Had to start over, the last seeds rotted so instead of using a paper towel and peat pods I am putting seeds directly in the soil. All seeds poked their head out. 2 are doing great and are about a week ahead of the other 2 that just came out. Had to use new seeds for the 2 that are late as birds got the seeds

How much water should be added to a plant at each stage per day? Is it better to skip a day? Was thinking of doing a flood once a day but not really sure about exact values of water. Outdoor plants in full sun and south facing in northern hemisphere

Per day? Never water each day unless your in a tiny pot and in a media mix- something heavy with coco. I see your in week one, I also have a seedling in week 1, Its currently in a 55mm jiffy pellet and im giving it maybe 15 mls of water a day just to keep the pellet damp. Its outside in 30-50% humidity atm and its around 30C here each day too. Once its in soil outside, I will water it every 3 -5 days for the first two weeks, And not much water each time either... After that its every 5-7 days and its gets a bit more water than when it was every 3-5 days. Cannabis plant roots need more oxygen than most people realize and if you water that often, you wont be letting air in as the media will be saturated with water. But the biggest issue u face if you water too often is root rot, water every day if the soil isnt dry enough to need it and you WILL eventually get root rot outdoors. The other thing thats vital in veg is you NEED to be a bit mean to them when they are big enough to take it, thats about week 4 or so. Thats when you start watering a bit less often or a smaller amount than normal now and again and make the plants roots hunt out water and grow bigger, bigger roots = bigger plant= bigger buds. If u water all the time why would the plant waste energy growing bigger roots?? it wont. It doesnt need to, cause your bottle feeding the baby instead of being mean. Good parents make bad growers normally until they learn this..lols. And if the plant has small roots going into flower u get smaller buds and plant gets stressed easily. So cant say how much to use and how often, the weather changes so your watering has to adapt too. When the plants need it, thats when you water when they are around 4 week old, When they look thirsty and the soil looks dry. Outdoors i get sunburnt just watching my plants grow each day and not doing anything to them, if you watch them enough you will learn what they look like when they have just been watered, when they are still happy from last watering, when they look thirsty and when they really REALLY need a drink. Its all stuf fu learn with time and by watching the plant. But if you need a rough rule of thumb, less water more often when smaller, more water less often as they get bigger. In veg its vital at least a few times you let them wilt a lil bit from lack of water, just a slight wilt ok, very very minor, and then give them a bigger than average soaking. But later on in the veg cycle too, not too soon.

The Sour Diesel and Caramelicious are doing great and standing at about 1". The Blue Dream and Gelato first seeds planted were pilfered by birds so they are about a week late and have just popped out of the dirt.

Removing all strains except this Sour Diesel as it will be easier to have one plant per diary since 2 of the plants are lagging behind quite a bit due to some mishaps (birds). This is week 4 for the Sour Diesel and it looks to be doing well. Will start SCROG training at this point so that there is no stress to the plant when it is flowering. Update: Plant is now 6.5 inches in height and doing well. Decided with this first grow that I will not mess with the SCROG method and will wait until next crop

It appears that flowering has started for this plant. Moved water up to 1 liter per day or every other day. Using mulch to keep the soil moist has helped with evaporation through the day due to low humidity.

Not sure what is up with the Pot Size setting and the Watering Volume Per Plant Per 24H, when I click on "l" or "gal" on either of them, it also changes the other accordingly. Plant is healthy and getting taller with a lot of flowering happening. The smell is getting pretty good. At this point I am still giving the plant 1 liter of water per day. There is a praying mantis that is standing guard on the plant, it's in the pics for this weeks growth pics.

Plant is getting big and wide. Giving 1.5 liter of water per day. Buds appear to be forming well. Using Fox Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. Praying Mantis is still around doing guard duty for this lady! The smell is quite nice.
