Despite popular advice to the contrary, I did transplant these because I started them in peat cups. Another no-no apparently. I caught this early before they became rootbound in the cup and moved them on Day 7 to an outdoor 5 gal pot. They are thriving now!
Heat stress (canoeing of the leaves) is present, which makes sense given that it's been 90+ for a week now. It also has been getting a lot of rain/storm watering lately/
In 3 days there was about 3 inches of growth, I suspect this had to do with some intense rain that we had. Unfortunately I think there might be some spider mites that have found my plant based on the spots. Going to get neem oil today to be safe.
This would probably be a great time to start LST. However, since this is both my first auto grow and my first outdoor grow, I'm just going to let nature do its thing and see how they grow. I do have a White Widow growing indoors which I'm LST"ing, primarily because I'm height restricted. Still have a few Sour Diesel seeds and will LST next year to compare yields
In 4 days, I think it grew 6 inches. Starting to think I should have done LST....which I will likely do the next time I grow this strain. Nutes for the first time this week. It really loved the Big Bloom a few days ago.
started dealing with some nutrient deficiency this week. I believe it was manganese and caused a lot of leaves to go bad. also may have thrips again and an using Organacide spray
The mites/thrips problem isn't getting better, so now I'm moving to neem oil. The Organacide concentrate I was spraying on didn't seem to help. Starting a 7 day spray with neem to get it under control. I think I've got the nute problem solved too. Water runoff was PH'ing at 5.8 with some really brown/discolored leaves. Leaving water sit out in large containers for flush is helping
I feel like this plant is shedding fan leaves faster than it should. They're yellowing and falling off all over the place. I've read that's common for this strain, but concerned it's still a nute issue. Also can't seem to get rid of the aphids.
Will report back on buds after cured. On growing, this one was tricky as I struggled with deficiencies and bugs throughout. Same soil as my other plants, but this one gave me more problems and had all sorts of leaf issues to diagnose
Probably the trickiest one to grow. The aphids were a problem. The pH was a problem. The leaves nearly all died near the end. And I had small buds. But hey, it was my first true grow and I learned a lot that I'll apply next time. Can't wait to try the smoke!
Congrats! At first on my harvest of this genetic, the Terps were not fully developed by 3 weeks. Now after 8 weeks curing I'm getting sour citrus on the inhale and all fuel on the exhale. I think you'll like this stuff.
Dang. She’s looking tall! Keep up the good work! Thrips are the worst. Took me a couple weeks to figure out it wasn’t some deficiency. Now clones taken from outdoor plants are sprayed and quarantined for a bit.
