Shit got out of hand so I’m trying to catch up on the diary. In week 3 I had an issue where my space heater didn’t cutoff and the tent got up to 105*. I didn’t even take pictures because I was so embarrassed. I thought I’d have to restart from scratch, but I was able to salvage three of the plants. I had only planned on taking two to flower, but I’m curious to see how the smallest plant fares. I had to trim half the plant (the side closest to the heater). At week six I moved these from 1 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots. This was my first grow, so I thought I’d experiment with plastic pots vs. grow bags. I couldn’t even fully turn the grow bag plants over because the roots and soil are so loose. Henceforth I’ll be using grow bags exclusively. Also started adding Fox Farm trio nutrients using the FF feeding schedule, but at 50% the recommended strength because I’d heard so many people complain about the nutes being too hot at full strength.

Around week 7 I started doing some LST and upping my trimming. I attempted to lollipop the little gal that barely survived and supercrop the other two. You’ll see later, I should have been more aggressive on the two larger plants.

Really wishing I had trimmed more aggressively during veg. The stretch was less than I expected but they really thickened up through the middle. Flowers starting to form on all three plants.

The smell is starting to kick up, white pistils are forming everywhere. Ph is starting to dip so I bumped up the Ph of my water from 6.5 to 7.

Grow Questions

Greetings presently. I’m concerned about one plant. Top leaves are much lighter green than the other two plants and some leaftips are yellowing. This is the tallest plant so raised the light thinking could be light burn. Or nute deficiency? Thoughts?

Each plant is different and some will respond completely differently to the same treatment as their sisters... It looks like this lady needs just a tad bit more nitrogen and I would suggest you add Tiger Bloom to her feed (the others might like this as well...). Big Bloom has NO nitrogen but you don't want to go back to Grow Big because that's got far too much for the flowering stage. Tiger Bloom has a small amount of nitrogen and I'm pretty certain she will respond nicely. It is now a staple of MY feeding regime... That being said, I will tell you I had a grow of three plants, same strain, where one of them was steadfastly lime green throughout her life no matter WHAT I did for her... didn't affect her harvest at all - in fact, she was the best producer - but still try to get your lady back in line with the others... The only other thing I will mention here is that your feeding all of them a little lightly... By week 4 (from germination), I'm feeding my grows with 6tsp Big Bloom and .5 to 1 tsp Grow Big (depending on how they're handling the nitrogen)... Week 5, I'm still feeding 6 tsp Big Bloom but cut out the Grow Big and add 1 tsp Tiger Bloom... Week 6 through harvest I feed 6tsp Big Bloom and 2-3 tsp Tiger Bloom. I also add 1tsp CalMag but only once a week and then only if they need it. Good luck!
