PussyWagon6969 1st Mephisto grow! Excited to try a seed from a reputable source.
Going thru a SoCal heat wave. To prevent temps going above 90 I had to setup the ACs in the house. Nice and cool in the house but the tent is still a bit too warm. Probably wait on adjusting VPD until the weather stabilizes more.

PussyWagon6969 She's growin like a weed! Slow germinator but really quick growth in seedling stage.
Raised the lights 4" to get a bit more stretch.

PussyWagon6969 It's been tough keeping the temps low enough to hit the appropriate VPD without having a humidifier....
Trying to add humidity by misting the tent every morning but that seems to only last a few hours because of how well air is circulated.
Other than that, she's growing faster than the Kush and looking very healthy.
Update 7/22: she started to show a deficiency in the first set of leaves. Knowing this is fresh soil and has never been flushed, I immediately suspected a nute lockout due to PH. Flushed with ~850mL of PH 6.4 water and 8 hours later she had a mini growth spurt. Nice save!
PussyWagon6969 She suffered a little underwatering this week and required me to clip the first set of leaves... she's recovered. That said, I'll be increasing the watering frequency to about 500mL every 2.5 days.
I will also begin light feeding this week (1/4 strength).
Pistils are starting to show up in a few of the nodes.
PussyWagon6969 Crazy growth last week, with a height gained of about 3.5"! Feeding 1/4" strength nutes has begun.
I water with ~6.6 PH and feed with about 7.2 PH. My reasoning is that the Big Bloom nutrients seem to lower the soil PH significantly over time and if the feed is below 7PH then the soil drops out way to low causing lock out. At least that's what I think was happening to my last grow.
This plant is flowering really quickly and I'm thinking I'll only feed Veg Nutes maybe two or three more times then switch to Flowering Nutes.

PussyWagon6969 Main cola is really flourishing! I was hoping for a bit more stretch but we'll see how she fairs in a few weeks.
Planning to snip a few of the big fan leaves blocking lower budlets.
Starting flowering nutes this week!
Update: skipped on the flowering nutes because I had extra and didn’t want to waste it.... will start flower nutes on the next one!
PussyWagon6969 Beginning flower nutes FOR SURE this week...
In retrospect, I really wished I LST'd this plant... was worried about space considering my last LST grow took up the entire tent. Learning that it is all about genetics.
PussyWagon6969 She's packing on some more weight and I think I'll see even more in the next two weeks. Based on the pistil colors I'm thinking there's about 1 ish weeks to go... Like the Kush plant, there is some slight nute burn on the tips of the leaves. I'm going to replace one feed with a watering this week just to back off a bit.
Loving the new QB's but I'm not certain they're going to make much of a difference to weight this late in flowering. Unfortunately, I don't have any other data to compare to...
PussyWagon6969 This plant was way more fussy than the Kush. Even 8 hours late on watering and she would look droopy instantly. Even too much airflow impacted her negatively. I think switching out my lights (from blurple to QBs) was a bit to stressful for her because fine tuning the heat impact vs airflow took a bit of trial and error.
@Jaindoh@DudeGrowsWeed could you help me determine the harvest window again? I have pic my trichs on week 8 of Auto Beary White. I really appreciate your input! Let me know if I should post some more pics...?
@ToadieK, no worries! QBs = Quantum Boards. They're newer tech in lighting using white (4000K) LED from Horticulture Lighting Group (HLG). Much brighter and don't produce as much heat as the old blurple technology (Mars Hydro 300W).
