Temperature: 73 fahrenheit, 23 C Humidity: 60%-65% Lamp to plant: 60-70cm No nutrients yet Watered every 2 days with ph 6.5 Day 18: Was on vacation for a week. Temperature and humidity were constant during that time. But i think the leaves look kind of leathery? What is going on here? Using only on 150W LED instead of 2 now to bring temperatures down to 23°C. Day 19: Noticed some clawing on one of the Think Different plants. I"ll keep an eye on it. They start to smell a little. :) Day 20: Nothing special. First time watered till run-off. Day 21: Last day of week 3. So far, they dont look too bad imo. I was thinking about changing the light cycle to 20/4 instead of 24/0

They are healthy but it may be a little bit cold for them. The temperature shouldn't come down below 18°c

Is it normal for the plants leaves to droop a little right after watering (within 2 hours or so)? This is the second time i see this. Day 32 seems to be the most prominent so far.

I, too, grow autos under 24/7 and mine never droop unless they're either thirsty or have been overwatered... since they're drooping on you right after you water them, I'd say you're not letting them dry out enough between waterings. Make sure the pot is super light before giving them another drink! You don't have to abide by a strict schedule.. i.e., every two days or whatever... let the plants tell you when they need something. Autos can withstand drought better than they can withstand overwatering so if I'm ever in doubt, I will wait until they start drooping on me and then give them water or feed (whatever is up next for them) and they respond happily after about an hour or two. And btw, do check out FreeCain's diaries (there aren't any) before you take advice! Good luck with your grow... it looks fabulous!

How long can/should one perform LST? I have one plant in full flower, two are starting, the fourth one seems to take a bit longer.

LST can really be done any time it's needed - the exception being if they're too young (i.e., before they have 3-4 nodes). I've had to do LST on my Tangerine Dream as late as 3 weeks before harvest! She was going to tear therough the top of my tent if I hadn't! When the LST has been in place for a while (couple of weeks?), it will become permanent and you can release it and use the material (whatever you've used) to use it elsewhere... Nice job, btw... the grow looks fab!

The pots are 10L pots. Are they too small? Plants dont seem to be doing too well.

Is the one your having issues with the Auto or the Photoperiod? I would monitor the EC and PH of the runoff for some indicator on whats up. If you not watering till runoff then make a note of how strong the feeds are. Autos do not like feed as strong as photoperiods. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ I like to use this as a reference point for most autos but still need to look at your plant and see if its saying more or less. FYI, biobizz is best if left to stand out overnight then ph adjusted if needed, it tends to drift down over some time. Good Luck!

You should look for trichome on FLOWER not on leaves. Leaves mature earlier. take care with that not to harvest too soon.

Many things going on here. Well yes you could have been overfeeding, your other plants are already showing brown tips indicating that. Your EC(PPM) is like 0.8-1.3 thats not that high for flowering, even for autos( i did even 2.3 lol with lots of only watering) but still you should check up on your soil, Try to flush and see what is happening in your medium(soil) but that is not the only issue here in my opinion. You had most definitely a heat and light problem as well, look at the leafs. and when you found out, i can only gues you lifted your lights? What will happen? the buds will stretch, you get thoose fox tail looking buds from both things ;) Look at week 10, picture 4, plant behind this one, that plant is already foxtailing because of that decision. Sure foxtailing can be genetics but i don't think so with your plants. What happend with this plant cannot be undone but you still can harvest her when she is ready, but just don't make decisions for this plant that can screw up others. You also should give your plants a time to rest. Sure 24hours a day can be done but you should do like 18-20 hours a day, your plant will love it more. As for your lights, there is not a perfect height from lamps to plants with leds but since you use like 150watts, 60-70cm might be to high. Just make sure you don't run 24hours a day, have 27degrees temperature, then you can lower your lamps for better compact buds. You can try to make your filter run faster, inflate fresh colder air, make your fans blow better on your cantopy. Goodluck growing :) Goodluck growing.

What do you guys think of my custom dry room? It is build in the basement, constant 18C (64F) and 60%. It has a big inlet on the left side of the tent with netting, 2 oscillating fans blowing above and below the buds, and an extraction fan + filter. Any improvements?

Your lucky to have such consistent temp/humidity. Your front door looks to be transparent. As long as the room your drying in does not have lights on or windows. You want to dry in complete darkness. Extraction fan is more then enough air circulation. A single fan below you would be hitting max airflow. Both is overkill. All you are doing is avoiding stale air. a small computer fan is enough. I would also make a small drying screen, for any small buds that are difficult to hang. Binder clips work well for larger buds that don't have a stem to hang off of.

Hey there friend. Congratulations on getting into growing cannabis! I think you are gonna really like it here at growdiaries. looking at your diary, Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? Even though autoflowers do not need a change in light cycle to flower, They are still cannabis plants. They photosynthesize during lights on & store energy then do the majority of their growth while they are asleep. I would recommend a 20/4 or 18/6 cycle minimum. Get yourself a cheap little timer & use it they are handy & inexpensive. So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit. I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1, Your PH being at 6.5 will be the cause of those issues accumulating & now showing, Lets get that dialed in! This website does a GREAT job of illustrating it with a nice graph & very good detailed explanation for soil. https://autoflowerseedshop.com/cannabis-ph-chart-guide/ As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully. So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting. We are currently in the middle of producing a very comprehensive tutorial series for everybody to learn from & understand how to grow the highest level craft cannabis all on their own. If this interests you please check out our youtube and subscribe. The first 2 episodes are out the next one is coming in a few days. If you should ever have any questions or need any help, Please feel free to follow my profile and shoot me a DM. I will gladly help you with the pull down & make sure you get the best quality harvest possible as it is the most important step of the entire process. Good luck my friend!
