out allowing it to run ph 6.4 water for 1 minute every two days, mainly so I can go on vacation in April for a week.
Lights are currently at only 16 inches but running at 75% with ppfd around 400-425. These lights are pretty weak so being that close is hopefully ok, plants seem ok with it so far. When they were in red cups I could use one light, now with 1 gallon pots I've turned on my second light in my 2x4 tent. Temperature has gone from 72-74 with exhaust fan on lower setting to 75-78 during the day with exhaust on a higher setting. Warmer air and more flow is good.
Went on vacation and had water issues with auto-watering system. Definitely did not get enough water, leaves were crispy, curling and overall yellowing.
Gave nutrients, water, cal mag when I got home but likely shocked the plants. Above picture was take before leaving with web cam.
Waited a few days to trim off dead leaves after my auto watering issue. Raised lights for a couple days to recover. Have been watering every other day manually now with cal-mag in each watering. They seem to be recovering but are still pale. Increasing Big Bloom and Grow Big to 7-8 ml/gal.
Started HST and clearing bottom leaves, seem to be responding well. Topped the highest/thickest plant. End of the week I re-configured auto-watering system to run 2 minutes each day (approx 120-150 ml) will monitor in case it isn't enough.
