WHITEDREAM#1- we are a week and a couple days of flushing left then they will be placed in darkness for 48 hours then later on trim and chopped and ready to be hung up until dry about 2 weeks or if 10 days even better. WHITEDREAM#2 and #3- will be given a nutrients for a couple more weeks. I AM GOING TO PLACE HOW MUCH I FEED MY PLANT AS OF RIGHT NOW UNDER HERE. Well your in soil, and flushing in soil is not recommended if you really dont have to- Tends to cause more issues than its worth. Your best bet in soil is to just stop all additional nutes and run plain water for the last 2-3 weeks and let the plant use up whats there and whats stored up. I grow outdoors in soil and my only concern ive ever had is i switched to plain water too soon- wishing I ran nutes a week or two longer as the buds ended up taking longer than expected... So I know it works as its obvious the plant is hungry a week or even two sooner than Id have liked it to be, and Im directly into the ground so not like I could flush even If I wanted to. Thats how I know just switching to water and allowing the plant to use up what is there works. its just getting the timing right thats the hard part-too soon and the plant goes hungry and starts to fade the leaves early, too late and there are still some low levels of nutes left in the soil and plant. 2 weeks is about the shortest time you want and 3 weeks seems to be the longest. The sweet spot is in there somewhere depending on strain and how much nutes are in the soil. If you fed alot its prob closer to 3 weeks, but if you were just feeding normal then aim closer to two weeks ok.

Forget the darkness thing, it is BS, based on one flawed study that turned into an internet myth. It does not work 100% of the time and/or with 100% of strains. Botanically, extended darkness would cause a plants metabolism to almost stop and an almost stopped metabolism would not be able to prevent THC breaking down into CBD and CBN, 2 non psychoactive cannabinoids. Technically, your buds would have less THC and more CBD after extended darkness, therefore I would highly recommend not doing it, unless you want buds with reduced THC and elevated CBD levels. I prefer to dry trim, this way the moisture goes out through the leaves instead of the buds. If you wet trim, then all the moistue goes out through the buds, which can then take some of the terpenes away too. No need to drown your plants when "flushing", all you need to do for a flush is give plain water, nothing else, in normal quantities at at normal intervals. All you are trying to achieve is for the plants to get rid of any fertilizer salts in its system. Flushing is not an exercise in drowning the bejeezus out of your plant, this just causes your buds to become hyper hydrated, which can then lead to mold issues when drying. Flushing should really be renamed "fertilizer witholding period". After years of experimentation, I find that harvesting in the morning, about an hour after dawn/lights on seems to produce the tastiest buds. Hope this helps, Organoman.

@AUTOFLOWERBOYY, it can been done with or without ph the water. I personally like keeping the ph in range and plant trying to grow vs throwing ph out and plant just is in lock out till harvest. If you use nutrition it's best to get some of that out. Flushing is very controversial. In organic I don't belive it's necessary. If using bottle nutes then I recommend it. I have done the test before and after. I personally will always flush, and push for plant to fade.
