Cold_Farmer Welcome to a new round of autoflowers from RQS.
Many thanks to the RQS team for this wonderful package. My choice was White Widow Automatic, the normal White Widow is already a legend.
I'm very excited to see the result. So, let's go !

Cold_Farmer Day 1:
All germinated within 4 days. In addition to the four White Widow Autos, I have germinated two other strains from RQS and will partially mention them here as well. One of the four will move outside as soon as the weather here allows it. I put another one in a normal plastic pot of the same size instead of the fabric pots in order to be able to see the differences here. So the plan is as follows:
2 ladies in cloth pots with LST and topping/LST
1 lady in a plastic pot with topping/LST
1 lady outside in a plastic pot with topping/LST
I'm curious how they will develop...
Due to the amount of photos to be expected, I will not log every day but the important ones and at the end of the week the differences.
Update:
The last two have now moved to the big pots. Now it's time to wait and watch it grow

Cold_Farmer Week 2:
I am happy with the growth of the little ones. I've now started adding a little fertilizer to the water. The selected soil dries well and is very airy. Much better than the last one I had. There are hardly any differences between the individual plants. But you still notice the 2 day delay in germination.
What surprises me about this round is the distance between the nodes. It is very small and the plants remain compact. I haven't had that either.
At the weekend there will finally be more space in the tent. I can finally harvest another autoflower.
However, the bad news comes from the weather forecast. It won't be warm here for the next few weeks, so I guess I'll have to leave everyone inside the tent after all...

Everything is going according to plan. The topping has been done on all 4 plants and they handled it well.
P4 has now moved outside to the terrace. Even though it's still too cold at night, it’s supposed to be a comparison test ;-)

Cold_Farmer Week 5:
The plants in the tent are sticking to the schedule and starting to bloom. Unfortunately, they are a bit weakened by the pests. I just can't get rid of them.
Not much is happening outside. It’s probably due to the weather up here on the mountain. It's just still too cold, especially at night.

Cold_Farmer Week 6:
The houseplants have grown very large. Unfortunately, they are weakened by pests, and the use of natural predators hasn't had the desired effect. So off to the garden center to get some neem oil again...
And another comparison between indoor and outdoor growing. Indoors, they are unfortunately weakened by insects, but they are already in the second week of flowering and have grown tall and strong. The outdoor plant is compact, has beautiful strong leaves, and an even sturdier stem. There are no signs of flowering yet. However, it looks more robust and vigorous.

Cold_Farmer Unfortunately, the plants were severely damaged by the insects. That's why they've all been moved outside now. I hope they recover a bit and the remaining pests get eaten out here. The tent is being disinfected now.
Now the last plant (the one that's been outside the whole time) has started to flower. It looks much better than its sisters.

Cold_Farmer You can see the different growth of the plants in the pictures. Unfortunately, three of them had an infestation in the tent. The one that was outside is growing slower, but it's much stronger. You can also see a difference between the pots. The one in the plastic pot seems to be stronger than the other two in the fabric pots. Let's see if there are any differences at harvest time.

Cold_Farmer After the weather has gotten worse again, and I had the tent free again after cleaning it, one plant has moved indoors. The two in the fabric pot will stay outside. P4 is slowly catching up and is forming thicker branches and getting more robust. At first the smallest, now already the biggest.

Cold_Farmer Due to my upcoming vacation and the maturity of P1, I decided to harvest P1 early. Unlike 2 and 3, the plant developed faster in the plastic pot. Additionally, there were better conditions in the tent with 16 hours of light. Still, I'm a bit disappointed with over 30g of dry weight. It was probably due to the insects in the first weeks. They drained too much energy from the plant.

Cold_Farmer The last pictures before the vacation. P4 stays outside and is hanging there on the irrigation. Fertilization is done with sticks.
P2 and P3 have moved into the tent with 2 more plants. Since the other two are not autos, I had to switch the lighting to 12 hours. This will definitely affect the yield. Additionally, they should actually be harvested in 2 weeks... only I'll still be at the beach then. Fertilization is done automatically through irrigation. I hope everything works out.

Cold_Farmer Sooo, three weeks of vacation are over. I was a bit nervous since the plants were only taken care of by the tech the whole time. And it worked. Everyone survived. And P4 has turned into a bud monster. Unfortunately, the leaf ratio is very high. It will probably be a more complicated harvest. The plan is to start with P2 and P3 next week and then later P4. From today on, there will only be pure water for drinking.

Cold_Farmer The cultivation had its ups and downs. In summary, the outdoor plant saved my round. The combination of fabric pot and raised bed soil wasn't the best either. This caused too much water to evaporate and slowed down growth.
P1 (plastic pot and mostly in the tent): 171 wet, 30 dry
P2 (fabric box tent + outside + tent 12 hours lighting): 172 wet
P3 (fabric box tent + outside + tent 12 hours lighting): 102 wet
P4 (only outside): awesome 630g, but a lot of leaves between the monster buds, result dry just 70g, I discarded half.
All in all, I'm quite satisfied with the run and gained many new insights for next year.
A big thank you to RQS for the free package as part of the contest!
The germination pellets are great. I can't say anything specific about the fertilizer now, as I used some others as well. The fabric pots look nice, but with the soil I'm using, they're not "compatible.
P4 is really a very good phenotype. Great outdoor grow! My ww auto looks completely different 😄 crazy how wide the range of phenotypes is with this genetics..
@GermanGrow182, unfortunately, it only looks that good in the photo. Now that it's drying, you can see it hardly has any buds. I guess it's because I was surfing in France during the most important phase of flowering and had to rely on the nutrient sticks. The harvest from P4 should be dry by Sunday, tomorrow I will trim P2 and P3 and put them in jars. Then I'll have a direct comparison. I've already tried P1. Good stuff for the afternoon, keeps you clear-headed but happy, in a good mood, and takes away my pain.
@Cold_Farmer, Nice. Is that the whole plant? If so maybe you'll get 100+ g. If bud maybe closer to 200. Usually you expect to lose 3/4 of weight in the dry as you know.
Great job pal
Thanks for the documentation. I'm (a beginner) also planning to grow the white widow autos outside. Since I'm a bit unsure about watering, I would then orient myself to your amounts (it worked pretty well). Did you water the specified amount daily, except for the time with the irrigation system, or for example, every other day?
