Afghan kush

JimsGrowing Week one went ok I did loose one lady I think due to nutrients that could be still in the soil from last grow I have a pic of it there. It might have also been heat stress as they started in a second tent but have since moved to main tent now. I have another Afghan germinating again to go with this one and a northern lights x big bud is sharing the tent but in a separate diary

JimsGrowing week two has been a was a good week Afghan really starting to power along. late getting this week in and just moved to a bigger pot tonight. Still not feeding nuits yet and she is showing no signs of deficiency. Got a replacement up for the one I lost in week one she is still looking ok. Fingers crossed that she pulls through. The next 48 hours will tell

JimsGrowing Made a mistake with the diary week 4 is 3, week 5 is 4 and this week called week 3 is actually 5. Another good week this week more growth from the ladies. All secondary branches have been topped now and recovered nicely on the old Afghan. I have the problem of my soil not drying though. The plants haven't been watered in a week and my meter is telling me the soil is still wet+. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I'd looks to test some run off for ppm levels

JimsGrowing So I missed a week but it has been productive I got the first Afghan into its large pot because it definitely ready. She is responding well to topping and new growth can be seen over night. Some curling of the leaves along the edges can be seen and although it's not a massive problem I would love any tips from growers as to what it may be. I'm starting with over watering and will let it dry for 2-3 days and se what happens. Still just watering with plan water at this stage as there seems to be no signs of deficiency unless this leave curling is a beginning? AKS 2 is still not to happy I attribute this to nuits in the soil fingers crossed that the new set of leaves come through and she is happy

JimsGrowing 1st Afghan is going well had a send top on one of the secondary branches and am tucking a few branches into the net. She got her first feed of nuits 5ml of 1&2 duel fuel. Light defol of a few of the large fan leaves. Second plant is going well starting to kick now so hopefully it will get into gear this week

JimsGrowing Late again this, week ladies have been growing nicely. starting to drink extra water now which is nice. Got some root builder and added cal mag this week and they seem to be liking the added nuits. Getting ready to flip in the coming weeks. Will be interested to see what happens to second lady that was a couple weeks behind just how much will she stretch and how much less bud will I see

JimsGrowing Great week this week. Ladies really responded to the water and nuits increase. Continuing to defol a few of the larger leaves as they block sites. I watered till I could collect enough runoff to test my ppm which came back at 313 so I'm thinking next water I might increase my mix to around 900 and see if they really get a crack on in this final week before the flip and stretch. JimsGrowing Had trouble uploading pics this week so now I'm really late. Week 8 went well I gave them a hard defol with a few days to recover before I flip and boy did they grow back hard. I almost feel like the harder I trim the faster they grow. Ppm of soil is over 3000 I think from my previous grow so I am trying to bring that down. Plants are showing no signs of nuit burn however

JimsGrowing Late on the first week of flower got covid so had a rough week. Ladies are doing well they are happy to be up out of the run off dishes and getting there ppms down. Buds starting to form

JimsGrowing Having trouble keeping in the diary up-to-date. Ladies growing quite well though EC was quite high had to flush them a bunch of straight water. Both are an Afghan kush special but are showing differences in growing. Maybe due to one being flipped early. Have the EC under control now and buds are looking good. Got A new Mars hydra SP3000 to replace my three tier 600s which were definitely not doing the job. Still running to TS 600s with the SP 3000 but it looks to be doing a good job.

JimsGrowing Good week ladies are starting to stack pretty well now. Enjoy watching them grow. Worried about nitrogen toxicity I have backed right off on the duel fuel watering them with half dose or less every second or so mix that I brew. I've also noticed that my new leafs are growing quite thin and still seem to have dark green tips so I've also cut back to half strength for my bloom nutrients to see what happens. These plants seem to be suffering from a toxicity of something the leaves have turned quite dark green and are not like sugar leaves I've seen before. any tips from the pics provided would be wonderful

JimsGrowing Both ladies stacking well. Still a month away at a guess. Slightly high on the nitrogen still, still not feeding 1 or 2 duel fuel, new leaves are looking better though, smelling tasty.
