Golden Tiger

Ok I’m back again to grow. I wanna apologize to Sweet Seeds who donated some of the seeds on my last grow. Might of noticed I didn’t finish any of them and that they weren’t looking good in some of the later weeks of updates. I kinda didn’t have my heart in it near the end because I had a former coworker and family friend inform me of their cancer diagnosis. Then we found a week later another cancerous growth on my older golden retriever Buddy (the white one) He’s almost 10.5yrs old now and have notice bloating and him groaning when trying to get comfy. Yet his appetite is great and the new kid (Fozzie Bear) won’t let him rest. I think Buddy likes the wrestling inside the house and outside in the backyard. Still his health has me worried, but I’m going to try going forward and hope he stays in good health. Currently they sit in my sisters tent that she is starting her outdoor garden with. Oh yeah, bud rot got everything last year on me with the very late humid days/nights in flowering. So the plan is to hopefully have these in my tent tomorrow or Wednesday (depending on work) They will go into their final 7G grow bag to finish off in Pro Mix All Purpose pete boss/soil (whatever) I will be growing on 4 plants and try to train out some monster Golden Tiger, Killer A5 Haze, Obi-Wan, and Northern Lights plants. All have a little stretch on them (minus NL) and will bury them a bit for when they get their final homes. Here’s hoping for better shit in my life/grow to happen over these coming months.

Day 14 and northern lights is still a stunted growth but she is still growing. I don’t have another seed of it to try from scratch for it, well minus an auto freebie from a past order. Obi Wan is sort of looking like Anakin with some leaf curling and burns. So I upped my lights a little bit and dim them down maybe 5% from where they were. Golden Tiger is living up to her name and growing like a beast. Training should be able to start on her later this week

Day 21 and ok I’m actually on the next day, but going back to update anyways. I have no idea why the fuck Obi-Wan keeps going to the dark side in her growth. I let her go dry for days and just doing tap water with a a little seaweed liquid. Everyone else looks healthy, minus the runt (but steadily getting better) Didn’t start my training yet, but for sure this coming week with my couple days I have off from work.

Day 27 and gave everyone a good drink yesterday of just tap water and they responded nicely. Also might of noticed that I topped Golden Tiger and Killer A5 should be just a couple days behind now. Took the top off and will see if they will clone for me to give to possibly a friend at work. At least Northern Lights is finally picking up a little growing steam now, but still my little runt. Obi-Wan still baffles me and will look at least a little cleaner with some of her burnt leaves cut off today after picks were taken.

Day 31 and everyone got a topping and/or trim for training too begin. Also took all their tops and will attempt to clone for friends to have, might keep the Northern Lights for outside attempt. Killer A5 there has some pretty stubby limbs but hoping that changes with more light exposure to them. Obi-Wan almost looks semi healthy after her clean up but leaf issues are still present but seem to be slightly improving but thin limbs. Thinking 4-5 more weeks of veg before 12/12, but who knows how things will pick up.

Day 38 and everyone got a watering today and they looked thirsty. I really messed up my back picking up the pup but hope to get on my knees tomorrow to maybe do a bit of training. Still can’t get Obi-Wan’s health where I want it, but look at what Northern Lights has become. Tonight I started my outdoor girls from seed and will hopefully see the following strains pop for me (will start diaries for them, when they move outside in a couple weeks) Gorilla Zkittlez, Blue Cheese, Sweet Zombie, Cinderella 99, Do-Si-Dos, and Afghan Kush x Black Domina. Some repeats of past grows, lots of Indica, and possibly add the Northern Lights clone for outside as well.

Day 46 and watering day with plain old water. I haven’t used anything but water and/or sometimes with a bit of seaweed/fish shit extract and working well so far. Even Obi-Wan is looking much healthier and greener for sure, but looks different between shots on my iPad(greener) and iPhone 12(lighter/yellowish) All 6 outdoor gals popped but my Blue Cheese gal might of fizzled out right afterwards. So giving her one o ore day to improve or I start a new seed. Should be able to go out in 2 weeks and journals will start then

Day 52 yesterday I gave everyone a good watering with a few drops of my seaweed/fish shit liquid. Also might of noticed I defoliated 3/4 plants earlier this week and look nicely recovered today. So with that all said and done, my limbs seems to putting out a nice little stretch. So if they continue their stretch for the next few days, flowering will commence on Sunday.

Day 58 So big week first I got fired from my pot shop job (new owners, holding back my raise past 6 weeks I and finally spoke up) Plus, you know, the tent switching over to 12/12 to get flowering mode kicking in. So with that I thought it was warm enough to get the outdoor gals going as well. Had my nieces help me plant them, then give them names and surrounded them with tomato cages. It’s to help keep out my giant golden retriever squirrel from getting them in his mouth.

Day 65 and gave everyone a nice drink today and they looked thirsty. I have a clone of my NL/KA5 which will go to either a neighbour or I might try and get the NL outside into a container. I really thought the Sativa strains would take off but haven’t yet, although my 2 strains from Canuk are flourishing so far. Should be fun to see what happens over the next 2 weeks.

Day 75 and things are looking good. Killer A5 Haze and Golden Tiger were a little thirsty and got a nice drink yesterday. Looks like they will need to be watered a little more frequently in comparison to the other 2. Also need separate feeds with the Ace Seeds only really needing Cal/mag and PK Booster. The other 2 are sticking with Cal/mag and Fish shit/seaweed extract. Just gotta find a someone to give a new home for my Killer A5 clone

Day 83 sorry on some missing days. Hospital all day yesterday and i think I’m dealing with depression, and this is my calm at the moment. Anyways the Ace gals got a drink 2 days ago and seem to of really liked their drink, and the Canuk gals got their drink today. Also added a pinch of PK Boost to their feed as well. Looking great and healthy so far and here’s hoping it stays that way.

Day 87 and everyone got a little training/pruning this week, some more than others. Yesterday I gave a good trim to Killer A5 Haze and she looks happier for it. Left the bottom a little leafy as solar panels. Todays I cleaned up G. Tiger of the yellow leaves and spread out both Obi-Wan and N. Lights for better light penetration/bud development. N. Lights is getting FROSTY up and down the limbs, with a real pine smell coming from her right now. Steady as we go

Day 94 so it’s the first signs I’ve see in Golden Tiger needed a little something in her feed. Starting to go a little yellow on me and so I gave it a sip of seaweed/fish shit that I use for my Canuk gals for a little nitrogen boost. Killer is looking plump but not frosting up like I was expecting it too. Obi-Wan and N. Lights on the other hand are looking real frosty and noticing them stacking/putting on some weight. Probably 3-4 weeks out from finishing but man are they gonna look snow covered at this rate. Oh and my latest seed order came and might borrow my sisters tent for another 4 plant grow. Probably look forward to some Banana Mac, Apricot Oreoz, CBGZero, and Frosted Black Cherry showing up soon in a journal.

Day 95 and man is GT going yellow on me. I think it might of been overwatering a little, and same with most my gals. I’ve been giving them about 1G each and now I’m wondering if they’re better off with a lighter watering for everyone. At least Obi-Wan and N. Lights are starting to pack some weight on, still frosty as hell, and topped most buds to get some back building happening. Probably 2-3 weeks away from NL being harvested but a little longer on Obi and everyone else.

Day 99 ah shit it got warm inside. I’m so close on a couple of them and I hope I’m not heading to another repeat of my last grow. I’m going to slowly water them hopefully back to a healthy harvesting state, and so keep your fingers crossed folks.

Day 108 I think my Northern Lights might just about be ready for the shop. Obi-Wan is reflowering a bit with new pistils just coming out over the past few days. Killer A5 lost bad but she has really packed on some weight over these past week of 2. Golden Tiger look a little yellow, but health seems to be improving a bit. Can see it reflowering again (one of many?) but are looking at green new growth again in this reflowering. Plus I think tomorrow I’m gonna hopefully attempt cleaning out the 2nd tent and get those other plants started before hopefully my new job starts.

Day 123 and I think we are nearing harvest time on NL, but new pistils started to show up a few days ago. So maybe we have just a tiny bit more girth to come. Again everyone looks like shit with all the yellowing when my temps got way too hot. Again Killer A5 is looking fat and new pistils still forming with a very frosty look right now. Golden Tiger is forming new pistils all the time it seems, but new green leaves are returning and the buds look like they are turning a little pink/purple. She has weeks to go I think but the pics do seem to show her packing on some steady weight

Day 129 and I’m gonna try and take down Northern Lights as she is almost dry on the vine. Obi-Wan might even be about done but will go a few more day. Other 2 are still fattening up and might noticed that I kind of went by and removed a bunch of the dead leaves, and look slightly healthier. Now onto some sad news that I have lost my furry friend Buddy to cancer after almost 11 years of memories. I was able to say my goodbyes and see him off to that rainbow bridge. He was a very good boy😢

Day 142 I’m back after taking some me time after losing Buddy. Hard to believe it’s been 2 weeks, but I do have some good news as Fozzie Bear will be getting a baby brother in November. He’s a little lost without his friend, and so a friend he/we shall get. So I think I fucked up and have lost my Killer A5 plant. Dry, dry and dry. Harvested N. Lights and looks like shit and was pretty much dried on the vine. So I’ll try to write a small review soon. Obi-wan I think is almost done, but Golden Tiger has a few rough spots but overall looking healthier as it goes. Maybe a few more week for her to finish as she gains a little weekly.

Well I fucked up on Killer A5 Haze to harvest, but I got something and will get to soon. Thankfully my patients and the robust easy nature of growing her, but learning that late into her grow. She is easier to grow then I’m rating but that was my experience of learning. She is a fun walking with dog with tunes strain that I only found getting psychedelic like after 3+ bowls of her from the bong. Will probably eventually grow again
