My robust and vigorous Big Foot is in danger. Green caterpillars are eating some parts of the plant. After facing proudly to the Mealybugs infestation with a high resistance and immto this predator; I must fight against a green caterpillar attack. Last year I had this problem and some serious damages à during last weeks of flowering caused by grey mold: botrytis.
I grabbed and killed a few caterpillars this days. I sprayed the solution of pepper, garlic, chili and alcohol but it seems ineffective and it can burn flowers. So I order Neem oil and pyrethrum ( seems to strong, too much precautions…..probably don’t used it).
Otherwise the outdoor conditions are great for September. The flowering plants process is well advised for this plant and Canna Terra Flores make the job. Watered one time with Silic Boost and one time with Cannazym this week.
It”s now midnight: time to hunt caterpillars 💡🐛☠️.
