Looking good. There is still quite a big difference in size between the ones in the autopots and the ones out of the autopots but the gap is now shrinking, I do believe they are getting used to the auto watering now. It scared me to turn it on again as I almost drowned them as seedlings lol They’ve been topped once now as well pics were taken before that though.

I have decided to try to stagger updates from one plant to another. If I do them all at once I end up not writing anything so I’ll try to add more mainly for my future reference. The skittles plants are going great. The one in the normal plant pot is really large and if the roots are anything like the cheese and kalini Asia plant I just transplanted, they are HUGE and all encompassing! I did notice when I just stuck my finger in the soil that I could feel the roots. Honestly I havnt really done anything special so far. They are growing really well at the moment and may well overtake the other two that have been transplanted to be honest. The nutes I’m using again this time are behaving perfectly and havnt fallen out of solution once. Iv no idea what I was doing before but having the right PH probably helps a lot. I find it much easier to lower my PH now that I do it regularly, I sort of know how much down to use. Last night when I was changing the res I forgot to look at the PH until after I had added the nutes. I had already added the PH down I just forgot to check the value afterwards and honestly it didn’t matter at all. I checked it after having stirred the nutes in and it was perfect. I use the PH test drops rather than a meter coz I’m shit at looking after stuff - even expensive stuff and the drops just always work! They won’t give a .00 value or even a definitive .0 value but they get me there and have had no problems. I know when my PH levels right coz when I add the drops it has to look like piss! Always makes me laugh…little things and all that. I don’t think I’m going to top again now. I did go back in and re-top one of the ones that had been done and I think one more but I can’t remember which plants that was lol I’ll have to wait for them to grow out and I’ll see. Probably will flip to flower next weekend maybe the one after. I don’t know. I’m just waiting until they are about half of the height I want them to end up. I’m also obviously trying to get them to grow bushier rather than straight up.

I added some pictures of the little flood I had. The monster skittles plant in the normal pot is growing outwards rather than upwards now. I have a feeling that’s going to be spread out. I’m probably going to go in and LST them in the next few days so that they can start growing in the directions I would like.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

First flowering post - they arnt fully flowering yet tho I musta emit. I dunno why they all seem to be slow to sex but now there are a few pistols showing in the main growth mode so I’m v happy. The cheese plants are doing great. When I was LST’ing I must admit in order to make the canopy much more even I decided to try ‘supercropping??’ I pinched the stem enough for it to go soft and bend so I could get the highest growth node to the same height as all the others. It looked aweful after I did it but now after 24h it looks a lot better - really healthy even! I must admit I gave them a heavy dose of microbes and molasses just after bending and tying. Im sure that had a lot to do with the fast recovery. Full steam ahead to see some bloody pistols!!!!! Im working on which strains I want to grow next at the mo as well. Trying to get sweet seeds to send me some Tropicanna poison but not sure if they send test seeds to the UK. Probably not - we’ll see. Iv been wanting to grow that plant for aaaages. I’m also looking for a really decent gas strain. I been recommended NYCD. Havnt narrowed down a breeder yet tho. UPDATE - Saturday Thought I’d do a quick update just to say I added a few photos and a video from my security camera in there. It’s quite useful just to see how much they are stretching in a week. Not that I need to know it’s just cool. Also when I go away (as I do most weekends for about 2-3 days - sometimes more) I can just tune into the cam to make sure my physical security hasn’t been breached by any gangs lol. Well not any gangs just one - and they happen to be backed by the government. Lol I worry that when I’m away they will raid and leave me an arrest warrant after having stolen all my plants and meds. It’s a fairly dramatic fear but it’s not without its reasonings. I have been raided by the police number it’s times so it’s not a totally irrational fear - the difference is that I’m sober now (other than cannabis medicine of course) and so I’m not drawing attention to myself and bringing unwanted eyes on me and secondly (and maybe more important) I don’t actually sell drugs or weed or anything anymore so yeh. It’s a rational irrational fear lol I do believe the police have bigger fish to fry HOWEVER here in the UK it is still VERY illegal to grow so i have absolutely no doubt that given any chance they would happily relieve me of everything iv built up in the past 4 years (whilst being on probation I will add lol). The proof is in the pudding though. Every since I quit using heroin and benzodiazepines in favour of cannabis things have just been getting better and better and iv been able to function better and better also. I must admit I was worried for a while that cannabis took away my creativity when I used lots of it but I am learning that it was actually just the fact that my life was in a place I didn’t like and I was dealing with serious childhood trauma. When I was using heroin and benzos it allowed me to cover it in order to live my daily life (obviously, otherwise I wouldn’t have been willing to put up with the MANY negatives - there had to be something it was doing for me), however, when I took away the numbing opiates and benzos I had to start dealing with it and it was that trauma and having to deal with it which is why I wasn’t able to be creative. I’m an artist and so creativity is very important to me but for months, well years actually I just wasn’t able to paint or even play music really for that matter. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it, I think now because I was just preoccupied in my mind dealing with stuff. I won’t deny tho - that cannabis in excess DOES take away my motivation to get up off my ass and turn the TV or Netflix off though. I do have to watch out for that because If I’m not careful I can end up sitting there all day smoking when I should be out doing stuff and then I miss windows for my other crops where I can’t just turn the light source on and off whenever I feel like it - it’s quite hard to do that with the sun!! Anyway - I kind of use this space as a proper diary every now and again when I need to get something out. It’s not like anyone but me really reads these bits anyway so it doesn’t really matter!! Hell - even I don’t really read them tbh! UPDATE - I’m all jazzed up about growing again for sure. I somehow only just figured out really that you I can program different ‘scenes’ within my temp and humidity controllers. So anyway obviously the past month it’s been set to the veg/auto settings and I recently obviously had to switch it to the flower settings but I kind of forgot to lower the RH and adjust temp accordingly. So anyway that’s a long way of saying I did that lol. I’m definitely going to include another CBG seed in my new grow as I’m really interested in growing some hemp for medicinal use. Maybe as a tincture and or edibles, probably from rosin. It just seems to make sense rather than doing a nasty crude extraction using alcohol. The only trouble is I believe I sacrifice yield but then the flip side Is it would be less because there is less nasty shit. So I havnt narrowed down a specific breeder yet but iv been looking at a few. I was also looking at 1:1 CBD/CBG strains but they said they need more breeding before it brings the cbg ratios up in the majority of plants as it’s meant for people planting hundreds of seeds (from what I can gather). I received Fastbuds LSD-25, purple lemonade, chemdawg and I dunno something else but I’m kind of uninterested in growing them atm so they’ll stay in the vault. (which is growing pretty big now lol) To satisfy my purple craving I will be growing the sweet seeds Tropicanna poison as it looks banging and iv wanted to grow it since I sort of half grew the Dutch passion critical orange punch. So a long time. I will also be narrowing down two strains from the EU humboldt site. I intend to order tomorrow evening when I get paid as I’m always paranoid of them selling out. This is the only time iv really slowed down to choose what I want to grow. Also this is the first time iv chosen based on flavour first. I intend to cover sweet, sour, Chem and citrus with probably 4 THC dom strains and then the cbg variety also. I’m interested in starting to look at KNF but mainly from a vegetable plot perspective atm. I’m happy and comfortable using salt based nutrients now I’m not paying a lot for them and I’m not buying into the whole shipping a load of water philophosy - I do realise it can only get me so far tho. I do believe my allotment is a good place to start as I’m not reliant upon it. So if my practices don’t work it’s not as big of a deal to me. I rely on my cannabis crop - I can’t say the same about my veg yet.

A few things… Somehow I messed up the weeks and have an extra week for this diary but oh well I’m just continuing as it’s an extra veg week that’s been added so I am where I should be. Also my nutes - they come as powders and you dilute them into liquids to store so you have your concentrated bottles like any other bite (apart from about a 10th of the price) and then you dilute them to the correct ratio and add them to your water. I accidentally made the concentrate double strength this time round but it was halfway through a grow so I’m just continuing to add the amounts it would be if it were half strength so I don’t get confused for reference. I had a fan go about a week ago because I forgot it was on the floor when I flooded the res. It was tripping my electric so I stopped using it but these high RH values have made me reconsider. I found another cable and tried it again and it’s actually fine so I dunno what happened there but as least I’ll get a little more circulation. I’m debating whether to get a cheap dehumidifier for the room but all I can really find in my price range is Amazon stuff and I’m not convinced it would really work all that well. Also at an ambient of around 63% I’m not sure I really need it. I don’t want to risk bud rot true but I’m don’t think those numbers would do that. Iv certainly never had it so far. I do always top all my plants as well so that they aren’t as huge buds but I didn’t get to top them all loads on this run. Some twice. Most once. UPDATE So I noticed today I lst’d but where they’ve grown on and stretched they were very uneven in terms of canopy just with itself. Let alone uniformity between strains! So I decided to super crop? Not sure about the terminology but I pinched the stems and bent the stem over from the middle creating an awkward angle. I did do it before on one of these plants and tbh completely forgot to look for it after it healed but it’s obviously fine lol One of the kalini asias is the problem in terms of total uniformity between strains. The cheese and the monstor skittles - although looking different are about the same height. I am getting back in the room to the back plants to cut off unwanted growth and redirect energy - I should have waited til day 21 (today) and 42 anyway. I know next time. It’s amazing how much more I have to cut away that’s grown in a matter of like a week! I’m just watering in some molasses and ecothrive biosys microbes

Well another week and another 20L of res water over my floor! Autopots are great BUT you need to make sure to be careful not to knock the trays around because twice now iv disconnected the aqua valve from the inside of the tray leaving a hole in the line for the whole res to leak out. V ANNOYING! Oh well - other than that we are all good. I just applied for a medical cannabis prescription well I’m just awaiting the consultation now. Looks ok but expensive. We will see. My basic principle is that if I do happen to get exposed they can’t really charge me with a small personal grow when I’m being legally prescribed it. lol. It’s obviously not allowed in the Uk but yeh. It’s not much of a case. Grow is coming along nice. I really like the bending the stem over technique a lot. Give it a pinch and flop it over. I think it redistributes the growth hormones really nicely with not a lot of recovery time. Hoping my seeds are going to come this week..get that little veg tent going too. UPDATE - Sunday I decided to upload a couple of shots from my D-SLR. Doesn't really make a HUGE difference atm because there arnt really any trichs there. I also uploaded a shot of the trichs from my kast grow. Im trying to find software I can use to focus stack that I DONT have to pay for and its not been hugely successful. I used an online focus stack website to do this one and hoenstly I think it the same as one of the originals I laoded in there. I cant see a better depth of field really lol I uploaded two. One of them is all mixed up at the righthand side and the other just doesnt seem like a blend lol

Looking good so far but I am a little concerned about the general humidity in my room. I need a 6” fan and filter rather than the 4.5” one I have atm. I do have the money for it but I’m applying for a Uk medical cannabis prescription which is private and costs a fuck load. I get paid again in a few days but it would take most of it. I wouldn’t usually be concerned but I was perusing peoples diaries earlier and there were a few where people got bud mould. I guess we’ll see right? I probably will buy the ac infinity one to be honest they have a very good reputation and iv heard generally good things. They don’t even seem to be stupidly expensive either really so yeah.

I spoke to my plants today and they said they were super depressed because they were pregnant and they wanted me to kill them right there and then. I’m order words… Annoyingly my plants hermied and therefore I think are busy creating seeds and not fattening up. Bit of a waste of 3 months but hey ho, it did learn a lot the hard way. Not sure what the bud will be like we will see but iv basically lost interest in them now I know a lot are impregnated. At least I’ll get a load of S1’s and f1 crossed from seeds from it but it’s just annoying! Some of them smell rele nice and some just look really scraggy. I’ll be interested to see how they develop over the next couple weeks but I really don’t have high hopes. It is getting super busy in there now. The canopy is crazy. Iv learnt that I would probably replace the tubing in my AutoPot system for each run. I learned that I shouldn’t use perlite to put at the bottom of my pots with my AirDomes. It comes out the bottom and clogs the aqua valves. I don’t think I’d bother with the airdomes anymore tbh. I never price a difference and the couple inches it takes up at the bottom of the pot is just wastes media space. I’m just about to start my next rounds seeds to pique my interest coz I’m SICK of this round!!! UPDATE : Just waiting for these to finish off now. Most of them are starting to look a lot better than I thought they would but there is one plant that just looks horrible. Super skinny, feels super seeded too but it’s fine coz that’s where most the genetics will come from tbf. Should just be fem cheese S1 seeds. I’m also super happy because I was told yesterday that iv been accepted as a UK medical cannabis patient. It’s good for me mainly coz if I’m raided I think they would have a hard time charging me in court if I’m prescribed it but it’s just too expensive . I can’t even see the UK courts being that nasty

Man just looking at the plant of skittles right by there entrance there are so many seeds. Stupid amount of seeds to be honest but what can I do now. Nothing. Well ice hash of some sort actually! Yeh not good. I’m hoping the one at the back of the tent has faired better - it looks like it has from a far. It’s hard to tell really. I’m going to leave them going for one more week, maybe two but probably not. I must admit they are very sticky and smell really nice I’m just annoyed at the amount of seeds! Edit: Thursday So I actually fought through the canopy to take some extra pictures of the zkittlez plant further back and it looks much better than the one at the front. Having said that, I pulled a small branch early and even though it had seeds in it it doesn’t really effect me as much as I thought it would because I vape anyway so it’s not like I have nasty tasting exploding joints or anything. It just means the weed won’t be as good. I am glad I found out the hard way with these plants and not the round after though. In slightly better news my mushrooms grow bags are coming along really nicely. I should be ready to make my mono tub and casing and stuff soon. Probably buy a food dehydrator as well actually as im growing a load of tomatoes I don’t really like unless they are dehydrated. I dont really want my shrooms going off so I’ll just dry them and save them for when needed. They are starting to finish slowly now. I can see leaves starting to fall off and stuff at the back but I Daren’t move them to remove the leaves because every time iv done that in this grow iv moved the AutoPot system and it’s all flooded out onto the floor like 40l of water so I’m just not going there anymore! I’m probably going to buy another XL system so I am able to grow 3 or 4 XL ones and the rest the normal ones. Maybe not but either way I’m only doing 6 plants next time I think. Well I only have 6 popped atm.

Overall I know one of these zkittlez plants is absolutely Lauren with seeds which is a bit annoying. The tops don’t seem as bad so I’ll probably give them a dry squeeze then snip them, keep them and de-stalk then dry ice sift the rest. I have wanted to press some dry ice hash in my rosin press basically since iv had it so if I keep the tops then do that with the popcorn/seed Laiden yet sticky and trichomy stuff as well as the trim I should get enough hash to be able to press some. Honestly I really like hash as well so I’d probably keep some of that as well but I guess in reality I would probably use the rosin more than the hash as I now have an enail as part of my new Ceroma vape and I would obviously get less left over residue by removing those trichome shells which have wax’s and lipids and stuff in them so I guess it does make more sense to actually press it. It’s just hash is easier to handle in my experience that’s all
