So had a bad lockout due to bad ph meter and didn't know i was feeding my girls low ph water smh so soils ph was at 5.3 smh so now I did all requirements needed to get her better and they do look better but do have a weird smell at weeks 6, they smell like wet Sox. I have great ventilation and air flow so I know it ain't bud rot but idk let's see what happens π€ I could just be paranoid, idk?? But anyhow happy growing guy's ND safe up! Peace βοΈ
@CrazyHorse, so am I.... but we'll get there sooner or later! I hope I don't mess up on my first grow. Did alots of studying before jumping into action, now I'm just nervous to mess up but hope everything goes smoothly
@PEACEMAKER, This site is social media done right, where we help each other without all of the constant bickering found elsewhere. Welcome to the gang!
Hey good luck with the first grow. Try to keep her leaning good even horizontal if possible till she starts stretching for flowering and let her branches climb. πͺπ±
@Roberts, Thanks Rob I highly appreciate you! Hey I have a question brother? I put salt in my humidifier for more steam will that harm my plant's? I'll really appreciate it π
Hello, there friend, Congratulations on getting into cannabis growing! Would you be alright with me offering some general pointers for you? So cannabis plants love heat and humidity. The buds HATE it, In veg we can exploit this for much more vigorous, Faster growth. We want to look for temperatures of 79-84 MAX in veg & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. We want to keep our temperature gap's tight between lights on and lights off if we allow for too much temperature fluctuation at this stage of growth our plants will stretch a lot we do not want that. In the first few weeks of veg we can utilize humidity of 60-70% to great effect if we combine our temp & humidity to use a VPD chart and optimize both together, VPD stands for vapor pressure deficit. All new growers should learn this and get used to using a VPD chart. Here is a great article on it and the chart I use.

When we are in flower temperature control is very important to how our buds will develop. If our rooms are too hot we get big airy buds with not very much resin, If our rooms are too cold we will get very dense caked buds but lose a lot of size. We want the best of both worlds, To achieve that we want to look for temperatures of 77-80MAX with lights on and no more than 9 degrees less with lights off, Once our plants finish growing vertically by weeks 4-6 of flower we want to then open up our temperature gaps as by now our plant's responses to this environmental stress have changed. Now instead of stretch, they will put extra energy into the budding and resin production processes. If you haven't done so already get yourself a PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun like the fluke 64 MAX, These pieces of equipment will really help you read your plant's needs and better grow to them. If you do not have them get some pulleys for your lights like the sun grip light pulleys they are great to adjust your light to plant distance.
If you have any questions or need any help please do not hesitate to ask, Just follow my profile & DM me! If you are interested, Check out my youtube page it is linked to my grow diaries profile. I am going to be releasing a tutorial series for all levels of growers very shortly starting by April 20th. I hope you will check it out. Happy growing!
@PEACEMAKER, off course man! I studied a lot before starting this first grow of mine so I was prepared when I started. Wasn't expecting the nitrogen toxicity I'm having cause both the dry amendments in the soil, veg and bloom nutes were always 1/4 of the recommended dose. I hope she'll grow out of it. So far she is still going strong despite The Claw lmao
When you do LST you can move the branche in between you're fingers and roll it a little bit, this will make the branche more soft and easier to bend in any specific place of choice. Good luck fellow grower!ππ»πππ»
