She's growing well and loving the sun, she gets a bit of rain on her which saves me watering her, as far I've only given her water so I'll probably give her a bit of backcountry grow next week. I've no idea what Durban even looks, tastes, smells, grows like but so looking forward to finding out. WWR good stuff.
Wow how this lady just getting stronger by the day. She's very symmetrical like a typical sativa. She's loving all the sun and no real signs of bugs which is great..so far so good with this girl..
Well it's been a bit hot and sunny 🌞 and she's just loving it, even handled a couple of bugs and gnats which is just impossible to stop totally. I do use neem every now and then and I spend a lot of time with my girls so if I see a bug it's dead..
Wow this lady has just powered up in the last 2 weeks, she has heaps of side branches with buds evenly spread along them. Her smell has a typical fuel smell which I don't think is Miss Durban so hopefully that changes but so far I'm impressed with how she's going. I think I'm a week ahead in my diary bcoz I'm sure she's on week 5 not 6 but no biggie really. She handles the heat just fine but I have noticed she attracts aphids whereas her girlfriend Hubba bubba has none at all but not many enough to keep me busy though, I'm very hands on with my girls 😜👍I know every nook and cranny of my ladies. So since she's starting to flower I've gone halves in grow and bloom ferts from Green planet and a bit of seasol and molasses light dose..now I just have to worry about the rainy days and put her under the back patio. I'm just waiting for the kookaburra to hack into it 👍🤣 he gets crazy when I ignore him and starts throwing crap of the table and yes attacked 2 of my normal potted plants just to get attention (food) 🤣. Ok that's my week to date. Have a good one guys and dolls..
Well she's shot up and out really quickly, she's got buds all over her 🙄 she smells of that pong still 🤣it must be an indica thing 🤣👍 I'm not a fan esp strong versions of it so I really hope it changes a bit with time..I've been giving her some molasses mixed with seasol regularly..
She's just powering along now, she's definitely a sativa with the typical Xmas tree look and her smell is starting to change with more fruit and pepper now but still that underlying fuel smell..I've stopped the grow nutes and gave only flowering nutes and a touch of booster for the fortnight. If you like an easy grow without mixing up liquid nutes then give Green planet a shot I really find them easy and hard to over feed but I only use small amounts on the top and water in fortnightly that's it..anyway peace love and lotsa buds guys and dolls.
She's just powering along now She's not going to be a big chunky girl but she does have lotsa bud sites and she's still shooting up so that's a plus. I can now smell the sativa side coming out now she's got a fresh mint and coffee smell about her and she's getting quite sticky and she looks lovely for an outdoor plant normally they get a bit weathered but she looks very nice, very light coloured buds with orange hairs before they brown up..the nights are starting to get a bit chilly now so that'll boost her a bit. I like my girls when they have coldish nights..anyway it's been a lovely week oh yeah my battle with gnats, spider mites and caterpillars and every other bug is on on going thing 👍🤣☮️the joys of growing outside. Neem oil and the like..
Well she's coming up just nicely and still putting on weight but looks like maybe 2 more weeks and she'll be about ready..I do partial harvesting in 3 stages so I've got 3 different strenghts and also to see how far she'll go..she's starting to get some different smells now which is great. She's got lots of buds on her..oh yeah I lost 1 branch to bud rot, I put her under the patio when it rained but just 1 branch got wet and within a couple of hours bang it was over the whole branch so bagged and cut that one out and it's not gone anywhere else so that's a big plus..I'm really happy with how she's going. I got my seeds from white widow rocks in Canada and I'd have to say thanks to them for the good genetics..
Ok so she's on her last week and she's a lovely plant..easy to grow and I probably could have fed her more but I'm happy with what she is..she looks like very sativa strain which Durban poison is meant to be and she does smell different from the usual gas smell now..anyway I'd definitely recommend growing this girl again and I might try her in summer and see if she can handle the heat. She didn't like the rain and humidity when she got wet but otherwise she is a strong lady. I always have spider mites, aphids, grasshoppers and gnats and she fought them well. I'll check in with a smoke report.
Ok so I've given her the chop and dried her and now curing for a while. She was an easy one to grow and could possibly even top or list but she was a nice size girl. She was around a metre tall with around 6 sets of side branches and the main cola all up around 2 oz which is pretty decent to me for outdoors and not in summer. Her smoke is pretty decent also a nice head stone and leaves you happy to do nothing or everything. The aroma is hard to describe but pepper lemon and fruit and just different but nice different. Sorry..anyway I'm happy with the whole grow and smoke that I'll definitely be seeing whitewidow.rocks again and they ship to Oz and yep freebies to boot..I'm thinking of try their whitewidow outside this spring season.
I love growing this Durban poison autoflower by whitewidow.rocks 100%
I have nothing to go on as far as comparing it to the photo version but for what it is it gets my points. I'll definitely be growing her again and she smokes just lovely and the mates like it too..great with the 1st culpa coffee ☕ of the day and your set..Thanks whitewidow.rocks and Grow diaries for giving me the opportunity and being able to show off a bit and learn more. It's much appreciated.
@Shooey, gidday bud I see you've liked a few of my posts ,it's good to see you back mate. I don't know whether your interested but if you are you should check out whitewidow.rocks in Canada they have some decent strains and they do look after people. Peace love and lotsa buds mate..
