Germination

Both seeds popped in about 48 hours and were planted into a Nature's Living Soil Autoflower blend/ Ocean Forest mix with a solo cup-sized plug of Miracle-Gro Seed starting mix for the seeds to get started in. LP1 had the shell stuck on the cotyledons and needed me to remove it gently after a misting to loosen it a bit.

Things are going smoothly so far. LP2 is a bit of an oddball at this point but looks like it may grow out of it. The only thing I'm doing is giving them distilled water that has been PH'd to 6.5 as needed.

Things are going smoothly still. LP2 is growing out of the strange curling it started with and is now looking a tad more vigorous than LP1. Not much to report other than a tiny bit of burn showing on LP1. They were planted into a plug of seedling soil surrounded by FFOF with Nature's Living Soil auto mix so it is without a doubt a hot soil. Nothing Showing on LP2 so far.

Growth has been pretty explosive so far this week! These girls don't seem to show any sign of the soil mix being too hot for them with the mix of FFOF and Natures Living Soil. In a few days, I will begin LST on both to get them prepped for the switch we know is coming soon enough! Preflowers are showing now on day 21 and I started their LST as well.

This week I started LST on both girls and was happy with how they took to it. Fast Buds suggests this strain for LST, so I didn't have much concern in that regard but you never know! Both LP1 and LP2 are moving along very nicely and have hit maturity, showing sex now for about 5 days. LP2 has a strange issue showing on just one lower fan leaf. I'm not super concerned about it yet, it isn't showing anywhere else but I would like to figure out exactly what it is. Shouldn't be any kind of def, we haven't even been in the soil long enough to have depleted the FFOF let alone the NLS. It's been 4 days and has worsened over that time, but very slightly and still only on the one leaf. I went ahead and removed it last night. I haven't seen any more of the spotting over the last few days and finished the final LST. I won't be messing with any more training as I'm pretty positive apical dominance is broken and with my first autoflower run, I want to take things nice and easy. Based on the look of both of them at the end of this week, I'd guess the flower stretch is coming soon.

It is a very slight orange spotting that almost appears like the start of a calcium def, but without actually creating necrosis. It looks almost like the orange spots are on the surface of the leaf. Nothing on the bottom and it's only showing on the one fan leaf.

I don't see any information on the nutes you're giving this grow ... the only mention is in your comment for the week... Autoflowers do not like a whole lot of nutes so I'm thinking perhaps you've overdosed and created a lockout. At this point, I'd check the pH of your runoff, if that's out of whack you'd need to do a flush. If it's ok, I would definitely add some microbes to help the roots out and prevent any more nastiness from occuring... It's definitely NOT the start of a calmag deficiency - there's not one sign of that so chuck that idea out the window. There are two micronutrients this MIGHT be the start of a deficiency of - sulpher and/or magnesium - both are solved with epsom salts (add 1-2 tsps per gallon) and in any event will not harm your plants. All in all, though, your grow looks amazing and I'm not convinced this is something you really need to worry about at this point. Good luck and enjoy the grow!

The minor issues that began showing last week have come on much stronger this week. I am struggling to figure out the issue. They were both given recharge this week but the issues keep coming. I have never run into issues like this so early on in a grow, and the only major change I made this cycle was the addition of the Natures Living soil autoflower concentrate.

I decided to go ahead and feed very lightly some beastie bloom as well as some calmag at the end of this week. I have been waiting for the last 10 days to see exactly what the issues I'm dealing with seem to be. I finally decided a light feeding was the route to go, so lets see what happens.

The girls are filling out well. There are still some signs of deficiency with some yellowing and what looks like calcium issues.

The yellowing from last week spread rapidly this week, and I am still seeing signs of calcium def. However, on the plus side, there is some beautiful purple the strain is known for beginning to creep in as well. If only I had chosen to use a regular soil mix and stayed away from this Natures living soil mix from the get-go!

These girls are almost done and have an absolutely amazing smell to them. Despite fighting the worst nute issues I've had in a grow, they are producing surprisingly well and have taken on some really beautiful colors regardless. I will be starting the last Lemon Pie as soon as these are completed, and you can bet I will be leaving out the Natures Living Soil!

This is their last week and the color and smell are both really nice! They will be getting the chop tomorrow, so I look forward to an update once they are dried and sampled!
