Got this slammed cut from a buddy that needed some space. It's been in a clone shipper for 3 days now. So I thought I'd revive her with a quick acting jump juice mix of my own creation. Gonna stick her in the veg room in the corner in the next couple of days, until I have time to make room for her. This pheno is supposed to smell like a Christmas tree. Let's hope
Plant looking way better than it did after being in a clone shipper for 3 days. repotted and pre amended the Jobe's All purpose for 8 weeks. The GH is there to cover the plant until the the all purpose starts to break down in about a week. The blood and bone meal will not be available for at least 2 weeks as they are long term food for the soil microbes.
fully recovered and growing well. Starting to get her pine smell. Going to do some LST next week and get this girls canopy ready for a flop to flower. I also want to keep this pheno to do some breeding at a later date.
This one is turning into a monster quickly. Need to clone it to keep lineage. I seem to have a spider mite issue forming. I've ordered predatory mites to fight them off. Fingers crossed I get rid of them.
gave plant a good spray down with warm water to dislodge mites. Also treated with castile soap and vinegar wash under all the leaves. Applied predatory mites the next day. So far no sign yet, fingers crossed.
fungus gnat issue resolved with some Raid earth blends. Predatory mites deployed into the canopy to eradicate a 2 spotted spider mite bloom. Can't wait to plant this outdoors for the season.
beating out as they sit there waiting for the weather to be good enough to plant outside, they will be going in this weekend finally. Just cant wait to see them at the end of the season
lots of work went into moving these girls outside. They are in a nice sunny and protected spot now. Can't wait to see these girls grow up. Gave them the best start I could. Season is a bit late here this year too.
left the girls to settle into their new environment. Have been watering every 4 days or so, not much rain this week. Plants are looking good and showing some signs of leaf growth which means the roots have already branched out. Chitosal as a root drench is supposed to help with drought tolerance and salt stress, no salt stress here as we are organic. Next week things to do: 1) spread and re-stake plants. 2) create a top amendment feeding and watering bowl under each plant with some chicken wire.
did some LST to this girl. We were in the middle of a mini drought but we did get 6mm of rain yesterday. So that will help with growth a lot. I also watered them with a whopping 9 gal each day before the rain. So I am expecting some excellent growth over the coming week. Ive been looking for an inexpensive source of granulated humic and fulvic acids if anyone knows of a source in southern Ontario.
Well I can tell you that these girls have sent a tap root right down into the water table and can feed as they want. They are starting to hulk out i just wish we could get some more steady rainfall it would help with the growth. Gave her a foliar spray of marinis liquid seaweed and armour si. Will continue with the foliar sprays of armour si weekly until flower. Ater that I will switch to watering the armour si in. Silica is so important for great cannabis.
So I decided to do bi weekly foliar sprays with the Liquid seaweed on top of the weekly Silica foliar sprays. I can say that I am seeing amazing results the plants are growing from every which way and getting nice and lush. Just pray for some rain!
Girls are starting to show pre flower. Thanks goodness the light pollution in the pot patch is 0. Will add some bloom amendments next week, although they got some bone meal not too long ago. Did another foliar spray as next week may be the last time I will be able to deliver nutrients in that manner. NEVER foliar spray buds! Unless you want to get bud rot.
first week of full flower, plant is looking good. 2nd last foliar spray of the year yay! We are getting there. Should be 7 to 9 weeks from now depending on weather. I'd LOVE to see some rain.
just chugging right into the 2nd week of flower. This variety is 8 week flower on the nose, so Ive got 6 weeks left on this one. Will prob be the first plant I harvest this year. Pray for consistent rain for the next 6 weeks
sorry for the late update the farm dog went missing a couple of days b4 my weekly visit to the pot patch. I spent the entire week looking for her. We did eventually find her exactly 1 week after she went missing. plants are doing well. 3rd week into bloom did a bit of house keeping on the interior of the plant. no big defoliations though I dont believe in that on outdoor plants. not a hint of PM and very very strong branches now thanks to all the foliar sprays with Silica.
a week after the 100mm storm and just some spitting since then. To get good buds this plant needs regular water, so I hope mother nature starts giving us some more regular rain here.
Girls are stacking nicely just wish we would get some more consistent rain so they can really shine. Added some liquid seaweed to help the bloom along. lets see how she stacks from here.
this girl is not really liking the cooler weather like the other two are. I hope bud growth continues, no PWM present but plant has already started to go purple from 1 mini frost. we will see what happens.
coming along nicely, this one did not like the low temps. I found 1 bud with some rot on it, cut that out. NO PWM thanks to the foliar sprays of Si. Buds did not grow much from last week to this one due to cold temps. This is an indoor strain here or its going to need to be crossed with something that likes the cooler fall temps.
just putting on weight, very cool nights and days in the teens are making these girls bulk up quickly regardless of sun or overcast. Had some more frost without any effect. Girls should be fine; this one should be done by next week. Let's hope. went down to -4c but cannot put that in above, must be a bug.

Happy Harvest Day!
Bay Area Cannabis Ya Hemi Photoperiod - Custom Breeder & Strain
point on this variety. 1) Does not like to be cloned. 2)Does not like to be LST. This one will snap if you even look at them wrong. I strongly suggest weekly foliar sprays of Si to help with pliability. 3)Sensitive to cold here dicey as to if it will finish on time. This year weather co operated, that is usually not the case. I wouldn't grow this one outdoors again.
