Islandthc Soaked seeds in water for 24 hours, then moved them to paper towel in a Tupperware container for 1-2 days until 1/2 inch tap root.
They were then planted in 4 inch pots with reused and re-amended soil.
After a week I transplanted 6 into 10 inch 3 gallon pots with pro mix.
I had a couple seedlings showing signs of root rot but when I transplanted they had already corrected themselves and have plenty of very white roots. Problem was caused by my watered the seedlings probably a day or two earlier than I should have, not a huge deal.
I am pheno hunting the BBM first to keep a mother and a father for breeding stock, as well as pheno hunting a mom and a dad of greenroom, which is a CBD strain, 12/14%.
Planning on doing a seed run for blueberry and then making some crosses as well, with greenroom, as well as one of my own moms of a different cultivar.

Islandthc Week two, plants are really starting to takeoff after being transplanted into 10 inch parts with Pro Mix. Watering just water pH to 6.4. I have topped three of the plants, two blueberry muffins, and one green room. The two blueberry muffins that I topped showed sex two days after topping. For anyone who is wondering or doesn’t believe that plants will show sex at 2 to 4 weeks here is your proof. Green room is really staying squat and growing lateral branches very strong without topping. All in all I feel like the plants are doing good, the blueberry muffins are recovering from pre-transplant root rot, the green room never got any root rot while seedlings, which is weird because they both had the same watering schedule, this just goes to show you the difference in genetics

Islandthc Nothing special, just watching them grow, all but two have now been topped at the 4th node. I had to defoliate one greenroom because it’s main fans were so big virtually no light getting to the lower branches. They should all start showing sex pretty soon. Also they have had two rounds of foliar fed ocean magic by green planet, all are looking healthy.

Islandthc Things are starting to move a little faster now, great roots on all plants, 4 out of 5 BBM have shown their sex and have gotten 2 males and 2 females, and the last one has yet to show. None of the 4 greenroom have shown any signs of sex yet. One of the greenroom on two branches started triploiding their nodes which I’ve never seen midway through a plants growth I’ve always had triploids start from seed at the cotyledons. Other than than, I will be taking clones soon to keep as moms and then put the seed plants into flower.
@love_2_grow, thanks a lot. I am technically new to this community on GD, but to tell you the truth I’ve been lurking on here for quite a while. Good to be here though for sure
@DaGrowQueen, thanks a lot, it’s my hobby, along with my medicine. Soon I will be taking multiple cuttings from each plant and they will be growing in coco on the flood table and put into flower so I will be able to fully document each cultivars entire growth cycle. Then I will be able to make an educated decision on which ones to keep for breeding stock. Cheers.
