First run on coco. Going with the Canna line and feeling pretty good about it.
SP3000 set at about 24" around 25-30%.
Any tips or recommendations feel free to shoot em out there!
Learned a bit this first week.
Switched up the set up in the tent a few times and didn't take light adjustment into consideration. Feeling like the plant on the left could stretch a bit more but keeping the light around 24" should so the trick.
Also, fed way too heavy the initial feeding switching from CannaStart to A&B. Minor signs of nute burn is coming into play with the tips but I dropped from 800+ PPM down to 5-600PPM 😆🤦♂️.
Taking notes on each feeding including Ph, PPM and EC so I'm cool with going through some lessons on this first run.
Either way I think they're truckin right along! Sitting on Day 12 from seed, I honestly feel like they're crankin!
Any comments, questions or suggestions are welcome!
Updating two days early but wicked happy with the progress so far. Starting to understand the strain and what it likes to be fed so just trying to adapt to it and really lock in on a smooth feeding schedule.
Have been against pruning in the past but couldn't resist attempting "Nebulas Manifold" and finally topped after the 6th node finally developed this morning. Topped on the 3rd node with leaving a stump for connection and trimmed the remaining nodes below. Was pretty surprised at how much they were reaching when I check in on them tonight but happy to see they're still crankin.
Time to wait for the 4th node and top again.
As always, any questions, comments or suggestions are always welcome! Thanks!
Definitely learning some lessons from the manifold attempt. I'd say I have to definitely train more horizontal on the original top but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. Looking forward to topping down to the 3rd node most likely tomorrow! With that being said, I'd imagine having the final set up could be a bit easier to train. Once I'm able to remove the second node it will open up a solid amount of space and light for the 1st node.
On another note I became extremely confident in regards to feeding. Dancing around 690-700PPM's seems to be working very well right now. Consistent PH at 5.9 as well.
Looking forward for the next week in regards to topping and training. Depending on training and pruning time, I'd like to flip within the next 2-3 weeks. Maybe sooner.
As always, any comments or suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!
Still learning day by day. Felt like I should back track a bit on the amount of nutes I have been feeding so I did almost cut my dosage in half for the past two watering. So far, so good.
Training the girl on the right is a breeze (almost at the point where I would just let her be) but feel the need to keep training her to get down to the girl on the lefts height.
Other than that, knock on wood, things are going well in my opinion!
Another week or so of veg then it's time to flip! Can't wait!
Sorry I was a bit short on the update last week everyone!
Anyway, damn we are crankin! Day 6 of flower right now and so far we're seeing 10 inches on the stretch so far. The SP3000 is not around 12-14 inches above the canopy set a bit over 75%.
I've recently started following Exotic Genetic's "Mike aka Big Stimmy or the million other nicknames lol" and I'm currently following his defol and climate schedule. As of now, Day 14 will be a big overhaul on trimming, 50% down and the big fans up top as well as a double check for any herms.
I'm feeling somewhat confident that it will be a pretty smooth flower avoiding any stress but with this being my first time with an LED and coco, light intensity and nutrient feeding is my focus right now.
Excited to get through the next 7 days so I can trim these girls up lol they need a haircut!
As always, thanks for everything and feel free to share any comments or suggestions! See yall next week!
