Left my camera at a friends house... I'll upload some pics by EOD Everything going on a normal pace. 7th day - Feed them the recommended dose of growing phase 1st time. I'm trying to go through this run by "guessing" the EC. - I have a meter for safety net but I'm relying more on reading the plants and the feed log. 12th day - Lights out a little more than 4h along with ventilation so when I checked they were sweating but now by EOD they are fine. - We can see 2 different phenos. 1 more bushier pheno present in 4 out of 6 and the other two in the middle are smaller but +/- with same nº of nodes. Base Nutrients: I'm watering 0.3L/plant with nutrients in the morning. By end of day the substrate is a little dryer (coco cannot fully dry ever!) so I give them another 0.3L per plant with only water and Fulvic by Terra Aquatica (G.H.E.) or any other booster needed. Idea is keeping the substrate always moist respecting the feedings so that the EC doesn't fluctuate much. Doing this everyday will eventually cause run off which we'll measure to make sure we're on the right path. (also the L/plant will increase as more the plant drinks while keeping the number and type of waterings a day). -The feed is not exactly the same everyday. The nutrients list is the amount I use when I use any of it during the week. -Boosters: (The boosters dose on the nutrient list is incorrect and is as 1tsp/l by default. Find the doses below.) - Bactomatik: Using the recommended dose of Bactomatik found in the label. (1 time use - soaking the substrate with it). - Silicate : minimum recommended dose of Silicate 0,4g/L ( 3 days of the week). - Calmag : every other watering minimum dose. 1ml/L for now. - PH down dry powder : 0.2g per liter to drop ph to 5.8-6 - my tap water comes out at PH 7.

Hi, Trying to tune in feedings and watering in a 100%Coco grow "without" an EC meter (I have and it's my safety net for this trial) I left a note on how I'm doing it on the description of 1st week of the only diary I have. Posting some pictures soon. Give me your insights please

Ok I grow in coco often. I dunno where you got your information on how, but this is how. Coco is a high irrigation inert substrate. Basically hydro in a bag or potter. So it always stays wet. Tons of run off. 5.8 ph in and 5.8 ph out of bottom in run off in vegging. Anything about a 6.2 the roots are locked out in. Dropping coco ph will require lots of water. It is ok you can not over water in coco unless you dump a straight stream in 24/7. It holds air like perlite protecting roots from over water. You also look to be feeding really heavy for a auto AR 2 weeks. They should be literally just getting a taste of nutrition at day 7 to 10. Then slowly increase. My first feed is about 4 drops of each of my 3 part and cal mag at 1 ml to liter the whole grow. If you got a decent cal mag you won't need more. Every feed though. Coco absorbs cal mag. I feed every other morning after I flush coco and get a ph reading. Then adjust if needed. Then I put a gallon on nutrition in. Which I use 3 gallon fabric. In coco they don't need anymore, but roots will fill them nicely. Coco is not soil don't treat it as such. You will encounter major issue, and lose a lot of the grows potential. I feed every other and splash just enough ph water on them to keep them wet between feedings. In heavy bulking in flowering I like to add bloom booster to splash. Hopefully this helps.

Hi Growers, I've done lst and hst on autos before but not always the same nice results and I wonder what tips you might have or what markers I might look for in the plant to know if it's on point for training. How to identify the peak of vigor before it happens in veg?

Hey there Seedlock , autos' stems "thicken up" quite quickly and it can be a bit difficult to train them and especially difficult for the training to pay off. You want to start as early as possible, something like 10 days , dont forget an anchor. if you leave it too long the bud sites get all stunted , that's the thing. you can tell by the appearance of 5 pointed leafs, try to do all that beforehand. Buy yourself some time by removing the leafs as they split or even beforehand.

My N4 on the Underground Pleasures diary is a bit strange. Can you notice from the pics? It is a bit droopy because it's night time for them but the problem is the clawing and has a paler green than the others. I flushed it with PHd water and keeping nutes by half the strength.

Hey there Seedlock, you had a bit of root problems , you can tell from the droopy leafs and other symptoms. It's basically a problem from overwatering because of the top cover that you have there. Basically if there is not easy drying so mold and other issues can happen. so if you follow a much stricter wet dry cycle the problem should fix itself based on your feeding schedule that you already have. just start again with bacteria and fluvic acid, appart from this little thing , you're really doing a good job. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hi all, I'm wondering...I'm using flora tri pack plus fulvic acid, bloom booster, bennies and gonna finish with Ripen. Should I add the candy anywhere along the way or not needed? If possible check my diary before to understand better where I'm at in this one. Thanks in advance

Hi All, Another question about feedings: I've used the Silicate from T. A. (GHE) along side beneficial microbes on the start of vegetative. I've dropped the dust of silicate with the dust of microbes on the top soil. Should I do it now in flowering too or too late for that.

silicate doesnt really make a difference when you're already feeding calmag, but the beneficial bacteria always works though, it usually does help , you can easily add them to benefit during flower. hope this helps ! 🚀

@SeedlockHolmes, sorry if i wasnt clear growmie, it's a root zone issue (more) commonly found when folks overwater. In your case it's caused by exactly what you just said. So you have to fix the root zone. In coco, the only way you can do that is by removing the problem roots. Right now you can do this by using the fluvic acid. Just increase a bit the fluvic for a few waterings, reduce the rest of the stuff just a touch also so it doesnt burn. The fluvic acid will break down the problem roots . Another product you can use in addition to the fluvic to prevent this problem is humic acid. usually in your case just one or two doses of humic & fluvic or just humic acid will do the trick. Right now your problem is taking hold but it's not as severe as it can get, maybe the plant will muscle through, maybe it needs a bit of help. Trying to use more beneficials is also quite a good idea if you're having this kind of problem a bit more often something like trichoderma harzianum and bacilus subtilis / thuriengiencis 😉👊 🚀

@CRiSPrGrow, Hi friend, Thank so much for answering! 👊👌 Currently overwatering is a bit impossible (also because using 100%coco and I never leave runoff in the plates) but it might have been possible in the beginning like week 1 or 2 when the plant was smaller. Also in the start I had PH a bit lower so I had to flush it early in it's cycle to correct the PH on the substrate. Might have had some deficiencies because of that too causing the paler green and the curling down leaves - they were folding at the veins. What would be your second guess other than overwatering? That N4 seems to be catching up with all the others. The roots on all plants are almost visible, that's how developed they are, and they are going through the fabric pots. 💪 I'll keep watching it the next days to see if it's good now before I close the grow question and select the answer.

Nice plants so far @SeedLockHolmes I would advice you use softer ties for LTS, much safer Use like the rubber ones. Good luck growing and looking forward to see more :)
