Second attempt at growing indoors. My first try failed pretty much all around, but I learned a ton from it. This seed was started in a peat cup, which I later learned is widely despised for starting cannabis seeds. On Day 5, I carefully peeled the cup off of the seedling and moved it to a 5 gallon pot. Transplant seemed to be a success and it's growing happily.
It's really getting big this week, growth has taken off. I've started LST now that 5 nodes have shown up and started to gently bend the main stem down and shift the lower branches
Started LST a bit more aggressively this week. The stalk is getting very thick and it's putting in an inch or two per day. Also started adding some N after giving it a taste of Big Bloom earlier in the week. It really responded well to the tea so I'm adding Grow Big to the mix. No sign of burn the following day.
Now it's really starting to take off. The LST is pretty much complete, there's few places left to tie down. The stalk is really sturdy and I have about 11 bud sites. It's a nice rich, green color and is starting to smell. Fungus Gnat problem has been resolved too. I used Organacide sprayed on the soil with yellow sticky paper up on the walls.
Just flower nutes at this point. Watering 3 times a week, once with the nutes. It's a really thirsty plant and rarely has any runoff, even with a full gallon of water in a 5 gal pot. Around the flowers, the sugar leaves are starting to get frosty, which is exciting to see. First time I've had a plant make it this far.
Had a lot of fungus gnats in the soil. Tried different soaks throughout flower and just couldn't shake them. Found quite a few in the buds when trimming...it was like a big glue plant. Luckily that was the worst of the bug issues.
